In this situation, multi-modes may occur in the cavity, few researchers consider the effect of high-order mode on microwave heating, and many literatures only studied the TE10 mode. By considering the high-order mode (TE20) during microwave heating, a computer model is developed to predict the time-dependent temperature distributions of matter by COMSOL Multiphysics software in this paper, and the effect of TE20 mode on the temperature predictions of matter is simulated. The temperature profile, the coefficient of variation (COV) of temperature and temperature-field of the cross-sectional are obtained in this paper. The results show that the mean temperature of the model with considering the TE20 mode is higher than that in the model without the TE20 mode after 20 seconds heating.","PeriodicalId":428997,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Workshop on Electromagnetics: Applications and Student Innovation Competition (iWEM)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123408310","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work, DRGW power divider and DRGW 90 degrees − 3dB coupler are regarded as the basic elements, and they are designed by DRGW according to the schematic diagram. By simulation, the six-port network is designed to operate at 40 GHz with the fractional bandwidth of 8.5%, and performance indicators of phase and amplitude between different ports are satisfied with design requirements.","PeriodicalId":428997,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Workshop on Electromagnetics: Applications and Student Innovation Competition (iWEM)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131729124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The center frequency of the BSF is continuously tunable by changing the voltage of the varactor diodes that loaded at the end of resonators. The experimental result shows it has the in-band suppression level of larger than 30 dB and out-of-band insertion loss of smaller than 1.3 dB. Six similar tunable BSFs with different sizes are designed and controlled by the programmable SP6T switch to obtain wider frequency tunable range of 1-6-GHz.","PeriodicalId":428997,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Workshop on Electromagnetics: Applications and Student Innovation Competition (iWEM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127969432","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some mechanisms of bio-macromolecule interaction in PCR reactions appear as a cluster during DNA amplification. There are many possible dynamic processes. Aiming at the problem that the DNA amplification process is difficult to be completely characterized by existing experimental methods, the mathematical model of DNA amplification process is proposed and a band describing the PCR process is established and a nonlinear hybrid system with parameters is given.
