With the conversion of agricultural land functions, it can threaten the food security of the population in the region. This study aims to: (1) Find out about land conversion in Gondangejo District in 2011–2020. (2) Knowing the level of food security of the population in Gondangrejo District. (3) Evaluating the impact of land conversion on the food security of the population in Gondangrejo District in 2020. This research uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation and data collection. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study are (1) Interpretation of remote sensing imagery in 2011, 2015, and 2020 shows the results of the conversion of agricultural land in Gondangrejo District, where the use of paddy fields in 2011 was 4,037.71 ha or around 66.5% to 1,903, 90 ha or around 31.04% of the total area of land use in Gondangrejo District, so that the conversion of paddy fields that occurred was 2,133.81 ha or around 52.85%. (2) The average population food security for Gondangrejo District is food security. Because there is a surplus value of food availability of 1,323.76 tons or 15.28% of the value of 100% food needs. (3) The impact of changing the function of paddy fields causes a decrease in rice production by an average of 694.91 tons/year. However, the food security of the population is maintained despite land conversion. In 2022, until September, Wanareja District will experience four floods. Utilization of remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) can be used to determine the level of vulnerability to flood disasters. This study aims to process the parameters that cause flooding and create a flood hazard map using Geographic Information System (GIS) aplikasi. The method used is scoring, weighting, and overlaying the parameters that cause flooding, namely land use, rainfall, slope, altitude, soil type, and river buffer which are processed using the ArcGIS 10.8 application. The results of this study are in the form of a flood vulnerability map which shows that Wanareja District has three levels of flood vulnerability, namely safe, low, and moderate. This study aims to analyze the social and economic vulnerability of the flood disaster in Sutojayan Village, Blitar Regency. Data on social vulnerability is seen from gender, age, rural/urban, education, disability, transportation, and number of households, and economic vulnerability is seen from unemployment and livelihoods. This study uses a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods with data obtained through interviews of 5 subjects, a questionnaire of 335 people, and documentation using population data of 7048 people. Data analysis techniques to measure social and economic vulnerability using multiple linear regression and SoVI techniques with the help of CFA. The results showed that: (1) The level of social and economic vulnerability in the post-flood disaster was influenced by indicators: gender, age, education, disability, transportation, and livelihood, and (2) The level of social and economic vulnerability in the post-flood disaster was in the high and medium categories. The proportion of Public Green Open Space is 20% of the total area. Public Green Open Spaces are utilized by the general public with various activities. The area studied in this study is Sukoharjo District, with the research objectives (1) to determine changes in land use in 2005 and 2019, (2) to determine the availability and adequacy of Public Open Space in Sukoharjo District, (3) to determine patterns of utilization of Public Open Space in Sukoharjo District. The research uses descriptive qualitative analysis with observation and documentation methods with overlay data analysis techniques and Iconos image analysis. The population in this research is Public Green Open Space with purposive sampling technique. The results of the study show that there have been changes in land use in 2005 and 2019 for each land use, the availability and adequacy of public green open space in Sukoharjo District is only 1.1% of the total area, so it is still insufficient to meet the stated public green open space needs. This study employs a pre-experiment design with a one-group pretest and post-test method. The results of this study showed that basic knowledge related to first aid competence received a score of 80% for 24 volunteers, while the smallest percentage was for those who received a good score of 6.67% for 2 volunteers, and the rest were respondents who received a poor score of 13.33% for 4 volunteers. Other results, showed an increase in competence after the first aid training was carried out, the percentage of respondents with good scores reached 93.33%, for 28 respondents; and there was an increase in self-awareness after the first aid training was carried out, the percentage of respondents with good scores reached 86.66% for 26 respondents. Based on the results of the paired t-test, we obtained a p-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that there was an effect of increasing first aid competence on the self-awareness of disaster volunteers in Dayu Village, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency. Furthermore, the strategies for increasing self-awareness can be carried out with training to increase competence that can influence controlling impulses, the ability to understand oneself, and the ability to be optimistic which can increase self-awareness. The study used quantitative methods, as well as sampling using purposive sampling techniques with family preparedness scale measurement tools, factors that affect family preparedness levels and observation sheets of facilities and infrastructure. The study subjects were people living in the village of Condongcatur and their analytical techniques using multiple regression analysis and using the help of the SPSS 23.00 for windowa computer program. The results of multiple regression analysis obtained knowledge variables about earthquakes with a calculated value 4,295, variable emergency response plan value tcalculate 2,416, variabel disaster warning system value tcalculated 3,065 and variable of resource mobility value tcalculated 7,280 with significance value 0,000 < 0,05 which means it can be concuded that preparedness in the village of Condongcatur against the threat of earthquakes in the category of ready and factores that affect preparedness in the village of Condongcatur against the threat of earthquake disaster in the category of very ready, as well as observation of facilities and infrastructure for the threat of earthquake disaster in the village of Condongcatur in the high category. This is because Indonesia is a country with a high level of natural disasters because it is at the confluence of various earth plates. Meanwhile school is the second place for students to seek and gain knowledge after being at home, especially in studying potential disasters that can occur in the environment where they live. It should be noted that in 2006 an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 occurred in Bantul Regency which resulted in fatalities and heavy losses, including educational facilities. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of BPBD Bantul Regency in disaster management in schools so far and to know and see how the Disaster Safe Education Unit program in Bantul Regency is running. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained are that the BPBD within the scope of the school plays a role in educating children to have a more disaster preparedness attitude, helping facilitate school needs, and introducing disaster education from an early age. The SPAB program is carried out to build resilience in dealing with disasters by school members, one of whose efforts is to provide material about disasters. The purpose of this study is to provide students with an understanding of the causes of natural disasters, how to respond appropriately so as not to harm the community when natural disasters occur as part of preventive measures through the provision of information services. The research results obtained from interviews with BKPI students in semester 5 include their self-understanding of natural disaster situations that have not been able to be handled properly. This cause becomes a joint evaluation of the community, students, and the local government to prioritize the provision of disaster preparedness information services.
