This is an understanding of human culture via neural pathways.From theperspective of Indian contemplative practices, the elucidation of Self (I-ness) is firmly established. Recent developments in neuroscience have improved our knowledge of how the Self develops and how it interacts with the\u0000outside world. The development of human selvescan be explained in neural terms. The self-dissolution that is the main goal of the contemplative traditions can be comprehended from a neuro-scientific perspective.","PeriodicalId":432687,"journal":{"name":"Himalayan Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"306 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123143337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Ancient time, this practice was used to relieve pain but now it has become a therapy to treat other conditions. As an ancient practice, acupressure uses healing power of the body to treat itself by stimulating specific points. Different studies have found positive effects of acupressure in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), as it has been effectively used to procure regular menstrual frequency and normalize the androgen hormone levels. According to acupressure theory, an energy flow pattern is essential for health, when this energy flow is disturbed in body leads to diseases. These acupressure points are present on meridians and vital energy “qi” flows along it, though no anatomical and histological existence is available for such points. Present review briefly describes these points.","PeriodicalId":432687,"journal":{"name":"Himalayan Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122194425","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the feudal system society was organized as a pyramid of sorts. The clergy and nobles were at the top, with a great many peasants at the bottom. In the middle were the scientists, merchants, craftsmen and yeoman farmers. Certain aspects of the Middle Ages seem rather glamorous such as kings, queens, knights, and other rumors that surrounded the time period, but overall, the Middle Ages were not a fun and fancy-free type of time. Many fundamental ideas of western culture developed in this middle period. The Middle Ages produced many works that reveal the culture and thought of that age. William Langland’s Piers Plowman is one of the defining works of late medieval literature, as well as of the English canon. Piers the Plowman or The Vision of Piers the Plowman is an impressive allegory, deeply concerned with social, religious, ethical and economic problems of the time containing a profound consideration of the good life and of man’s religious vocation. The poem is a fine synthesis of social realism and religious vision.","PeriodicalId":432687,"journal":{"name":"Himalayan Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127109823","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The outputs show that there must be a long run relationship between patent registration and economic development. We can conclude out of this those innovations (patent) might be a very vital factor for economic development in China and India. It\u0000has also helped us to draw some policies’ recommendations.","PeriodicalId":432687,"journal":{"name":"Himalayan Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"81 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114593623","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
