In this new era, scholars of Chinese history call for a new change in research methods. Philip C.C.Huang, a Chinese-American, puts forward the \"crisis of normative understanding\" and the \"four traps\" in the study of modern Chinese history. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the breakthrough of Philip C.C.Huang's theory of Chinese history research on the original model and its promotion of Chinese history research in the United States. Starting from Philip C.C.Huang's study of Chinese history, the article analyzes the transcendence of his theory to the previous dichotomy and tries to summarize the development trend of Chinese history research in the United States. It is found that Philip C.C.Huang's theory transcends the dichotomy of Chinese and Western concepts and breaks through the limitations of both theoretical and empirical research, and his Chinese-American identity as a \"marginalized person\" also provides evidence of the authenticity and objectivity of his theory, which, however, still needs to be further improved. This study identifies the core ideas and shortcomings of Huang's theory and helps to promote a more scientific and convincing study of American Chinese history.","PeriodicalId":431386,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Studies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129787922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study is descriptive research that includes all households in Kabul city as the statistical population. The sample size was determined based on Cochran's formula, resulting in 330 questionnaires being distributed, consisting of 155 women and 175 men who were randomly selected and participated in the research. The questionnaire consisted of two sections: demographic information about the family, including gender and socioeconomic status, and the Parenting Attitude Scale (PAS) questionnaire. After completion and data collection, the data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software. The findings of the research indicate that the mean and variance of parenting style scores, including authoritarianism, overprotectiveness, and permissiveness, are equal among fathers and mothers based on gender and family socioeconomic status, and no significant differences are observed in the scores. It can be concluded that parents in Kabul, regardless of gender or socioeconomic status, use all three parenting styles equally in raising their children.","PeriodicalId":431386,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Studies","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115161931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are usually embedded with covert and overt political ideologies that aim to affect others' political positions, stances and shape public opinions. The researcher tries to detect the ideologies and power relations manifested during a prewar on Iraq interview conducted on BBC with British Prime Minister Tony Blair. The researcher uses Wodak's (2015) critical discourse approach as a framework for the analysis with the aim of raising the awareness of the readers of the ideologies and power relations in such interviews. The results show the existence of a dynamic, powerful interaction as both sides use whatever power resources they have to dominate the interaction, exercising power and perpetuating their political ideologies.","PeriodicalId":431386,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Studies","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126707033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This marks China's efforts to play a proactive role in Afghanistan. The gradual withdrawal of NATO and US forces since 2014 has prompted China to adopt a new geopolitical approach towards the region. The new phase of Afghanistan-China relations has the potential to transform China from a mere observer into a constructive and intervening force in Afghanistan. This article aims to shed light on China's new diplomatic strategy in Afghanistan by examining its characteristics and implications. It is predicated on the belief that constructive engagement with Afghanistan will yield strategic, economic, and security benefits for China, which directly impact its national security risks and economic opportunities.","PeriodicalId":431386,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Studies","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114858971","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This work has stirred a heated debate among cinema critics and movies goers regarding Nejjar’s rebellious representation of women. The study of female identity in films directed by a Moroccan female filmmaker would certainly contribute to the understanding of the complex relationship between the filmmaker’s gender and the discourse they produce; films directed by women offer the opportunity to have women’s experiences, concerns, and aspirations reported by women, which helps the audience and critics alike find out how the filmmaker’s gender has an impact on femininity construction. This article tries to deconstruct women’s cinematic discourse and gauge the extent to which their films can be of help to the women’s emancipation project. No doubt, the cinematic work or the film is the manifestation of a cluster of elements such as politics, ideology, and gender that interplay to produce meaning or a certain reality. Amidst these variants, the content analysis seems to be a suitable method that can situate Nejjar’s film within the women’s filmmaking map. The paper adopts a feminist approach to test the extent to which Nejjar’s unconventional gender representation has served women’s cause. The paper concludes that Nejjar has tried to introduce a rebellious feminist perspective by tackling taboo issues and using obscene language. However, according to some critics, Nejjar’s film was not appreciated by a large segment of the Moroccan audience because it does not respect the local specificities of Moroccans. Moreover, the tragic fate of the two main characters, Aya and her mother, aligns with Carter's notion of women's defeatism in film endings (Carter: 2009, 309).","PeriodicalId":431386,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Studies","volume":"308 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132068652","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This crime may be of one gender, such as murder or theft, and a person may commit multiple crimes, such as stealing and drinking alcohol. This research looked at the opinions of the jurists in the penalties of such crimes. The research concluded that the jurists unanimously agreed that the criminal should not be punished if he committed several crimes of the same sex, except for one punishment only. For example, if the unmarried person commits the crimes of adultery and defamation, then one punishment is imposed on him, which is the punishment for adultery. The penalty of slander is included in it. If adultery is punished and then slandered after that, then the penalty of slander is applied to it as well. Overlapping means that the penalty for the lesser crime is included in the penalty for the major crime if they are committed together. In studying this subject, I followed the descriptive, analytical and comparative approach, where I explained the concept of overlap, its location, causes, and wording, the definition of punishment and its types, its wisdom and conditions, the penalties sections, the combination of crimes of one sex, the combination of crimes of different races, and how to fulfill multiple penalties, the principle Applications of multiple penalties with a statement of the sayings of the four schools of thought in each issue and a statement of the most correct of them.","PeriodicalId":431386,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Studies","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115317147","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, whenever a woman is forced to commit adultery, whether she is reluctant, complete or incomplete, according to the majority of jurists, considering the verse: {وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِتَبْتَغُوا عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَنْ يُكْرِهْهُنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِكْرَاهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ}. The Sharia (Hadd) does not apply to him. Because the verse of negating the sin of a woman who is forced to commit adultery, and when the sin is negated, the Sharia (Hadd) is ignored. However, if a man is forced to commit adultery, there is a different opinion among the jurists regarding the implementation of the Sharia (Hadd). According to the perspectives of Abu Hanifa's companions, Mukhtar and Mufti Imam Malik and apparently the opinion of Shafis’ ar, “a man who is forced to commit adultery” due to the pseudo-reluctance, the Sharia (Hadd) is not necessary.Most of the Malikis and Hanbalis believe that there is an incumbent of Sharia (Hadd) on abominable (Makrooh). Because intercourse does not take place without the penis being moved consciously. So, whenever the movement of the penis is seen, the reluctance is eliminated and the Sharia (Hadd) is obligatory. From Imam Abu Hanifa's point of view, there is a difference between the reluctance of a ruler (king) and a non-ruler. So there is no Sharia (Hadd) to ruler's reluctance; because he cannot get rid of the king by appealing to someone who is stronger than him. But by referring to the king, he can overcome the reluctance of others.","PeriodicalId":431386,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Studies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126876956","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It means that the purchaser has the right to sign the contract or rescind it upon seeing the thing contracted for if he did not see it at the creation of the contract or before it. Selling has become common among merchants without the buyer seeing the sold item in general, due to the development of types of sale and their holding between the followers of different countries and through modern means of communication, in which the buyer does not see the sale in most of its forms, except after moving from one store to another, and due to not seeing it, he can be able to do so. The type of sales is some deception, so the purchaser of absent objects needs to prove the option of seeing, in order to ward off the illusions of deception. A literature search was conducted using keywords such as \"medical staff\" and \"psychological capital,\" as well as \"medical students\" and \"psychological capital\" in databases including WOS, PubMed, Scopus, and CNKI. A total of 106 articles were retrieved, and after applying exclusion criteria, 22 English articles and 37 Chinese articles were included in the review. The findings of this study indicate that the majority of the research reviewed was empirical in nature. Psychological capital was measured using psychological capital scales, and its relationship with other variables, such as job satisfaction and perceived organizational support, was examined. The results consistently suggest that psychological capital plays a critical role in the career development of medical staff, particularly in areas such as academic performance, employment, and social support. Moreover, it was observed that the Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PPQ-26) was widely used in Chinese literature, while the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ-24) was more commonly used in English literature. These scales provided researchers with a valuable tool for measuring psychological capital among medical staff and assessing its impact on various aspects of their career development.","PeriodicalId":431386,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Studies","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122944324","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
