The women's handball team of 20 sportswomen underwent a pre-test, and after six weeks, they were evaluated by the post-test. The results showed some differences (p <0.05) in the stress recovery scales included in the Athlete Stress Recovery Questionnaire and Heart Rate Variables (HRV). The results of the Cooper test, the YYIRT2 test and the VRC test showed no significant differences between pre- and post-test. The mean square of the successive differences had large variations in the performance test and the questionnaire. In the final evaluation there were some discrepancies between some variables that we will take into account in the training of handball players.","PeriodicalId":430591,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Life Sciences","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114572668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to reduce the development of Alternaria fungi and to reduce their harmfulness, it is important to use biological preparations on the base of the microorganisms for plant protection. The aim of the research is to select strains of Trichoderma sp. fungi promising to control alternariosis in plants crops. The antagonistic activity of the mycelial culture of Trichoderma towards Alternaria was studied by dual culture method. The antifungal activity of the culture liquid was evaluated by agar diffusion method. The culture liquids containing metabolites of three strains, inhibited the growth of the pathogen by forming inhibition zones with a radius of 13-16 mm. Germination of wheat seeds on infectious background of soil contamination with the pathogen A.alternata identified micromycetes to create a biological product against alternariosis. Biological effectiveness of isolates 2N and 13N used for seeds protection against Alternaria is 87.3% and 83.6%, respectively.","PeriodicalId":430591,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Life Sciences","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125533928","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

International sports forums have tried to stop the spread of this scourge, to no avail. Educational programs, tests and medical treatment are expected to reduce substance abuse. New, more powerful and undetectable anti-doping techniques and substances are being abused by professional athletes, and drugs are being distributed through various sophisticated networks. Professional athletes are often role models for adolescents, young people and adults and their behaviours are imitated, including drug abuse. The reanalysis of doping in international sports will be oriented towards better information of the psychiatric specialists and towards an urgent intervention in the treatment of the addiction of substances in sports.","PeriodicalId":430591,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Life Sciences","volume":"69 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128691424","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Under standard soil conditions the LDPE biodegradation was relatively slow, implying the possibility of long-term negative environmental impacts from soil pollution by LDPE. It was observed that the biodegradation rates could be substantially improved by adding glucose into the soil (0,5%). LDPE biodegradation rates depended on the soil type and on the presence or absence of increased environmental stress for the soil microbial biomass. The highest biodegradation rate was observed in the case of a virgin forest soil sampled from the Orhei region: on day 41 after adding glucose into the soil with introduced LDPE the soil microbial biomass was 6.1% higher than in the control without LDPE, while the extent of LDPE degradation reached 2.3%.","PeriodicalId":430591,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Life Sciences","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132557465","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The highest number of individuals was recorded at the end of September, as well as in the middle of hibernation period, and the lowest number was registered in April, after the end of hibernation period. The diversity of species was rather high, being registered 7-9 species in various periods. The structure of bat community was different depending on the season and year of study. Between 2013-2020 the dominant species was Eptesicus serotinus, while in 2021-2022 – Rhinolophus hipposideros. For the whole study period, the most numerous bats were E. serotinus and R. hipposideros that constituted more than 73% of bat community, followed by Myotis daubentonii with about 10% and M. blythii with 7%, other species registered a lower percent, including the critically endangered species Barbastella barbastellus (4%). The dynamics of endangered species Myotis dasycneme showed a negative trend. At the end of June 2022 for the first time, a maternity colony of about 200 pregnant R. hipposideros females was registered. All species recorded in Saharna mines are protected at national and European level. The abandoned stone mines from Saharna represent one of the most important roost for bat hibernation and reproduction.","PeriodicalId":430591,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Life Sciences","volume":"315 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134521924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was noticed that only fish ponds, provided with combined food for fish, create optimal conditions for the reproduction and development of the offspring of the species. In fish habitats, where the ducks are provided with food and the energy effort is directed to reproduction, some clutches number up to 11-12 eggs and the offspring constitute an average of 7 ducklings per female. At the age of 4-5 weeks, an average of 5.3 ducklings per female survive, compared to 4.2 ducklings per female in the Prut wet habitats. The presence of food somehow reduces the competition between individuals and allows the colonization of small and shallow waters.","PeriodicalId":430591,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Life Sciences","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114595006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The legislature sought to identify the distinct areas of debate involved in the issue and to discuss the central issue raised by many of the proposals on the rights of the unborn. Lately, we have enough scientific medical evidence from a human rights perspective regarding safe abortions. However, there are enough abortions and deaths. Almost all cases can be prevented through sex education, family planning, and medical-assisted abortion. In developed countries, safe abortion is legal and can be on-demand or social and economic. In other states, abortion is restricted or prohibited by law. Procedures and good abortion practices for the protection of women's health are in the attention of medical professionals and lawyers.","PeriodicalId":430591,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Life Sciences","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130841923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
