This excellent coding efficiency is performed through an exhaustive algorithm for mode decision that requires a huge computational complexity. To accelerate the encoding process, fast motion estimation (ME) algorithms are proposed in this paper. Firstly, according to statistical results of the motion vector difference prediction distribution, an adaptive search range selection algorithm based on a depth level is presented. In addition, several motion estimation search patterns were designed to reduce the calculation redundancy of motion estimation process. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm schemes can save the ME time up to 88% while upholding almost the same rate-distortion performances.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"81 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129008646","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Furthermore, these data come from heterogeneous content and structure resources. Both factors are the major handicap that limits the correct functioning of information systems. Being on the same wavelength, researchers have fixed as a challenge to reach targeted information retrieval which allows an easy access to the desired resource then return relevant and correct outcomes corresponding to a specific request. Therefore, semantic annotation is chosen as a paramount solution that may handle all these requirements, while ensuring a good understanding of document content then exploit and share it readily afterward. In this paper, we treat semantic annotation of documents using multi-ontologies, by stressing the effect of that on the relevance and the quality of semantic annotation results. A new FLL (Frequency Locked Loop) technique is developed that incorporates advantages of both the cascaded delayed signal cancellation and dual second order generalized integrator schemes. Experimental results are evaluated in terms of quality of the positive voltage sequence, frequency and phase angle identification for the grid voltage disturbed by harmonic, subharmonic, and negative sequence components as well as for amplitude, frequency, and phase angle jumps in the voltage. A novel power control technique for grid-connected converter under unbalanced voltage conditions is referred as well. The current positive and negative sequences during grid voltage sags are controlled to assure a proper exchange of active and reactive powers without substantial power ripples, and especially, without current harmonics.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127995422","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, the lightpaths' Quality of Transmission (QoT) might become potentially unacceptable. Such degradation has a severe impact on the performance of long-haul transmission transparent optical networks in terms of rejection ratio. This is especially severe when considering Random Lightpath Demands (RLDs). Traffic rerouting is a good solution that can improve transparent optical networks performances. This paper investigates rerouting and minimization of incurred service disruption period. Numerical experiments show that the proposed impairment-aware wavelength rerouting scheme provides significant improvement either in terms of rejection ratio or in terms of service disruption period.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132690742","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The model assumes muscle fibers have a cylindrical structure and are uniformly parallel distributed in an isotropic media. This model is based on a mathematical formulation of the relationship between the observation electrode and the extracellular longitudinal currents produced by the fiber muscle. The AP of a single muscle fiber is estimated by including parameters values related to the AP such as the dipoles length, radial and longitudinal conductivity in the presented model. The parameters related to the position of electrode, the inter-electrode distance and the electrode sizes are investigated on the presented simulation model.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115396979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main aim is to explore the social influence in the cyberworld and its ability to improve the cybersecurity capabilities in cyberspace' users. Developing countries are from the most source and target of cybercrime in the world, however, their poor infrastructures make them as an intermediary to attack other countries. This paper presents a framework for developing countries cybersecurity capabilities assessment through a social influence strategy, which become actually an actor in the process of user opinion change, taking into account the variables presented by the Friedkin model from the social influence and opinion change theory. This framework covers several factors that provide advanced capabilities for cybersecurity in developing countries. The finding may help information security professionals to improve their cybersecurity strategy efficiency by including users in the achievement of a secure and safe information system.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"172 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116141739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This reduced power conversion structure is widely considered in many industrial applications, especially the electrical traction thanks to its costly-effectiveness, compactness, lower complexity and lower switching losses. This paper presents a new space vector modulation method (SVPWM) of the TSTPI. The proposed method uses at any switching period the three largest active vectors to synthesize the reference output voltage vector. It compares also two distribution strategies of the gate signals. Computer simulations carried out on a numerical model of the converter feeding an RL load confirm the validity of the proposed SVPWM method. The correct operation of the converter controlled with the SVPWM method is also emphasized through experimental tests realized on a laboratory prototype of the inverter.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132648266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
