We investigated the effect of demographic characteristics such as gender, age, education, income, and frequency of visits. We examined the effect of behavioral characteristics such as customer loyalty and dependency. A questionnaire was developed to measure customers’ perceived service quality by reviewing current literature in this area. This study measures pharmacy service quality from the reflective model perspective. Service quality is measured on reliability, assurance, tangibility, empathy, and responsiveness. Data from the 15 years from 2003 to 2018 have been used to determine the clear picture of pre- and post-crisis 2008. The ADF test has been applied to test the stationary of the data. Drawing on the social exchange theory we develop and empirically test a model to explain the role of nonfinancial rewards, i.e. work-life balance, learning opportunities, and career advancement on organizational attractiveness. Following the quantitative research approach we collected data from 88 undergraduate students from 3 main universities in management in Sri Lanka. To test the model we developed one hypothesis. The results of simple linear regression suggested that nonfinancial rewards had statistically significant effect on generation Y candidates’ organizational attractiveness. Because of noise in online communication channels it is becoming more and more difficult for marketing messages to be noticed. Visual images are now common on social media and can attract target audience and consumers and draw their attention in the online environment. This paper presents a study that selected 37 companies’ photos posted on Facebook. Four of these companies were highlighted owing to the high popularity and acceptance of their photos. Qualitative research was performed to investigate what kinds of photos these companies posted from Feb 2018 to Jan 2019. The results of this study show that there are diverse types of photos (of food, children, sports, animals, landscape, automobile, portraits, architecture, macros, quotes, events, aerial, street, and documentary) used for various marketing purposes. The 351 responses were collected via stratified random sampling from members of self -help groups, and an exploratory principal component analysis is undertaken to identify the number of components that underlie the women empowerment. Further, a confirmatory factor analysis is used to confirm the factors in the study. Though this industry has witnessed phenomenal growth in the past, with multi-generation technology products driving it, its growth has remained erratic in nature. This paper also ratifies if the industry would survive the existing market size growth trend. In this predictive assessment, univariate time series data of net sales, collected from CMIE, is used. The data, spreading across 14 years, have 56 observations and exhibit both trend and seasonality. Forecast of market size is made using the best model derived from comparative approaches that include SARIMA, triple exponential smoothing and neural network. SARIMA model is found to best fit the historical data for predictive purpose and the study outcome suggests market size to grow till 2020. Finally, Weibull’s function is used to analyze reliability of the forecast results which indicates diminishing trend of the market size growth. Running in a cyclic manner, experiential learning guides students to interpret why something happened, plan what should be done in the future, collect and manipulate facts and data, and experience and reveal what they learnt. With the capabilities of current mobile devices (like virtual personal assistants), experiential learning can be implemented with a higher level of effectiveness. By applying multiple regression analysis on 351 survey responses in India, our findings suggest that WE emerges from two distinct attributes of the SHG members: surface-level (e.g., age, marital status, no. of children, income, whether spouse working, any other assistance) and deep-level (e.g., years of SHG membership, amount of loan availed, purpose of loan, educational level). Moreover, WE is a combination of five broad dimensions such as economic, political, social, legal and psychological empowerment. Further, a set of capacity building measures (i.e., training on governance, technology-driven livelihood support, promoting networking, social justice and harmony) helps to empower women. The study also explores four different categories of perceived individual tension (i.e., economic, social, legal, and technology-oriented learning) and their effects on WE. A self-administered survey instrument is developed consisting 26 items under three parts. Both primary and secondary data have been used in this study. In order to collect primary data, face-to-face interview method was used. The result provides evidence that human capital is significantly associated with financial and non-financial performance of an organization. That means skills, education and training, knowledge and competencies, and positive attitudes are vital elements to increases organizational performance. The quantum and composition of waste generation pose a series of complexities regarding surrounding institutions’ plans in dealing with it. In India, the responsibility of handling solid waste primarily falls to municipal authorities or Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). These ULBs are the main functional units that plan, implement and control the actions as well as resources used for SWM within their jurisdiction. This study explores a strategic approach of these ULBs towards the management of solid waste at the functional level across 10 districts in J&K, a state of India. The study advocates for the inclusion of strategic interventions in the field of SWM based on a survey conducted which establishes the gap in strategic implementation.
