The primary purpose of the search is to study the effect of the glass ceiling and leadership empowerment on women's work-life balance in the private sector in Saudi Arabia. A survey research design was employed, and a cross-sectional approach to data collection was used to achieve the primary objectives. Thus, data were collected from 54 selected female executives working in private enterprises in Saudi Arabia. Closed-ended questions-based Likert scales were employed to gather data from the research participants. The study uses Multiple regression to analyze the data collected using SPSS. Consequently, it was found that the empowerment of female leadership has a significant influence on the work-life balance of female leaders in the private sector of Saudi Arabia. On the other hand, the glass ceiling was not found to significantly impact the participants' work-life balance. Finally, it was concluded that attempts should be made to support female leaders as this will positively affect their work-life balance and consequently leads to better performance.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129034590","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Owners and administrators were given a preliminary survey questionnaire to fill out. While correlation looks at the link between factors, regression demonstrates the null hypothesis. Customer focus, competitor focus, cost focus, inter-functional coordination, service innovation, and market success were all examined using various techniques. Our research showed that when looking at combined industries, only the link between client focus and service innovation is supported, while the link between service innovation and market performance is not. There is evidence to support the hypotheses that service innovation boosts market performance in the telecommunications sector, and that a focus on competitors and costs contributes to a more creative environment. While service innovation does support market performance in the food and beverage business, it does not support the relationship between cost orientation and inter-functional coordination. Few empirical investigations have focused on service innovation like this one. More research is needed to determine how a company's strategic direction affects its ability to innovate its products, but the findings of this study are transferable to other service industries.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114677842","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The researcher used the Government of Ghana bonds issued in 2013 to 2017 and has not matured by 31st December 2019. A sample of 6 Government of Ghana bonds which have been on the secondary market for at least two years with a tenor of at least three years was used by the researcher. Based on the stationary and the existence on cointegration vectors, the study investigated long and short run effects using ARDL (1,0,1,1,1,1) and ARDL (1,2,2,2,2,2) Error Correction Models respectively. The E-Views version 11 was used to conduct the analysis. It was found that GDP had a long run insignificant positive effect on Ghana Government Bond Prices, but a short run significant positive effect on Ghana Government Bond Prices. The second major finding was that Exchange Rate had a significant positive effect on Ghana Government Bond Prices in the long run, but this significant effect was negative in the short run. Thirdly, it was revealed that inflation had a significant negative effect on Ghana Government Bond Prices both in the long and short run. Risk Free Rate of Return had a significant negative effect in the long run but had insignificant effect in the short run. Monetary Policy Rate had significant positive effects in the long and short run. It was concluded that increases in Exchange Rate, Gross Domestic Products and monetary policy led to corresponding increases in the prices of government bonds while increases in Inflation, and Risk Free Rate of Return led to a decrease in the prices of Government bonds. In the short run, an increase in Exchange Rate and Inflation leads to a decrease in bond prices while an increase GDP, Risk Free Rate of Return and Monetary Policy Rate leads to a corresponding increase in bond prices. It is recommended that investors consider inflation, GDP, exchange rate, Risk Free Return and Monetary Policy, among other factors, when making decisions on the position to take in a bond as it determines bond prices. Policymakers should aim at working to achieving low inflation and exchange rate figures as that will increase bond prices and make it more attractive to foreign investors. It is also important that policy makers understand and manage effectively risk free bonds and the monetary policy as they have significant effects on the prices of government bonds.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129674324","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this era of change and growth, leaders have the greatest impact on the success and long-term viability of all organizations and institutions, as well as the formation and maintenance of organizational culture (Robbins & Judge, 2012). Furthermore, the same holds true for educational institutions. Therefore, this study is interested in identifying the effect of leadership styles on employee performance, focusing on the mediating role of soft skills and the moderating role of organizational unfairness. A quantitative method was adopted, and the data of 184 teachers was collected by a higher educational institute. The study has used a cross-sectional research design by using the convenience sampling technique. SMART PLS version 22 data analysis reveals that transactional and transformational leadership styles have a significant positive relationship with employee performance via the mediating role of soft skills. Further organizational unfairness has negatively moderated the relationship between transactional and transformational leadership styles and employee performance. The present study is useful for building employee performance by employing various soft skills and leadership styles and reducing the environment of organizational unfairness. This research could pave the way to improving employee and management readiness to face the 4.0 education era. Limitations and future recommendations are discussed.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128886373","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
