{"title":"OBRAZOVANJE OBITELJSKIH MEDIJATORA U HRVATSKOM I MEĐUNARODNOM KONTEKSTU","authors":"Vanja Branica","doi":"10.3935/LJSR.V27I1.377","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3935/LJSR.V27I1.377","url":null,"abstract":"EDUCATION OF FAMILY MEDIATORS IN THE CROATIAN AND INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT 5 ABSTRACT The paper provides an overview of the training of family mediators from the perspective of the number of hours and the contents of educational programmes in some member states of the European Union and some countries outside of Europe where family mediation is highly developed. The aim is to analyse the common and specific determinants with regard to the length of training, implementation of training and contents of training. The paper shows that there is no unified training practice for family mediators, and that the number of hours differs among the analysed countries. The educational programmes are conducted within professional associations and organisations that deal with family mediation or within faculties. A larger similarity can be observed in the contents covered by the educational programmes with regard to the knowledge needed for the implementation of family mediation, techniques and methods, principles, values, legal and psychosocial aspects of understanding the contents and procedures of mediation. Apart from theoretical aspects, attention is given to the methods of teaching which motivate practical implementation during the teaching, as well as direct practical work accompanying supervision. Communication through modern technologies is conducted in everyday private and professional relationships, and therefore digital environment brings numerous changes in the area of interpersonal relationships. The influence of the online environment on partner relationships is in the focus of researchers and practitioners alike. The aim of this paper is to present modern trends in the area of partner communication in the digital environment and to present the possibilities and challenges for family mediators in the contemporary digital age particularly significant in actual crisis of COVID 19 pandemic. The first part of the paper is focused on partner relationships in the modern, digital age and it presents the results of the research in the area of partner communication in the online environment, as well as the implications for the practitioners in the area of partner relationships. The second part of the paper presents the possibilities of family mediation in the online environment. Digital tools and possibilities of online communication have many benefits in the professional practice of helping professionals who, due to the additional demands of the online environment, have the responsibility to improve their digital competencies and to implement modern technologies in their daily practice. Since the online environment brings specific ethical challenges to professionals, this paper will present the ethical standards needed for the area of online family mediation. The paper briefly presents the digital tools and applications which can be useful to the partners and family mediators during the family mediation process. As elsewhere in the world, due to the COVID-19 epidemics supervisors in Croatia are currently faced with the necessity of conducting various forms of supporting supervision for professionals and volunteers who work with vulnerable population groups. Simultaneously, and specifically for Croatia, supervisors are faced with the necessity of using online supervision which is a novelty here. Starting from an analysis of international experiences and our initial experiences, the paper provides the first guidelines for “the beginners” for planning and conducting online supervision. Ethical and legal aspects of protecting supervisees and clients, IT aspects and practical aspects of online supervisory work are examined. {"title":"USPOREDBA PREVALENCIJE I PREDIKCIJE VRŠNJAČKOG NASILJA SA VRŠNJAČKIM ZLOSTAVLJANJEM","authors":"T. Velki","doi":"10.3935/LJSR.V26I3.218","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3935/LJSR.V26I3.218","url":null,"abstract":"Cilj istraživanja bio je usporediti prevalenciju nasilja u odnosu na prevalenciju zlostavljanja kao fenomena koji ukljucuje strože kriterije određenja (moc i namjera) iako sadržajno koristi iste opise ponasanja. Uspoređena je prevalencija tjelesnog, verbalnog i elektronickog nasilja u odnosu na iste oblike zlostavljanje, u razmaku od 5 godina. Također se usporedila mogucnost predikcije nasilja u odnosu na zlostavljanje koristeci se istim prediktorima koji su se pokazali konzistentnima u predviđanju nasilja u prijasnjim istraživanjima (dob, spol, prethodna viktimizacija, emocionalna kompetencija, broj prijatelja, vrsnjacka prihvacenost, skolski uspjeh i skolska klima). U istraživanju su sudjelovali ucenici od petog do osmog razreda osnovne skole. U prvom valu prikupljanja podataka sudjelovalo je 880 ucenika (48% djecaka) prosjecne dobi M = 12, 81 (SD = 1, 151) koji su samoprocjenjivali vrsnjacko nasilje, a u drugom valu 496 ucenika (42, 9% djecaka) prosjecne dobi M = 12, 49 (SD = 1, 181) koji su samoprocjenjivali vrsnjacko zlostavljanje. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su porast prevalencije zlostavljanja u odnosu na prevalenciju nasilja, posebice u vidu žrtava i pocinitelja-žrtava elektronickog zlostavljanja. Odabranim prediktorima bolje smo uspjeli objasniti vrsnjacko zlostavljanje od vrsnjackog nasilja. {"title":"SURADNJA U INKLUZIVNIM ŠKOLAMA: KAKO POMOĆNICI U NASTAVI PROCJENJUJU NJIHOVU SURADNJU S UČITELJIMA U RAZREDU?","authors":"Dijana Drandić, Mirjana Radetić-Paić","doi":"10.3935/LJSR.V27I1.287","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3935/LJSR.V27I1.287","url":null,"abstract":"The educational inclusion of pupils with disabilities into regular schools enables, based on the professional evaluation of their special educational needs, with the support of teachers and learning support teachers, and in line with their abilities, the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary to become self-sufficient and socially included. The aim of this research was to gain insight into the cooperation work of learning support teacher and teacher and, from the learning support teacher’s perspective to explore their views on mutual cooperation in the implementation of educational inclusion of pupils with disabilities in regular classes, then to examine the relationship of learning support teachers attitudes with their sociodemographic characteristics. The obtained results indicate favorable attitudes of learning support teachers towards cooperation with teachers. As well as the fact that the majority of learning support teachers have only completed secondary education. It seems that the lower level of formal education of learning support teachers (secondary school) as well as attending seminars and workshops on educational inclusion and developmental disabilities contribute to better mutual cooperation. The results of the conducted analysis have shown the existence of differences in attitudes among participants with regard to two sociodemographic variables: workshops/seminars about working with children/pupils with disabilities and the learning support teachers’ level of education. Anyhow, it is important to emphasize the collaboration and supporting relationship between learning support teachers and teachers who can ensure sufficient psychological, pedagogic, program-organisational, didactic-methodical and social possibilities of the school’s inclusive activity. Skoric","doi":"10.3935/ljsr.v27i1.277","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3935/ljsr.v27i1.277","url":null,"abstract":"The aim of this paper is to attempt to reconceptualise, sum up and analyse the main heritage of the Brazilian philosopher and educator Paul Freire and present its significance for social work. Since few authors analysed this issue, the paper will primarily aim to provide a more coherent framework of Freire’s ides in the context of social work that have already been examined. Namely, the paper will present in what manner his ides, such as critical pedagogy, reflexive practice, critical thinking, dialogue, empowerment, reciprocity and many others, influence social work practice. The aforementioned Freire’s ideas which are relevant for social work are grouped into three areas: (1) critical social work, empowerment and re-evaluation of the position of social work in society, (2) ideas that could be used for reconceptualisation of the relationship between a social worker and a client, and (3) ideas directed towards reflection on growth and development of social workers as professionals.
