Over the past decades, research in this area has grown and become an ever-increasing problem. Many academic research and public authorities' efforts have been made to alleviate this issue. In this paper, we investigate the application of neural network time series model to predict hourly traffic volumes for a Tunisian national highway (N8). A total 1-year of traffic volume data of 14 stations in both directions, where used in this analysis. The study applies Artificial Neural Network (ANN) for short term forecasting of traffic flow using past traffic data. The model incorporates traffic volume as input variable. The simulation experimental results show that the model is with good stability and the mean square is used as evaluation criteria.","PeriodicalId":435919,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Colloquium on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121106057","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Avowedly, to be competitive, any organization of the supply chain tends to be invested more and more in a permanent environment for a Sustainable development on all these levels by seeking not only the environmental but also social and economic aspect. In addition, the food signs are touched by this approach to ensure the harmonious and perennial of their food store. We presented in this study a new multi-criteria method for choice issues based on the main behaviors of Sustainable Development. The Sustainable Development will aim to determine the best strategy to be followed within the food store within “MONOPRIX Sfax Center”. Moreover, we must not neglect the dependency relationships that may link between the different Sustainable Development criteria. We developed a new methodology based on TOPSIS method that integrates the Choquet Integral to model the interactions between the existing criteria. This combination will result on a new TOPSISIC approach that consists of replacing the weighted sum of the TOPSIS method with the Shapley index to outline a better strategy for the food retailers.","PeriodicalId":435919,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Colloquium on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129781695","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Over the past decade, an outstanding body of knowledge (BOK) has been accumulated about OI and nowadays, it is one of the most reviewed topic in the field of “Innovation Management”. The concept has swiftly progressed from a restricted circle of high-tech practitioners, to a widely discussed and implemented concept in different industries. The community of researchers have made it an established research field. The primary goal of this article is to explore the concept recent developments in light of new research findings and industry best practices. Thus, we start by analyzing the model of OI, commonly contrasted to “Closed Model”, then we attempt to categorize OI and to analyze strengths and limitations of each class type. Lastly, we address the crucial issue of OI processes, we attempt to assess recent models, to discuss implementation issues and to select best practices. This paper aims to build on past and present studies to provide future directions, also, limitations are presented to point out issues that remain insufficiently documented and require further academic researches. The main theories and authors (practitioners and academics) who deal with OI have been highlighted.","PeriodicalId":435919,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Colloquium on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126792211","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To address these and other problems, EDs increasingly implement the Lean Six - Sigma approach. This approach has become a business model and a symbol of excellence, with the goal of eliminating waste and reducing defects and variations within an organization's processes. In this approach Lean is focused mainly on waste elimination, using simple and visual techniques whenever possible, and Six Sigma is focused on control and processes variability reduction, using statistical tools for this purpose. The present paper proposes a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) model supported by the DMAIC cycle with an application to the case of Habib Bourguiba's Hospital ED.","PeriodicalId":435919,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Colloquium on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"162 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124542067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This suggested approach based on the genetic algorithm is a blending between the simulation (ARENA) and machine learning (Neural Networks). The first one produces a matrix of theoretical solutions and the second one contributes a solution based on the feedback on experiences. This method provided a reliable and efficient solution based on available resources and on a solutions applied in real cases. The result shows that the genetic algorithm provided a new solution that improves the solutions got by the simulation. Also we made an application as a decision support tool for hospital decision-makers to provide with the needs of resources in the same cases. This work is being carried out in collaboration with the Mohammed 5 hospital center in Casablanca (Morocco).","PeriodicalId":435919,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Colloquium on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116898461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This involves modeling then measuring and optimizing its handling workload in order to improve physical flow. This problem can be formalized by mathematic equations, and seen as a bin packing problem; two cases are defined, the core model of bin packing with 1 dimension, and the bin packing with conflicts (incompatibilities). All of this, by applying a variety of industrial and scientific knowledge tools such as SMB, Chrono-analysis, and Bin-Packing. In order to solve the bin packing problem, we have to select simple and strong heuristics, after adapting them to our case, and validate all the constraints. Besides, we can use the sequential coupling (Heuristic - list algorithm). Finally, we will apply our method in a real industrial context.","PeriodicalId":435919,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Colloquium on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123537283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this paper is to give a clue of the current worldwide situation of the healthcare information systems (HIS) through a Systematic literature review and how can an efficient information system improve the hospital logistics chain. Method: The authors systematically establish the research through efficient data sources in IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Taylor and Francis, Sprouts, Google Books, we also used studies of experts of the domain from 2000 until 2018. Results: After Data synthesis, 197 studies met the inclusion criteria and we have defined three main axis of the subject which are: Implementation of healthcare information systems, methodology for evaluating Healthcare information systems, constraints and advantages related to healthcare information systems. Conclusion: Our study takes us to conclude the most relevant points that could a healthcare institution benefits from HIS. Furthermore, we find that most of the research focus on demonstrating the capabilities of HIS and how to implement a HIS, but we observed a limitation in how to evaluate a HIS and how to conduct a success of HIS in non-developed countries such as Morocco in order to improve hospital Supply chain.","PeriodicalId":435919,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Colloquium on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115334654","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
