The research Model uses a 2 x 2 factorial design. The research sample is 60 Grade 9 students from first junior high school, South Jakarta academic year 2018--2019. The two-way Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used in this study. The effectiveness of the learning management is determined by the calculation of effect size, while the results of the study are as follows: There is a influence of cooperative learning model interaction and motivation to learn to understand mathematical concepts, Influence of cooperative learning model to understand the concept of mathematics, the influence of motivation to learn to understand the concept of mathematics, and learning model of cooperative learning the type of Student Teams Achievement Devision (STAD) has High effectiveness towards understanding students ' mathematical concepts. With the conclusion that understanding the concept of mathematics in junior high school is influenced by the use of cooperative variation and learning motivation of students. The research methods used in this study are experimental methods, sampling using simple random sampling techniques. The instrument used is the test result of a nine-grain essay about the seven indicators of mathematical critical thinking ability. For scoring, critical thinking skills use zero to four scores. Test data requirements used are liliefors test and Fisher test. From the Liliefors test calculations for experimental classes and the control classes are obtained by normal distribution data and have homogeneous variances. This research was conducted in the country in JUNIOR 1 Klapanunggal, Bogor 2016/2017 school year where its implementation starts from October 2016 until February 2017. The population in this research is grade VIII and sampelnya taken as a random grade VIII class VIII and Shiva B F with the number of students is 60. This research is descriptive research types and uses of research survey (survey research). To obtain data about the population and sample of researchers using the method documentation, method of observation, and test method. The instruments used in this research is shaped reserved as many as 10 description of problem. The instrument has been tested the validity and reliabiltas first before the instrument is used for research by using correlation Product Moment. This research analysis prerequisite test IE test Kolmogorov-Smirnov using Normality and its homogeneity test using the test F which menghasilakan that the Gaussian data and homogeneous. While the test whose hypotheses using correlation Product Moment. The calculations in this study use Microsoft Excel 2010 and SPSS 20.0.
