These SoCs integrate multi-core processor (i.e., ARM Cortex9 or A15) with variety of memory interface controllers, communication interface controllers and special purpose accelerators. Traditionally bus matrix is used for integrating these intellectual properties — cores (IPs). Bus based architectures are not scalable and consume more area and power, which has fueled design of network on chip (NOC). A customized NOC is further more efficient. In this paper, a methodology for customized NOC architecture is introduced considering various aspects of NOC as well as the SoC. Policies for optimizing Bandwidth requirement, size of the IP (area or gate count), lP location for optimum path lengths are discussed. Policies in turn form methodology for optimum NOC. As IPs in SOC increase in numbers, NOC for interconnecting every IP may result in over networking. Sometimes, performance of router is under utilized. On the other hand, for closely coupled IPs direct port to port connections are suitable than NOC as they communicate heavily. IPs which talk one at a time are grouped together and common local bus architecture is suitable for them. Outside group they talk through NOC. Or routers with less number of ports gives better results. Proper grouping and layout will reduce complexity. Here I am proposing a methodology for handcrafting NOC among intellectual property core groups (IPGs), inside and outside of the groups. Final outcome is, reduced number of routers required and optimized physical design of SoC.","PeriodicalId":425974,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Algorithms, Methodology, Models and Applications in Emerging Technologies (ICAMMAET)","volume":"2250 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130211989","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This has led to increasing need for real-time monitoring of grids. Wide area monitoring systems (WAMS) equipped with new era information and communication technology provides real-time situational awareness through synchrophasor technology. WAMS allow monitoring the grid and transmission system conditions over large areas. The phasor measurement units (PMU) are integral to WAMS, as they provide synchrophasors of analogue quantities from different locations of the grid. This paper proposes a modeling technique of PMU using Petri nets (PNs) for reliability assessment. The PN based reliability model captures dynamic behaviour as well as minute functional details of PMU and its modules. Additionally, the model provides information regarding normal, alert and emergency situations of the PMU modules. The reliability indices are obtained using PN-Markov approach, which are found complying with the existing m ethods.","PeriodicalId":425974,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Algorithms, Methodology, Models and Applications in Emerging Technologies (ICAMMAET)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130812963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through the comparative analysis on the differences of MT evaluation methods, this paper points out the present MT research difficulties and hotspots, and makes a qualitative review on the future MT evaluation research direction. In general, there are still some shortcomings on current MT evaluation methods, mainly characterized by the subjectivity of human evaluation and the incapability of quantitative evaluation. On the other hand, applying the evaluation method of the error type analysis can quantify the evaluation results, but lacks the evaluation for the readability of the translation results.","PeriodicalId":425974,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Algorithms, Methodology, Models and Applications in Emerging Technologies (ICAMMAET)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116659088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It adopts integral matrix encoding that each element represents the community index of the corresponding node. The migration operator and the mutation operator are the fundamental process to improve the accuracy and the quality of community detection. Each individual in the habitat can exchange information with other individuals by immigrating or emigrating. And the exchange among individuals will change the integral matrix value that closely connects with community index. In this paper, network modularity function is chosen as its suitability function, which to measure the quality of the community structure. The quality and effectiveness of the BBO algorithm are exposed in experimental tests by using artificial random network and real networks. The accuracy of BBO algorithm is batter to that of some classic algorithms, and is comparable to that of some latest algorithms.","PeriodicalId":425974,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Algorithms, Methodology, Models and Applications in Emerging Technologies (ICAMMAET)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122827180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Adopting the same method, all the fault feature vectors are obtained. Then, these vectors are trained in a learning vector quantization (LVQ) neural network. In parallel, data storage also undergoes major issues in confidentiality. Lot of techniques are in use for ensuring confidentiality of data. The available techniques are not in a position to fully protect data. And here comes the obfuscation techniques to handle the malicious hackers. These obfuscation techniques are used for encryption of numerical data prior to uploading into storage. Proposed technique is to encrypt the numerical data by an obfuscation technique on cloud and to provide protection from malicious intruders.
