To solve this problem, we have many techniques and algorithms that help us to detect objects in natural environment. Prime components of object detection are classification and feature extraction. In this paper we have used a method called Convolution Neural Network (CNN) a technique for training images for object recognition. Machine learning techniques are applied on computer vision domain. This research aims to propose a new design and a methodology to support a system in order to recognize the object and give us the pop-up message in case the object is considered as a weapon. Image processing techniques are used to develop the system. This experiment is conducted to access the following qualities, say, to verify whether the system is able to detect the object and to measure the accuracy of the proposed system.","PeriodicalId":433980,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Control Systems (ICCS)","volume":"159 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121513007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to develop collaborative networks of robotic elements, the data from each sensor is shared through the network. As the number of sensors increases the data handled by the network also increases significantly. This causes serious network congestion issues even for a small network. In this paper, a framework for smart sensor interface is presented to optimize the data sharing and diagnostics operations. Different functions, operating conditions and architecture for cloud connectivity of sensor interface is presented. The implementation scheme and verification experiment are presented to show the application of the proposed design in multiple related sensors. The partial experiment results show that the proposed scheme can provide valuable insight to detect any deviation from normal behavior. Based on this information smart sensor and remote application can be used to take appropriate action. The partial results show that the proposed scheme can be employed for sensor data analytics in collaborative robotic networks.","PeriodicalId":433980,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Control Systems (ICCS)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122601940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many attacks pose an active threat to the cloud environment. Amongst these attacks, DDOS is one of the cheap online attacks which disrupts the services that are available for the legitimate users. Separating legitimate and malicious traffic is not an easy task. The main idea of the DDOS attack is to affect numerous user machines, infecting them with a certain malware. The infected machines also known as zombies or botnets are then controlled by the attacker to launch the flooding attacks on a particular network or a server. The infected machines carry out the main attack by increasing the traffic flow to a victim machine. Due to which the victim machine loses all its computing and communication resources. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the various detection techniques used and implemented in various cloud environments to counter these types of attacks.","PeriodicalId":433980,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Control Systems (ICCS)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131126009","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is done on the basis of BLAKE-2 Hash algorithm, Integer Wavelet Transformation (IWT) and Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees (SPIHT) encoding. BLAKE-2 Hashing algorithm is used to generate sensitive keys from the input image and it results different key values for different images. BLAKE algorithm is very sensitive to changes occurred in the input. In IWT, images are decomposed in to various layers and hence are more immune to attacks. One of the most powerful image compression algorithm used to produce an embedded bit stream form that has the best reconstructed images which shows a significant perceptual improvement as well as an increased PSNR is SPIHT. SPIHT encoding never uses a code book and hence there is no burden to send the coded book while transmission. By combining all the three methods we obtained a decrypted image with high security, good lossless compression performance, high PSNR value and a better quality factor.","PeriodicalId":433980,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Control Systems (ICCS)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127793596","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system comprises of hydro power plant interconnected to AC Microgrid. As AC Microgrid variations are very instantaneous on subjection to demand variation, it is proposed to use secondary controller to retain the system behavior within the limits. In this work; PI (secondary controller) controller is chosen to retain the frequency and tie-line power variation at a speedy rate on subjection to demand variation. PI controller is tuned using trial and error and compared with GA for its performance mapping. The controller performance is measured using three forms of error approximation methods namely Integral time absolute error (ITAE), Integral time square error (ITSE), Integral square error (ISE). The system is developed, tuned and tested with various demand variation using MATLAB/Simulink and validated the controller performance using the above mentioned performance indices.","PeriodicalId":433980,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Control Systems (ICCS)","volume":"240 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114553574","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
