Tapered ridge and ellipse-shaped copper tapes are employed to achieve wide bandwidth and good transition from the narrow horn throat to free space. Simulation results indicate that the proposed antenna can cover the operating frequency from 3.3 – 18.2 GHz and simultaneously maintain the antenna height of 5.508 mm. Good end-fire radiations are achieved within the whole operation band. Measurement results are in accordance with simulation ones.","PeriodicalId":428997,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Workshop on Electromagnetics: Applications and Student Innovation Competition (iWEM)","volume":"156 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115269786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fe304 nanoparticles were first synthesized by hydrothermal method. Then, the Fe<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf>@SiO<inf>2</inf>@ phenolic resin nanochains (Fe<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf>@SiO<inf>2</inf>@PF) were prepared through a modified Stöber method and the in-situ polymerization. Finally, after carbonization of the Fe<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf>@SiO<inf>2</inf>@PF nanochains, MnO<inf>2</inf> nanosheets were grown on the surface of nanochains to obtain FSCMN. Investigations of the microwave absorbing property indicate that paraffin-based composites loaded with 30 wt% FSCMN, when the thickness is 2.4 mm, possess a minimum reflection loss (RL) of −45.0 dB (12.6 GHz) and an effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of 2.79 GHz. Considering the excellent performance of as-fabricated FSCMN, we believe the FSCMN with flower-like surface can be a promising candidate as highly effective microwave absorbption material.","PeriodicalId":428997,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Workshop on Electromagnetics: Applications and Student Innovation Competition (iWEM)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134538242","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The FTA is composed of a planar metasurface-based transmitarray, a planar reflectarray and five small planar identical feeders. Both transmitarray and reflectarray are able to twist the polarization of the incoming electromagnetic (EM) waves 90° while the transmitarray could also provide transmission compensation phase at the same time. A FTA example is designed and simulated. The results successfully demonstrate the multibeam functionality, with appropriate aperture efficiency and impedance bandwidth.","PeriodicalId":428997,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Workshop on Electromagnetics: Applications and Student Innovation Competition (iWEM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128530974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because it don't need to modify the target device and even can be measured at distance. But in the real scenarios, only those interesting points relevant to the target intermediate value is helpful to recover the secret key. In this paper, we proposed a novel method based on genetic algorithm to select the interesting points, and the hamming distance between S-Box input and S-Box output in first round is chosen as the target intermediate value. We perform our experiment on Sakura-G board against AES-128 algorithm. Our experiment result shows our method is more effective which decreases about 9.1% in trace number than traditional CEMA for AES crypto algorithm to recover the secret key.","PeriodicalId":428997,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Workshop on Electromagnetics: Applications and Student Innovation Competition (iWEM)","volume":"2006 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128230856","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The implant transmitting antenna has a monopole-helix structure with unequal pitch angle, and a flexible magnetic sheet is used as substrate to realize antenna miniaturization. The receiving antenna has a planar monopole-spiral structure with two stacked layers of FR-4. The proposed implant antenna is fabricated and evaluated by the receiving antenna in a muscle-equivalent phantom. Measured −10 dB impedance bandwidth is 22.43-23.48 MHz and 43.08-48.46 MHz at two resonant frequencies of 22.8 MHz and 45.6 MHz, respectively. Simulation and measurement results demonstrate that the proposed dual-band antenna system is stable and suitable for high-speed implant transmission at MHz-band.","PeriodicalId":428997,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Workshop on Electromagnetics: Applications and Student Innovation Competition (iWEM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131250808","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
