Utilization of solar thermal energy sources by maximizing solar heat radiation sources which are absorbed directly into the drying chamber in the form of a transparent house with ventilation holes for fresh air to enter and moist air to exit. This process will produce hot air circulation (convection) in the drying chamber continuously so that the process of evaporation of water from the material being dried is faster. The temperature of the hybrid dryer with a sun source without the test material was 56º C. In the hybrid dryer test with a biomass combustion power source without the test material, the maximum temperature was 46 º C with a stable temperature of 40 º C. In the hybrid dryer test with a solar power source with the material test with a drying rate for 6 hours of drying there was a reduction in the mass of areca nut by 19%. The performance of the hybrid drying machine is better when the temperature is controlled with a setting temperature of 60º C. The cover is designed to function to be sturdy from the impact of areca nuts and is cylindrical. The reservoir channel is designed to allow the peeled betel nut to enter the drain pipe and the blower is in charge of blowing between the peeled betel nut and the seeds. The blade is designed to peel the dry split betel nut. The drive clutch is designed to function as a connector/breaker for the engine rotation to the shaft and plain concrete iron and bearings as a v-belt retainer. In the test with a capacity of 50 kg 1 day drying, peeled 40 kg and unpeeled 10 kg with an average time of 15 minutes is the best test. Penerapan teknologi tepat guna untuk peningkatan kapasitas produksi sangat dibutuhkan oleh Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM). Dalam penelitian ini rancang bangun alat penggoreng rempeyek telah dibuat dengan menggunakan cetakan bulat yang memiliki 10 cetakan rempeyek dengan sistem pengungkit pegas yang dioperasikan secara manual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil penggorenggan memiliki diameter 90 mm dan ketebalan cetakan 2 mm dan berjumlah 10 buah keping dalam sekali proses penggorengan. Antara penyumbang kepada permasalahan ini adalah amalan penggunaan tenaga berlebihan terutamanya di sektor bangunan. Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu telah mengariskan 17 indikator Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan (SDG) dengan salah satunya adalah mengurangkan pembebasan karbon menjelang tahun 2030. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mereka bentuk, membangun dan menguji Sistem Smart ZEB bagi mewujudkan kelestarian pada bangunan konvensional kepada bangunan rendah karbon. Sistem ini mengetengahkan teknologi hijau melalui aplikasi internet of things (IoT) sebagai alat memantau dan mengawal di samping penggunaan peralatan jimat tenaga dan amalan penggunaan tenaga boleh diperbaharui. Dapatan kajian mendapati lebih 76% penjimatan tenaga dan pembebasan karbon dapat dilaksanakan dengan penjimatan sebanyak 0.6% bayaran utiliti di Politeknik Mersing. Ini secara tidak langsung dapat mengekalkan kelestarian bangunan konvensional kepada bangunan rendah karbon. Consumers certainly hope that the goods they buy will be able to meet their needs and desires so that consumers hope that the product has good and guaranteed conditions. Therefore, companies must see and maintain that the quality of the products produced is guaranteed and accepted by consumers and can compete in the market. This study is intended to analyze whether the resulting product is not in accordance with the specified product quality standards and analyze what factors cause product defects. The study was conducted at PT. KLX for 30 days as many as 6000 pipes taken chatter, step, burs defect data using statistical processing control (SPC). The results of this study conclude that based on the P-Chart analysis that has been carried out at PT KLX, there are 3 types of defects that occur in threaded pipe products, namely chatter defects, step defects, and burs defects. Keberadaan senyawa ini pada perairan hasil buangan limbah industri haruslah dimonitor dan dikontrol keberadaannya. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu sensor yang dapat digunakan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan senyawa ini didalam perairan. Elektroda karbon komersil merupakan material yang ramah lingkungan dan harganya relatif murah untuk dijadikan material sensor yang potensial, akan tetapi material ini memiliki aktivitas elektrokimia yang rendah dan bersifat hidrofobik. Untuk meningkatkan aktivitas elektrokimia elektroda karbon, maka modifikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan material CuS-Nafion dan CuS@rGO-Nafion yang disintesa melalui reaksi solvotermal dan di drop-casting pada permukaan elektroda karbon. Modifikasi berhasil dilakukan yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil scanning electron microscopy dimana memiliki respon yang tinggi terhadap senyawa hidrazina yang ditunjukkan dari hasil analisa cyclic voltammetry (CV). Hasil terbaik ditunjukkan oleh elektroda karbon yang dimodifikasi dengan menggunakan material CuS@rGO-Nafion. Minyak goreng bekas yang dibuang secara langsung ke lingkungan akan memberikan dampak buruk bagi kesehatan dan penurunan kualitas lingkungan hidup, oleh karena itu perlu adanya pemanfaatan minyak goreng bekas dengan cara pemurnian atau purifikasi sehingga minyak goreng bekas tersebut dapat digunakan kembali. Pada penelitian ini, digunakan minyak goreng bekas yang telah digunakan dengan lama pemanasan 3 jam, 5 jam, dan 7 jam. Minyak goreng bekas tersebut dimurnikan dengan menggunakan karbon aktif yang dibuat dari ampas tebu ukuran 100 mesh dengan variasi berat 2,5 gr, 5 gr, dan 7,5 gr, lama waktu perendaman 24 jam, 48 jam, dan 72 jam. Analisa yang digunakan adalah analisa kadar air, kadar asam lemak bebas (free fatty acid), dan angka penyabunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar air dan angka penyabunan menurun siring dengan lamanya waktu perendaman dan berat karbon aktif. Penanganan pascapanen cabai membantu petani dari kerugian serta dapat menjaga stabilitas harga di pasar. Penanganan pascapanen yang paling mudah dilakukan adalah pengeringan. Pada penelitian ini pengeringan cabai dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat pengering dengan sistem rotary. Alat pengering dirancang berupa drum yang berputar secara mekanik dengan penggerak motor listrik. Udara panas yang bersumber dari pembakaran LPG dilewatkan secara paksa melintasi drum dengan menggunakan blower. Pengeringan dilakukan selama 6 jam dengan kapasitas cabai merah segar sebanyak 3 kg pada temperatur 60 oC, 70 oC dan 80 oC. Pada pengeringan dengan temperatur 60 ˚C menghasilkan kadar air yang masih tinggi yaitu 18,2 % dengan susut bobot 80 %, tekstur cabai masih basah dan lembut dengan warna merah cerah. Salah satu contoh jenis limbah logam yang dapat dikelola adalah Aluminium seperti kemasan kaleng minuman bekas. Salah satu cara teknologi yang dapat dikembangkan untuk mengolah limbah Aluminium kemasan kaleng minuman bekas (soft drink) tersebut adalah dengan cara daur ulang. Metode yang bisa digunakan adalah dengan proses hidrolisis untuk menghasilkan gas hydrogen sebagai bahan bakar kompor. Proses hidrolisis dilakukan dengan mencampurkan Natrium Hidroksida, Alumunium, dan Air. analisa komposisi Aluminium, Air dan Natrium Hidroksida (NaOH) dilakukan untuk menghasilkan gas hidrogen secara maksimal dengan volume reaktor yang tetap. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan didapatkan volume gas H₂ yang terbentuk, tekanan dan temperatur tertinggi (130 l, 200 psi dan 100°C) dengan penggunaan reaktan maksimal yaitu alumunium dari limbah kaleng 400 g dan NaOH 4N.
