For the operation and charging of such vehicles, it is necessary to design a minimal network of overhead lines. The standard formulation of this problem requires to have a road network digraph and vehicle schedules available. It is assumed that overhead contact lines have not yet been built on road segments and it is possible to build such lines everywhere. However, there can be already built segments of overhead lines in many cities. Moreover, local conditions may cause the impossibility to build overhead contact lines on some road segments. Therefore, in this article, we will present a linear model of the problem that takes into account the mentioned requirements.","PeriodicalId":427652,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 25th International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems (INES)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123452391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Today, many kinds of sensor systems can be used to send data to the internet from a multitude of environments, and the collected data can be processed with algorithms to find anomalies. This paper presents a prototype for measuring ambient room temperature and water pipe temperatures. As an example case, this paper shows how the wireless temperature measurement prototype can be used to detect water flow within the pipes. The flow detection could be used, for example, for finding faults in water applications and devices. This papers describes the basic operating principle for the prototype, the initial findings, challenges and future directions, and introduces a technical solution for executing the prototype software within an NB-IoT module without the need to utilize a separate microcontroller or small computer.","PeriodicalId":427652,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 25th International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems (INES)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125868055","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, Machine Learning algorithms require preprocessing, i.e., data cleaning, which is time consuming and requires domain-specific knowledge. Formalized knowledge bases capture such domain-specific knowledge in a computer-interpretable way and have the potential to reduce manual efforts for this process. This paper presents a framework for semantic preprocessing, which is evaluated at the example of an industrial use case from the semiconductor industry.","PeriodicalId":427652,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 25th International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems (INES)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129963011","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Insulin therapy is often applied in ICUs to normalize the patient’s blood glucose level. This treatment method is generally referred to as Tight Glycaemic Control (TGC).The most widely used TGC protocol is the STAR (Stochastic-TARgeted) protocol, which uses the patient’s insulin sensitivity (SI) as a key parameter to describe the patient’s actual state. STAR protocol uses the clinically validated ICING model to describe the human metabolic system and a stochastic model to predict the patient’s future SI values.In this paper, the evaluation of two new, artificial neural network based SI prediction methods is presented. The models were trained on a dataset collected during the STAR treatment. The models were evaluated by using a so-called in-silico validation, simulating the clinical interventions on virtual patients created from historical treatment data. The results proved that the new models could be applied in the SI prediction. The prediction accuracy was the same or even better in some aspects than the currently used model. The methods also support higher dimensional SI prediction, which is the field of recent research and resulted in improved personalized treatment based on the evaluation presented.","PeriodicalId":427652,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 25th International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems (INES)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128918222","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Paper discusses a nonlinear trajectory control method of a recently proposed spherical underwater surveillance robot (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle AUV) of 45 kg weight class with strongly underactuated control and highly nonlinear model of dynamics. Paper offers and simulates in Simulink/MATLAB environment a specially designed nonlinear controller that is capable to assure reliable movement of this AUV in two-dimensional space towards desired target as well motion at desired heading angle. The proposed controller is easy for engineering implementation. It is concluded that this type of surveillance robots may be used for monitoring of water areas of Smart City ports.","PeriodicalId":427652,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 25th International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems (INES)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129009016","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These devices allow athletes to capture many indicators of sport training, e.g. location of training, duration of training, distance of training, consumption of calories. Until recently, not enough devotion was given to those indicators that are not visible directly, but can be obtained as the result of extensive data analysis, e.g. information extracted from topographic maps, weather conditions, and interval data. In line with this, the present paper is dedicated to describing the new toolbox for extracting features hidden in sports activity files. The results of the extraction serve as entry points for deep data analysis, that allows us to build intelligent systems for training support.","PeriodicalId":427652,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 25th International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems (INES)","volume":"298 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132185580","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
