While the human resources policy covers the human resources of an organization in the micro sense, it covers the human resources of the nations in the macro sense. Achieving this goal will make it a center of attraction for qualified human resources; harmonious execution of growth, development, regional development and spatial development policies becomes more important than before. It is also aimed to strengthen the human resources management strategies and practices of administrations and organizations. Quantitative development will provide qualitative depth education; It is seen as a life-long process that accepts it as an investment in our future with a long-term perspective, improves the quality of life of our people, equips our country's human resources to compete with the contemporary world. In order to ensure that more qualified manpower comes to Turkey, new incentive mechanisms will be created and work permit processes are facilitated and accelerated. It is aimed to strengthen the human resources of the centers and schools to serve children better. Considering the power of human resources policy to realize social change, it is also important to consider what has been done in policy areas and future expectations.","PeriodicalId":434398,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advances in Education and Philosophy","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130626992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was guided by two research questions and two null hypotheses. The population consisted of 173 Business Education graduates from public tertiary institution offering Business Education programme in Enugu State in the 2019/2020 academic session. No sampling was carried out since the population was manageable. The instrument used for data collection was a 17-itemed questionnaire developed by the researcher. The instrument was validated by three experts and the reliability of the instrument was determined using Crombach Alpha which yielded reliability index of 0.88. The instrument was administered by the researcher. 160 out of 173 copies of the questionnaire were well responded to, returned and therefore, used for data analysis representing 93 percent return rate. Mean and standard deviation were used for data analysis and correlation statistics was used to test the null hypotheses. Findings showed that: High and low achievers get jobs at same rate, Doing well on the job does not depend on grade, High achievers are more creative on jobs, Employers seek skills more than grade, Good grade does not guarantee employability, Job creation is targeted at both high and low achievers are some of the factors to prove that academic excellence is not a yardstick for employability in Nigeria. The null hypotheses showed that no significant relationship exist in the mean responses of high and low achieving Business Education graduates in public tertiary institutions in Enugu State on the itemized variables. Based on the findings, it was recommended among others that Attention should be shifted from academic excellence as yardstick for employability in Nigeria so that students are not pressured into dubious means just to graduate with high grades since findings of the study has shown that the both variables has no direct relationship. Employment opportunities should be massively created for all enough for both high and low academic performers since the findings of the study revealed that those with low academic performance can also have valuable skills capable of keeping them on the job for as long as they intend to.","PeriodicalId":434398,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advances in Education and Philosophy","volume":"215 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115511105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Five groups of Wistar rats were used for the study. They included, the control that received sterile water (vehicle), 0.2 ml/ 100 g rat; a drug-only group which received a dosage of 0.07 mg/kg, p.o.; a drug and low dose extract group that received 0.07 mg/kg, p.o. and extract of 300 mg/kg, p.o.; a drug and high dose extract group that received 0.07 mg/kg, p.o. and extract of 400 mg/kg, p.o.; and an extract-only group which received 300 mg/kg, p.o. of extract, all for a duration of 64 days (8 weeks). The values obtained from the control and treatment groups were compared statistically using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Results showed a statistically significant (p<0.05) difference relative to the control group for sperm parameters. In conclusion, ethanol leaf extract of Ficus thonningii had ameliorative and prophylactic abilities to counter damage induced on the testis by Amlodipine when the extract was administered at both low and high doses in test animal subjects.","PeriodicalId":434398,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advances in Education and Philosophy","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127726005","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The descriptive survey research design was used for the study. Two research questions and their corresponding null hypotheses were used to guide the study. The population for the study comprises of all married women in Port Harcourt Metropolis of Rivers State which comprised both Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt City Local Government Area. The population of the study was made of 37,801 married women. A sample size of 554 married women was used for the study. A researcher developed instrument titled Domestic Violence Causes and Consequences Inventory (DVCCI) was used for data collection. The face and content validities of the instruments was determined by the dissertation supervisor and one expert each in counselling psychology and measurement and evaluation. The reliability of the instrument was established using Cronbach Alpha Technique with coefficients of 0.82 and 0.92 obtained for the sections on causes and consequences respectively. Mean was used to answer the research questions, while independent samples t-tests and Analysis of Variance was used where applicable. Testing of the hypotheses was done at 0.05 level of significance. The major results from the study were that there is a high incidence of domestic violence against women in Port Harcourt Metropolis of Rivers State. The major factor driving this problem is the family history of abuse by the partner. This results in physical bruises and injuries. Based on the results obtained, it was recommended that there should be greater awareness on the options available to women who are exposed to domestic violence because when women have a clear understanding of these options and the resources available to them, they are better able to make informed choices and leave their abusive spouses. Alterations in menstrual cycle alters thyroid function which could be either hypo or hyper thyroidism. Abnormal increase in serum prolactin level can cause disturbance in follicle maturation and corpus luteum function, and can lead to inhibition of normal secretion of GR hormone in hypothalamus which results in anovulation. The aim of the present study was to assess the thyroid and the prolactin levels among the women with dysfunctional uterine bleeding at tertiary care Hospital of western Rajasthan. Methods: An observational study was conducted for a period two years i.e from 2020 to 2022 in our institution at the gynaecology OPD with help of pathology department. 250 Patients with the complaints of dysfunctional uterine bleeding of age group between 25 to 70 years were included in the study. Estimation of Free T3, Free T4, TSH and prolactin was done by chemiluminescent immunoassay for the patients. Results: The mean TSH levels among the DUB cases was high. Similarly, hyperprolactinemia was found in cases and the mean prolactin levels were higher in cases. Significantly strong positive correlation between thyroid function and prolactin with p value <0.0001 was found.which indicates that as the TSH level increases prolactin levels also increases. Conclusions: Early detection of hypothyroidism in DUB cases can save the patient from recurrent curettage and at times hysterectomy. The financial implications of screening for prolactin/thyroid hormone abnormalities will have to be evaluated before a general recommendation can be made.","PeriodicalId":434398,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advances in Education and Philosophy","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124538217","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
