The experiment was conducted as 4 × 6 factorial in RCBD design with three replications in two years (2016-2017). Treatments included: use of plant growth-promoting bacteria in four levels (Non-inoculation, inoculation with Azotobacter crocococcus, Azospirillium methylpofrome, and Pseudomonas putida) and nano iron fertilizer in five levels (0.0 %, 0.5 %, 1.0 %, 1.5 %, and 2.0 %) and ordinary iron fertilizer on two levels (2.0 % and 0.0 %). Based on the results, the application of biofertilizer and Fe fertilizer had significant effects on all traits at 1.0 % or 5.0 % level. The results of the comparison of the mean of treatments showed that the highest chlorophyll a (0.806) was obtained by Azotobacter crocococcus + 0.5 % nano-Fe and the highest means of chlorophyll b and carotenoid with 0.275 mg g FW-1 and 0.224 (mg g FW-1) values, respectively, were observed by Pseudomonas putida + 0.5 % nano-Fe. The highest value of P (55.24), N (4.42) and Fe (84.43) were obtained by Pseudomonas putida + control Fe, Azotobacter crocococcus + 1 % nano-Fe and Pseudomonas putida + 1 % nano-Fe, respectively.","PeriodicalId":43096,"journal":{"name":"Revista Agrogeoambiental","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48424992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Studies have confirmed the anti-inflammatory activity of extracts of this plant, which can be attributed to the presence of lactones. Its use in Brazil has traditionally been substituted by the species Solidago chilensis, which demonstrates similar therapeutic activity but is more adapted to a tropical climate. It is known that S. chilensis can be used as a substitute for A. montana as they both contain similar active compounds. We acquired eight different commercial brands of “arnica” sold in Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil, in 2013. The analyses of these products were divided into four categories: labeling, macroscopic, microscopic, and microchemical analysis. Labeling analysis followed RDCs (“Resolução de Diretoria Colegiada”) standards (10/2010 through 26/2014). The morphological analyses were performed using microscopic techniques and were followed by microchemical analyses. Our results indicated that none of the samples were in complete conformity with labeling standards, the material was poorly conserved, contaminants were abundantly present, the species were incorrectly identified, and the directions of use were inadequate and potentially dangerous to human health.","PeriodicalId":43096,"journal":{"name":"Revista Agrogeoambiental","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48517253","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this work was to evaluate the efficiency of urea sources, with or without urease inhibitor, in sidedress fertilization of commercial single-cross in off-season in Sinop/MT. The experimental design was completely randomized blocks, in factorial scheme 3 x 5, with 3 replications. The first factorwas three side-dress fertilization: witness (without fertilizer); fertilization with 250 kg ha-1 of urea and fertilization with 250 kg ha-1 of urea in the presence of urease inhibitor (UREMAX®) NBPT. The second factor was five single-crosses: 2B433, DKB255, DKB335, NS45, and SYN522. Vegetative development and yield characteristics were evaluated. The Nitrogen sources did not affect the plant height, stem diameter, and foliar area index, only the chlorophyll content in the leaves. For the yield components, there is an effect of fertilization on the number of grain rows and grain yield. The singlecrosses differ among them in vegetative development and yield characteristics. The Nitrogen in sidedress, in the conditions of this study, using the urea with urease inhibitor, increased the fertilization efficiency and raised the grain yield. The single-crosses DKB 255, 2B433, and SYN 522, with the treatment based on UREMAX®, reached the highest yield.","PeriodicalId":43096,"journal":{"name":"Revista Agrogeoambiental","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47349387","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In view of the problem about contamination and gaps in efficient disinfection protocols, the present study aimed to evaluate the inhibition of the fungus Colletotrichum. lindemuthianum in the presence of the potassium sorbate food preservative at different concentrations (0 g L-1; 0.076 g. L-1; 0.15 g. L-1; 0.30 g. L-1; 0.45 g. L-1; 0.60 g. L-1 and 0.75 g. L-1). The analyses of the Percentage of Micelal Growth Inhibition (ICP) and the growth at 24 and 72 hours at different concentrations were quantified. It was observed that Potassium Sorbate was effective in the analysis of ICP at different concentrations in relation to control, with greater effectiveness for T4 to T7. The highest percentages of inhibition (T5 to T7) presenting an inhibition rate of mean mycelial growth of 17.5 % in relation to the control for the 72h period, indicating, therefore, that with further studies this preservative can be used to combat fungal microorganisms in vitro culture.","PeriodicalId":43096,"journal":{"name":"Revista Agrogeoambiental","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48931903","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The procedures were performed in the ArcGIS® computer program. First, the study defined the limits of the subbasin, and then obtained the features of land use and occupation for the state of Espirito Santo from two mappings, from 2007 to 2008, and from 2012 to 2015. These features were edited, defining the classes of use and occupation only for the subbasin. They were identified, quantified, and mapped. There is a predominance of pasture, with percentages above 50 %, although this occupation decreased by 1.94 % between the periods studied. Coffee growing, the third predominant class, also decreased, which can be attributed to the preference for other activities, such as eucalyptus forestry. This showed strong growth, although with even lower percentages. Mishandling of those areas can cause environmental and economic damage. However, the areas of native vegetation represented a minimal rate, even with an increase, due to the decrease of vegetation in the early stage of regeneration. Macega (wild vegetation) coverage, besides being close to the native vegetation and which was predominantly fragmented, indicates problems with the use and occupation planning. The action of the local riverbasin committee and public managers, besides environmental education, and correct management of rural activities, are necessary actions.","PeriodicalId":43096,"journal":{"name":"Revista Agrogeoambiental","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42775491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To provide insight on this phenomenon, a double split plot based on RCBD with 3 replications were laid out to evaluate the effects spraying solution of nanoparticles magnesium (Mg) and iron (Fe); 0.0 %, 1.0 %, and 2.0 % at flowering and tuber filling stages) and planting data (October 5, 2019 and October 25, 2019) on bioelements, protein nitrogen, and nitrates contents of Sante potato tubers in a cold desert climate (Kerman, Iran). Considering the control group, the use of different dosages of nanofertilizers resulted in a significant increase in the bioelements and pH contents. Besides effects of area and time of planting, their two and three effects on tuber chlorophyll contents were reported significant. The highest protein and nitrogen portion of the potato tubers were related to spraying solution of Mg (1.0 %) + Fe (2.0 %) nanofertilizers. Increasing nanofertilizers supplementation reduced the nitrate content of potato tubers. The results indicated that the application of nanofertilizers significantly increased the carotenoid portion of the potato tubers. The interaction effects of nanofertilizers and planting data on chlorophyll index and calcium levels of potato tubers were completely significant. Our analysis corroborated that application nanofertilizers by spraying during flowering and tuber filling stages enhances potato productivity and quality by improving bioelements or resulting in favorable physiological outcomes and is recommended to farmers.","PeriodicalId":43096,"journal":{"name":"Revista Agrogeoambiental","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47582032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this work was to evaluate the management of fungicides with sequential applications to control Asian soybean rust. The experimental design used was a randomized block with four replications and eight treatments with different combinations of fungicides from the following chemical groups: triazole, strobilurin, carboxamide, and dithiocarbamate. The applications were carried out with backpack spray equipment at constant pressure (CO2) and a spray rate of 200 L ha-1. The severity of rust, the area under the disease progress curve, control efficiency, mass of 1,000 grains, and productivity were evaluated. The protective fungicide mancozeb, in mixtures with systemic fungicides, were more effective for the control of Asian soybean rust than the systemic fungicides applied without the protective fungicide.","PeriodicalId":43096,"journal":{"name":"Revista Agrogeoambiental","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46142940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This allows this system to integrate with other activities such as the dairy industry, taking advantage of the milk by-product, reducing the environmental liability for disposal in the environment. Therefore, the objective was to evaluate the growth and productivity of rice grains under different doses of acid milk serum (0 m3 ha-1, 5 m3 ha-1, 10 m3 ha-1, 20 m3 ha-1, 50 m3 ha-1, 100 m3 ha-1, and 150 m3 ha-1), in soil applications with monitoring of fertility and electrical conductivity levels. The rice was sown in the UFLA experimental field, using the BRSMG Esmeralda lineage. Seven different doses were used, divided into two applications via soil. No cover fertilization was carried out. Yield and crop growth variables were determined by monitoring the nutrient content in the soil profile and the sodification and salinization capacity of the residue. It was found that the increase in serum doses increased the electrical conductivity and the percentage of exchangeable sodium by 1.75 and 7.75 compared to the control, but did not cause the process of sodification and salinization of the soil. As acid milk serum is a significant source of potassium, its use in the soil did not promote significant grain yield. It was concluded that the acid milk serum in the doses used did not cause sodification or salinization of the soil. This residue is the safe dose that can be used as potassium and nitrogen. The acid milk serum in the tested conditions did not increase the growth of the culture.","PeriodicalId":43096,"journal":{"name":"Revista Agrogeoambiental","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46130580","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this sense, this study was based on the evaluation of fragmentation on araneofauna of semideciduous seasonal forest fragments, phytophysiognomy belonging to the Atlantic Forest. The study was conducted in three fragments in the municipality of Inconfidentes, southern Minas Gerais, from April 2014 to March 2015. The results showed that there is a similarity in the composition of spider species among the sampled fragments and that the size of the fragment is positively correlated with species richness. Our data show that smaller fragments must be preserved and that agricultural areas maintain the integrity of adjacent forest areas to benefit from the predation dynamics that spiders exert on pests that affect plantations.","PeriodicalId":43096,"journal":{"name":"Revista Agrogeoambiental","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46735831","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
