The target population was the employees of the Institute of Southern Punjab, Multan, Pakistan. The study was based on a correlational research design. 128 employees were sampled through a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by survey method through Perceived Organizational Support Scale (POSS) by Eisenberger, Huntington, Hutchison, and Sowa (1986) and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (Mowday, Steers, & Porter, 1979). Demographic variable job experience was measured as moderating variables between perceived organizational support and organizational commitment. The collected data was analyzed through Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 23). Correlation, regression, and moderation analysis were used to interpret data statistically. The results revealed a significant correlation between perceived organizational support and organizational commitment. The regression analysis indicated a significant impact of perceived organizational support on organizational commitment. The findings suggest a significant role of moderators (job experience) between organizational support and organizational commitment. Further study in organizational psychology would be recommended in the development of an encouraging and supportive workplace environment for employees.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"220 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124359855","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Training and development and three facets of organizational commitment are studied using a quantitative survey research design. Structured equation modelling using Smart PLS 3 was used to analyze 290 of 313 responses from public sector hospitals. Training and development, according to the findings, have a strong positive relationship with affective, normative, and continuance commitment. Some of these findings have ramifications for management and administrative staff of hospitals. They must first commit their nursing staff to the hospital in order to ensure the best quality services for their patients. Nurses respond with greater affective, normative, and continuance commitment when they believe a training programmed is designed to meet their professional developmental needs.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122842034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is even trickier in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) when they have hibernated from conventional to cyber universities due to the COVID pandemic. It is relatable to motivate and retain the knowledge workers persistently. Therefore, this study is designed to investigate the impact of academicians' spiritual motivation on their tacit knowledge sharing behaviour, with the moderation of COVID-induced occupational stress. The population embraced the academicians of Pakistani Higher Education Institutions. ~289 academicians were considered as the sample size. Descriptive and inferential statistics (linear regression) were performed in SPSS, whereas; 'Hayes' process macro' was used to test moderation. The findings designate that academicians' spiritual motivation is significantly and positively associated with tacit knowledge sharing behaviour—moreover, COVID-induced occupational stress moderates their relationship. Consequently, the results bequeath the policymakers and the relevant authorities of HEIs, with valuable propositions on how to upkeep academicians' tacit knowledge sharing behaviour by considering COVID-induced occupational stress as eu-stress if they are spiritually motivated. Profuse suggestions were also presented to future researchers to further look into the anticipated study model. ","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125379463","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Secondly, their experiences are analyzed under the situation when their skills are not appreciated by their boss to whom they perceive as incompetent. There are six in-depth interviews were conducted of employees working in private organizations in Lahore Pakistan. Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis is used to analyze transcriptions, and data analysis is performed in Nvivo 11. The finding of this study has drawn the following themes: emotions/feelings, actions, and coping strategies that are linked with social exchange theory. The social exchange process propagates the individual's emotions are aligned with norms and values of the organization, and the nature of this association engages employees with an organization on moral grounds, and this association prolongs when in return organizations treat their employees fairly. Lastly, the themes are also connected with the survival perspective because most of the coping strategies are reflecting how employees are adapting their practices according to the stressful situation, and how they are building their capacity to transform themselves according to the situation.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132077657","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The secondary data was gathered from the annual reports of the selected companies. For data analysis, regression analysis, descriptive statistics, and correlation are used. The study showed that the current ratio and creditor payment period have a significant negative effect on the return on assets (ROA) of the selected firms. In contrast, the quick ratio and inventory sales period have a significant positive impact on the ROA. Yet, the debtors' collection period has a significant negative impact on the ROA of the firms listed on PSE. As a result, it is advised that the textile industry in Pakistan should pay special attention to liquidity management in order to increase profitability.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125121276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
