To minimize losses due to disaster impacts is the planning of disaster management and finanial. This study aims to develop a disaster budget planning model at MDMC Magelang and can be more effective in the phase of disaster emergency response response. This research method uses a qualitative approach by conducting literature studies and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to stakeholders. The sample used by One Muhammadiyah One Response (OMOR) component in Magelang Regency with a checklist instrument complete document and a question guide for the FGD. The results of this study were obtained a budget planning model in the One Muhammadiyah One Response (OMOR) program in Magelang Regency by involving all components in Muhammadiyah which can be implemented in disaster handling through LazisMu Regency Magelang. The role of disaster nurses in this model can do the pre-disaster phase, emergency response and post-disaster. \u0000Keywords: Emergency care; disaster preparedness; community nursing practice; nursing perspective; financial planning","PeriodicalId":425433,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Holistic Nursing Science","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126911712","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Studies highlighted that various measures have been well conducted to reduce the transmission of COVID-19. Recently, World Health Organization (WHO) announced a new COVID variant named Omicron which is initially reported in South Africa. Until now smoking can cause various complications that have an impact on health such as cancer and heart disease. Behavioral theory such as TPB (Theory of Planned Behavior) is a behavior-based nursing theory that allows behavior change to minimize the impact of smoking. And until now there is no standardized instrument that measures a person's smoking behavior using the TPB application. Therefore, this study will develop a TPB model of smoking behavior instrument. This research is a non-experimental cross sectional study through validity and reliability tests carried out in 4 stages: literature review, instrument development, Content Validity Index and Internal consistency reliability. The reliability test was carried out on 93 respondents who were taken by accidental sampling with the criteria of male smokers aged 15 to 60 years, no history of disease due to smoking, willing to be participants and able to read and write. Internal consistency reliability analysis through Cronbach's Alpha value. The results of the study showed that as many as 40 instrument items had been developed, with an average I-CVI value of 4 experts being 0.75-1.0. While the average Cronbach's Alpha value reached 0.870. The smoking behavior instrument that measures the TPB component that has been developed is valid and reliable.","PeriodicalId":425433,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Holistic Nursing Science","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126371979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Even though negative impacts have been identified, positive impacts are rarely studied. The identification of positive impacts will be useful for social media users and can be a source of information and prevention of health problems for social media users. This study used a cross-sectional design with a purposive sampling method. The research was conducted on people who live in Ponorogo and use social media. The results showed psychological well-being on social media users at normal levels and mild stress. The influencing factors are gender and education. The challenge is that the orientation of the nursing education curriculum in Indonesia is still local, not yet leading to international standards. As a result, only a small number of nurses passed the selection, the process is longer, and the recruitment cost is higher. Therefore, this review aims to identify the global need for Indonesian nurses and provide an overview of the importance of structured planning in terms of nursing education curriculum related to job opportunities overseas. The study grouped, allocated, organized, and used relevant library variations. Researchers conducted a literature study regarding the demand for Indonesian nurses, the development of education and curriculum from several sources such as the Ministry of Health, the Indonesian Migrant Workers and Protection Agency (BP2MI), the Ministry of Higher Education, World Health Organization (WHO), as well as the latest journals, from 2016 to 2021. The data were reviewed, analyzed and alternative solutions were identified. The analytical review shows the demands on Indonesian nurses keep on growing. The magnitude of this demand is an opportunity as well as challenges that need to be anticipated earlier in terms of the nursing education curriculum and the Government policymakers. \u0000Keywords: nursing education; global need of nursing; clinical practice; health policy maker","PeriodicalId":425433,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Holistic Nursing Science","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133875062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

COVID-19 pandemic causes movement restrictions that can affect physical activity in patients with diabetes. This review aimed to describe the physical activity of patients with diabetes during the COVID-19 pandemic. A scoping review of three journal databases including PubMed, SCOPUS, and ScienceDirect was conducted to locate articles that reported physical activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Articles are selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria based on the flowchart of the PRISMA-ScR. There were 11 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that during the COVID-19 pandemic there was a change in the level, type, and place of physical activity in patients with diabetes. The level of physical activity of patients varies with the majority of research showing a decrease in physical activity levels. A total of 183,560,151 confirmed cases of COVID-19 including 3,978,581 deaths was reported. This data surprised all healthcare professionals such as nurses working in the hospital and primary care in the community. As the consequence, a call for massive intervention is urgently needed particularly in Indonesia. This can be achieved by optimizing health promotion in the community, opening research grants for nurses, recruiting nursing volunteers, and coordinating with the government along with stakeholders in the healthcare services. In addition to that, a scientific publication focusing on innovative care is also essential to support the ongoing health policy. We finally hope, this pandemic will end soon.
