The literature of Sanskrit language is very rich and vast all over the world and it would not be an exaggeration to say that all the traditions of ancient Indian knowledge and science are embedded in this language. To know or understand the language or its standard form properly, it is essential to have knowledge of the grammar of that language. Ashtadhyayi composed by Acharya Panini is the main grammar of Sanskrit language, under which about 4000 sutras have been composed. Talking about the structure of this grammar, its structure is similar to a programming language like a modern computer. In Sanskrit language, there are two types of words on the basis of grammar: verb and noun. The use of participles within the noun is very common in Sanskrit literature. The main objective of this particular research paper is to observe and present the characteristics of Tvayadi Kritya Suffixes in the context of Ravanarjuniyam epic on the basis of grammar under these participle terms.","PeriodicalId":432687,"journal":{"name":"Himalayan Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134289085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By the end of the 21st century, this increase could exceed 4°C. Water resources, agriculture, plant and animal life, and biodiversity are just a few of the areas where global warming may have unfavourable effects. Global climate change is predicted to have a potential impact on soil fertility through the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil due to rise in temperature, alteration in precipitation pattern, increase in green house gas concentration in the atmosphere, and other factors because soils are related to climate system in a very complex way through nutrient and hydrologic cycles.","PeriodicalId":432687,"journal":{"name":"Himalayan Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124102032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Government-owned natural forest habitats are the source of about 90% of medicinal and aromatic plants. More than 1642 species of prospective medicinal plants are documented in the state distributed in subtropical, temperate, sub-alpine, and alpine climatic zones. Nearly 700 species of medicinal plants are used in the traditional system of medicines in Uttarakhand. The total area under the state forest department is 24,415 sq. km, and the forest managed by local communities through Van Panchayat is 5449 sq. Km. Increasing demand for plant-based or herbal medicines has resulted in the huge depletion of such plants and has promoted the illegal trade and unsustainable harvesting of medicinal plants. Local and poor communities are dependent on these natural resources to meet their traditional healthcare system and livelihood. The medicinal plant wealth of the state has received significant attention and it has been mentioned even in mythological\u0000epics. In this chapter, we would discuss the role of Medicinal Plants Conservation Areas (MPCAs) as In-situ conservation methods and the importance of Nakshatra Vatika, Rashi Vatiaka, and Navgrah Vatika as methods of lesser-known conservation efforts of the medicinal plants for promoting awareness of conservation of medicinal plants.","PeriodicalId":432687,"journal":{"name":"Himalayan Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115380807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
