In this paper, we mainly study the current level of single-phase grounding fault on the 220kV side of the 500kV autotransformer, which is changed from the direct grounding to the series reactor. Operation and network life are controlled by a large deployed sensor network whose major characteristic is self-organization and energy efficiency. The area of challenge is energy efficiency as it is limited, valuable and is hard to find. The lifetime of sensor network is extended through many clustering protocols that reduce utilization of power. Clustering operations are optimized through swarm optimizations and evolutionary algorithms. Invasive Weed Optimization (IWO) is a numerical protocol which is continuous and stochastic and provides a simple evolutionary mechanism with clarity for optimization. Limitation of local optimality is overcome by Tabu Search (TS) which makes use of linear programming algorithms and specialized heuristics. One of the key factors is image resolution. Image RE is the method of modifying a portrait so that output portrait is more superior to the novel one for meticulous application. There are many techniques for portrait enhancement in image processing. Mainly three important wavelet techniques are used i.e., Method1 is Discrete wavelet transform (DWT), Method2 is Discrete wavelet transform — Stationary wavelet transforms (DWT-SWT), and Method3 is Dual tree complex wavelet transform (DT-CWT). A low resolution portrait is decomposed into four sub-band (SB's) i.e., Low-Low (SB 1), low-high (SB 2), high-low (SB 3), and high-high (SB 4) using DWT, DWT-SWT, and DT-CWT. The high frequency (HF) SB's are interpolated using bicubic interpolation and combined with interpolated low resolution portrait in case of DWT-SWT and DT-CWT. SB 1, SB 2, SB 3, SB 4 are interpolated using bicubic interpolation and combined with difference of input portrait and interpolated Low frequency SB portrait in case of DWT. Inverse DWT, Inverse DWT-SWT, and Inverse DT-CWT wavelet transform are applied respectively. The output is high resolution (HR) portrait. Image Resolution enhancement loses HF components. So DWT technique is used to preserve HF components. DWT generates artifacts. These artifacts are reduced by DT-CWT. All these three techniques are applied on NOAA-19-HRPT satellite images. The inserted message must not be damaged when processing is applied on the cover media. Several image processing operations such as format conversion, lossy and lossless compression, noise removal and other enhancement. This paper presents multi layer image encryption and decryption using random puzzle based method to embed secret data into the cover image. This approach enhances the security and provides robust embedding. In this work, a 8×8 Sudoku puzzle which has a 64×64 reference matrix is used. The proposed method gives a superior average capacity of 5 bits per pixel. The message is embedded at the sender using random permutation puzzle. At the Receiver end, the user has to rearrange the image thereby solving the puzzle. The attacker lacks knowledge of original image order and is unable to solve the puzzle. Our outcome indicate that the recommended approach provides high steganographic security while providing high embedding capacity of about 5 bits per pixel. A novel type multi-sectioned arm with a continuous back bone curve is considered for the multibody dynamic simulation using ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis for Multi-body Systems) software. In this paper, the construction and working of the bio-inspired arm is discussed, followed by the numerical simulation of the shape of the back bone curve of each of the section using ADAMS — Ansys interaction. The geometric non-linearity experienced by the arm during actuation is simplified by predicting the curvature of each section and then coupling them end to end to obtain the overall shape of the backbone curve. For this work, ADAMS command language is used to create a research platform to test the kinematics of the arm with user specified parameters. This paper considers, heuristic approach assisted adaptive filter is recommended to detect and analyze the vibration signal of IM. In this work, a digital Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filter is designed using recent heuristic algorithm known as the Firefly Algorithm (FA). During this study, a model squirrel-cage induction motor running at various load conditions, such as 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% are considered and the variation of the vibration level with respect to the variation in load is analyzed using the proposed procedure. The performance of the FA based IIR filter (FA-IIRF) is then validated against the IIR filter designed using PSO and BA based approaches. This experimental study confirms the capability of FA-IIRF in detecting the common induction motor faults like, vibration due to weak bearing and vibration due to the stator winding. Finally, the statistical significance of the FA-IIRF is confirmed using the Wilcoxon's rank-sum test. The need for energy efficient and high speed analog-to-digital converters is necessary for the use of dynamic regenerative comparators to improve speed and efficiency of power. Fast ADCs, such as flash ADCs, requires an energy efficient comparator with small chip area. In this work comparison is performed among the delay of single Tail comparator, Double Tail Comparator and double tail comparator for less power theoretically and practically. The sub threshold leakage of transistors has usually been very small in the off state, as gate voltage is below threshold. The leakage from all sources has increased as the technology scales down. But as voltages have been scaled down with transistor size, sub threshold leakage has become a considerable factor. Fast comparators in CMOS having the problem of less rail voltages when threshold-voltages(Vt) of the devices are not scaled at the same speed as the rail voltages of the latest CMOS techniques. The proposed work consumes less power about 290mW compared to other types of comparators.
