The sample consisted of 60 undergraduate nursing\u0000students. The research instruments included the use of learning management\u0000plans based on the social cognitive theory with design-based research; and\u0000the health literacy of the nursing student’s scale. The data was analyzed\u0000utilizing descriptive statistics, Hotelling T2, and MANCOVA. The findings\u0000were: 1) the learning management processes to enhance the health literacy of\u0000nursing students by applying design-based research consisted of five steps:\u0000(i) learning and understanding of self and others, (ii) inquiry and exchange,\u0000(iii) consideration and decision making, (iv) modifying the actions, and (v)\u0000reflections and transfers; 2) The health literacy scores of nursing students in\u0000the experimental group after intervention were significantly higher than for\u0000the control group at a level of .05 and the health literacy scores of nursing\u0000students in the experimental group on the posttest after manipulation were\u0000significantly higher than for the control group at.05

The newborn baby haircut tradition in Islam is called\u0000Aqiqah and, in the Sasak language, refers to Ngurisan. This tradition has\u0000been practiced for years and continues to this day. This research analyzes the\u0000Sasak community's motivation in performing the coins-sowing tradition and\u0000explores the character-building values internalized in the coins-sowing\u0000practice. The method applied in this research is qualitative, using an\u0000ethnographic approach. The research result indicates that the primary\u0000motivation for the coins-sowing tradition is a form of gratitude to God the\u0000Creator because they are blessed with offspring. In such practice, the\u0000character-building values taught at an early age are hard work, sharing with\u0000others, and strengthening good relationships among the Sasak people. The\u0000combination of motivation and character-building values makes this coins-\u0000sowing tradition still practiced today.
