Abstract

The present work deals with a complex topic of physical flow; it includes the dimensioning of logistics human resources in the productions lines. This involves modeling then measuring and optimizing its handling workload in order to improve physical flow. This problem can be formalized by mathematic equations, and seen as a bin packing problem; two cases are defined, the core model of bin packing with 1 dimension, and the bin packing with conflicts (incompatibilities). All of this, by applying a variety of industrial and scientific knowledge tools such as SMB, Chrono-analysis, and Bin-Packing.
