Furthermore, IEEE has published the official standard in 2012. BANs come in several variants such as Medical (or hospital) BANs (MBANs) and wireless BANs (WBANs). They are also located at the crossing of several domains for example wearables, Internet of Things (IoT), sensors nets, and so on. In this paper we propose contributions at two BAN levels. We first present a system level solution for MBAN mobility and handover (HO). Second, we give a BAN channel model which consists of an extension of our work formerly applied to Wi-Fi and Wimax.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"140 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115990885","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a simple heuristic method that can identify each state of the system and classify the contingencies in order of severity. Considering the multiple faults which can affect the margin of security of electrical network, transient stability is analyzed for different load and generation conditions. The critical clearing time is calculated by using the numerical method. We performed the IEEE-14 bus system using the well-known software EUROSTAG.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114210620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It allows us to introduce a 3D modeling feature for the target organ to lead the segmentation. This method is tested on the dataset IRCAD which containe a 20 Computed tomography exams. These exams are obtained with different scanning protocol. Thence, we used two algorithms. First, we employed the Shape Context based Corresponding Point Model with a B-spline registration to normalize the 3D dataset with the landmarks mean distance equal to 95%. Then, we applied the active shape model. The experiments demonstrate that this algorithm is efficient and it have a tolerate value of Modified Hausdorff Distance of 3D matching between surface mesh using the iso-surface reconstruction and the Active Shape Model. Its range equal to 28.95mm.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127145927","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many researches and experiments in the world have been conducted to study causes of ASD. It has been proved that ASD is associated with elevated concentrations of homocysteine and low concentrations of cerebral folic acid. Being part of a complex biological system, we can model it to study its behaviour relatively to metabolic causes of ASD and predict the deregulations earlier. We use, in this work, a Petri net extension, called HFPN, in order to model a complex system related to metabolic biological causes of ASD and to analyse effects of some enzymes and metabolites in ASD.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125439727","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This method, namely the spectral domain transverse operator method, is used to formulate numerically the electromagnetic field inside each layer. The computed Green's function for an open microstrip line with magnetic substrate is compared to previously published results and excellent agreement is achieved. The Galerkin method is applied in the spectral domain to carry out the dispersion characteristics of microstrip line on magnetic substrate. Numerical results are obtained effectively and compared with previous published works.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124151121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The considered filter is realized by three SIW rectangular cavities which are coupled by via-hole irises. Compared with the simple SIW filter, the coupled cavities technique may be highly desirable to improve the rejection quality and to increase the bandwidth size of filter. The design theory is based on the LWCIP ‘longitudinal Wave Concept Iterative Process’ method. In fact, The WCIP method presents an unconditionally convergence criteria and it reduce significantly the computational time. The obtained results are validated by High Frequency Structure Simulator HFSS.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"39 10","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114042343","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

General CRLB expressions for carrier frequency offset, carrier phase, symbol timing and signal to noise ratio (SNR) estimation are analytically developed going through the computation of the Fisher information matrix (FIM) entries. We consider both uncoded and coded transmissions spoiled by complex additive white Gaussian noise (CAWGN). Assessment of the derived bounds is obtained for M-PSK linearly modulated and convolutionally encoded signals using Monte Carlo (MC) integration technique.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131927206","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This improvement is achieved by using the PV inverter as a shunt active power filter in addition to its main function of power injection in the grid. The shunt active power filtering is performed to compensate the disturbing grid current introduced by the non-linear load, composed by the set of the harmonic and reactive currents. To do that, this paper proposes a new technique able to extract effectively the correct disturbing load current taken as the reference compensating current in the current control loop of the PV inverter. The effectiveness of the proposed technique in improving the grid current quality is demonstrated through the good obtained simulation results.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"181 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133802618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

How to represent and measure appropriately the trust is a pursuit of many researchers. Many tasks, such as encryption and signature, can be accomplished perfectly by a collaborative process when a trust metric is well-defined. Trust is a widely used metric that is both effective and significative. This paper proposes a credit and honesty-based method for measuring hierarchical trust. Enhancing the credit of a good collaborator and the honesty of a good rater provides more precision in the management of the most trustworthy objects in the IoT. We have compared our proposal with the reviewed solutions in terms of time complexity, in which it demonstrates the best results.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125441497","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It can be formulated as an optimization problem where the associated energy to be optimized is a non-convex function that often shows local optima. Unlike classical numerical optimization algorithms frequently used in image registration, evolutionary optimizers involve search strategies preventing the algorithm from getting stuck in local optima and do not rely on a starting solution. However, they may suffer from slow convergence speed and lack of accuracy. In this paper we propose a new multimodal intensity-based image registration technique based on a specific design of real-coded genetic algorithm. The proposed approach provides a higher convergence speed than conventional genetic algorithm and superior alignment accuracy related to the use of multiresolution strategy with three image complexity levels. The experimental results show the outperformance of our method compared to a well-known registration method for real multimodal registration scenarios.","PeriodicalId":426951,"journal":{"name":"2016 7th International Conference on Sciences of Electronics, Technologies of Information and Telecommunications (SETIT)","volume":"184 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132479529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
