Calcium and oxalate combine to create the majority of these crystals. These kidney stones pass via the urinary system to leave the body. Most stones may not certainly cause any symptoms or signs until they start moving toward the ureter. For detecting kidney stones twinkling artifact in Color Doppler Ultrasonography (CDU) is a useful sensitive instrument. The twinkling artifact's effect is highly dependent on machine settings and is probably created by phase (or clock) jitter. When illuminating specific rough reflecting surfaces during color Doppler imaging, this phenomenon is frequently seen. It appears as a distinct point of alternating colors that may or may not have a comet tail associated with it. Aim of the Study: The aim of the study was to detect renal calculous twinkling artifacts in color Doppler ultrasonography. Methods: This prospective clinical study was conducted at the Department of Radiology and Imaging in BIRDEM General Hospital, Dhaka, to detect the twinkling artifact in color Doppler ultrasonogram in the defection of renal calculus. The study period was one year, starting from 1st July 2013 to 30th June 2014. A total number of 59 clinically suspected subjects were selected by purposive sampling method. A consecutive selection method was followed for the selection of the participants. Result: This study was detected for the twinkling artifact in color Doppler ultrasonography. All the subjects were selected for the study by purposive sampling method. The findings derived from the data analysis are presented as tabular or figure format where necessary. Out of the total 54 patients, 35 (64.82%) were male and 19 (35.18%) were female. The mean age of the patients was (SD) ± 13.42 years their age ranged from 31 to 64 years. Diagnostic accuracy of Doppler twinkling artifact was found to be 95.83% with specificity, sensitivity, positive predictive value, ...........","PeriodicalId":429686,"journal":{"name":"EAS Journal of Radiology and Imaging Technology","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121039992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The CT scan is the best technique, which allows the positive diagnosis by the presence of gases in the renal parenchyma, in the collecting system or in the peri- renal spaces. Appendicitis can develops serious when it rupture. Perforation is additional common problem in many aged patients. Aim: The goal of study was to classify diagnosis of appendicitis on sonography and its correlation with age. Methodology: Cross-sectional study was directed on a group of patients who had appendicectomy at the same time. All data was summarised, including the patients age, sex, clinical findings, and ultrasound findings. Across-sectional assessment of 98 patients under age of 35 who required a physical exam and ultrasound findings was conducted. Individuals of various ages were divided into groups. Demography, clinical presentation, and diagnosis were compared between the groups. The diagnosis was made through clinical examination followed by ultrasonography. Different age groups are compared to ultrasonography findings. Results: During study, total number of patients were 98 under the age of 35 years with suspected appendicitis, 42males and 56 females. Appendix found in 74indiviuals, 47females and 27 males. Of all indiviualss, 74 were diagnosed by medical valuation and ultrasound findings. By performing ultrasound it has been evaluated that all patients had appendicitis. From total, 47 were females and 27 were male patients. Appendix was found in total 74 cases with associated other signs of tenderness. According to gender females were found more positive results of disease than males. Out of 98 patients 47 females with ultrasound positive results and 27males were with ultrasound positive results. To find out the relationship between age groups, gender and appendicitis results we applied chi square test. Output pf chi square test for age show that there is same relationship exist between different age groups and appendicitis result. It has three layers Endometrium, myometrium and perimetrium. Aim: To determine the sonographic size of normal uterus in pre and post-menopausal women and its correlation with BMI. Material And Method: This study consists of 150 women (115 parous &35 nulliparous) had sonography with abdominal and /or pelvic problem non-relating to uterus in both parous and nulliparous women. Uterine measurements are assessed and associated with age, height, and weight and correlated with pre and post-menopausal women. Results: The result showed that the size of uterus (length×width×height) from 11to 30 years is (7 ×3 ×4), from 31 to 40 is (7× 4 × 5), from 41 to 50 years is (7×4 × 5), and from 50 to 6o years is (7 × 3 ×4). From 60 to 90 year’s uterus length decreases. In 60 to 70 years is (6.1 × 2 ×2), from 71 to 80 years is (4 ×3×2) from 81 to 90 years is (5 × 2 × 3). In my study there was insignificant correlation of uterus dimensions with BMI. Conclusion: On the beginning of the current work next inference was strained. The uterine length rises with rise in age in from 11 to 60 years and reduction in 61 to 90 years’ age. Negative correlation between uterine length and BMI.
