Smart ports that use intelligent information interchange improve port quality and efficiency through digitization and automation, increasing the economic function of ports leading towards higher economic development. The research paper aimed to identify the extent of the impact of the role of the use of enterprise resource planning information systems as a means of re-engineering (operations re-engineering) for Egyptian ports as a service sector, the factors that affect the success of the role of using enterprise resource planning information systems are investigated. These factors are assumed to be the senior management support, the human potential, the technical capabilities, the financial capabilities and the re-engineering process of the operations. Growing concerns from governmental and nongovernmental organizations (NGO) and the increase of consumer awareness are reasons why companies are going for environmentally friendly (green) products. despite the importance of this issue, there is a lack of research in testing the impact of green brand knowledge & green brand trust on Egyptian consumers’ green purchasing intentions via attitude towards green brands. So, in order to achieve this objective, three main research questions have been examined. This research was carried out in the Egyptian food & beverage market sector from the customer perspective, the data were collected only in Cairo, Alexandria, and Aswan, as non-probability convenience sampling technique was used. the country’s capital and two of its major cities and the city that attract investors in upper of Egypt and named as the capital of the youth in the African continent, in addition the population density in those cities is high, also, the number of malls and hypermarkets and the density of frequent customers is more in those cities. These questionnaires were analyzed by using (SPSS) to test and analyze the research hypotheses. This research aims at identifying the main elements constituting the digital SC transformation, while highlighting the main requirements and obstacles facing such transformation. The paper analyzes the impact of digital transformation on changing SC characteristics in order to identify the main drivers for transformation. An empirical study is conducted to assess companies’ awareness and level of readiness to adopt digital SC transformation and identify the main obstacles facing such transformation. Clear benefits have been identified from SC digital transformation which can impact different performance metrics. Other factors that should not be ignored are to ensure the level of readiness and ecosystem support. The survey identifies cost and lack of a clear methodology for digital SC initiatives as main factors limiting organizations' digital SC transformation. Empirical studies can be conducted to measure the benefits of SC digital transformation based on the performance measures and metrics identified in this paper. The paper provides a road map to deal with the main factors which limit organizations' digital SC agenda at the execution level. This paper proposes a framework capturing the main drivers which can enable digital SC transformation in the business sector. The first, is to examine the impact of perceived ease of use, usefulness, risk and product involvement on intention to use aggregator medical mobile apps. The second objective is to reveal factors which might make some healthcare consumers not use aggregator medical mobile apps. Thus, a single cross sectional descriptive research was employed, and questionnaires were used to gather data from 111 app users over two months (March and April 2021) from Cairo, Giza and Alexandria. Multiple regression was used to test the research hypotheses. Results indicate that perceived usefulness, product involvement and perceived ease of use have significant positive impacts on intention to use aggregator medical mobile apps, while perceived risk has no significant impact on intention. To achieve this objective, a structured questionnaire with close-ended questions is used. A two-stage sampling technique is used. First a simple random sample is used to select the banks working in Egyptian banking sector. Second a judgmental or purposive sample of different bank customers was withdrawal. In total, 400 questionnaires were distributed, 390 were used. Various statistical tools such as descriptive statistics, Cronbach Alpha, KMO, Person correlation coefficient analysis, simple and multiple regression, factor analysis was used for data analytics. The results indicated that social media use, perceived value, and brand trust have a significant positive effect on brand image in the Egyptian banking sector. e-WOM didn’t has a significant influence on brand image and brand equity. Neither social media use nor e-WOM has a significant positive effect on brand equity. Brand trust and brand image have a significant influence on brand equity. Brand image mediate the relationship between social media use, brand trust, e-WOM and brand equity. This study proposed, that marketers should improve perceived value, e-WOM, social media use and brand trust in the Egyptian banking industry and they have to develop new strategies to update their current programs to reinforce both image and equity to their brand and products/services. Thus, this study emphasis on the role of social media brand communication, as one of the most important elements in building brand equity, which consists of firm-generated content (FGC) and user-generated content (UGC) to examine their impact on building brand equity dimensions via online brand experience in the Egyptian HE sector. Questionnaires were distributed electronically to gather data. Data gathered from 399 undergraduate students from private and international universities. Data have been analyzed via Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), AMOS 22. Results indicated that UGC has a significant positive direct impact on online brand experience more than FGC. Additionally, it has been indicated that online brand experience played a mediator role between UGC and brand equity dimensions. This study contributes to the branding literature by highlighting the vital elements in building brand equity in the HE sector that needs more attention.
