One of the basic ideas we form about the countryside in comparison to life in the city is the countryside as a space of safety and harmony, a countryside imbued with friendly personal relationships. In this paper, however, I show that the countryside is ambivalent. One source of this ambivalence, of villagers acting ambivalently, friendly and hostile at the same time, is a reaction to difference. Difference that is constructed on the basis of different attributes.","PeriodicalId":426043,"journal":{"name":"Social Pathology and Prevention","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122274001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the main goal, partial goals were set, which were focused mainly on finding the most common socio-pathological phenomena at the primary school established according to Paragraph 16, Section 9 of the Education Act, as well as how pupils perceive primary prevention at the primary school established according to Paragraph 16, Section 9 of the Education Act, and which topics in the field of prevention of socio-pathological phenomena are most often dealt with by teachers, educators, parents and legal guardians at the primary school established according to Paragraph 16, Section 9 of the Education Act. Three hypotheses were based on the goals given, which were verified in a research survey. To achieve the objective of the research survey, a quantitative method was used in the form of a self-designed questionnaire. The sample consisted of 83 respondents who participated in the research survey. The research survey showed that the appearance of socio-pathological phenomena in pupils in selected primary schools established according to Paragraph 16, Section 9 of the Education Act is more frequent than expected. Most of the pupils in selected primary schools face socio-pathological phenomena, most of them substance abuse and aggressive behavior. On the other hand, the issue of cyberbullying occurs the least among primary school pupils established according to Paragraph 16, Section 9 of the Education Act. From the point of view of pupils, primary prevention in selected primary schools is sufficient.","PeriodicalId":426043,"journal":{"name":"Social Pathology and Prevention","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127643910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper presents a case study, which portrays a typical situation that indicates that the possibilities of solving such a situation are not sufficient in the Czech Republic. A secret birth was not possible for the woman due to the presumption of paternity; she did not see any other legal way and the child died due to unprovided medical care. Based on the case analysis, the introduction of anonymous births, which allow complete confidentiality of the mother‘s identity without any other obstacles, appears to be an alternative option for the presented situation. However, anonymous births cause a debate about the conflict of three rights: the child‘s right to know his or her parents, the mother‘s right to choose to be a mother, and the child‘s right to life. As is clear in the examples of solutions to similar situations across europe, there is no consensus on an ideal solution, but there is a tendency to protect the child‘s life in the first place.","PeriodicalId":426043,"journal":{"name":"Social Pathology and Prevention","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126775308","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we describe the partial results that relate to the connection of moral dilemmas in partner relationships and the value attributes of partner love of men and women of younger adulthood and adolescence. The results show that different axiological constructions in the field of intimacy and partnerships also lead to special dilemmas that men and women are confronted with in a couple‘s life.","PeriodicalId":426043,"journal":{"name":"Social Pathology and Prevention","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131227209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Snoezelen is the name given to approaches, strategies, and special pedagogical support, implemented through various methods, techniques, and means to activate development, stimulate interest, motivate cognition, and mediate personal experience in people of different ages, but especially in children and pupils with multiple disabilities of different aetiology or causality. The results of the literature review clearly demonstrate the sustainability and high level of use of the Snoezelen concept in the education of pupils with severe disabilities in special schools, under the guidance of fully competent special educators during the period of compulsory education.","PeriodicalId":426043,"journal":{"name":"Social Pathology and Prevention","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116401915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
