First, the problems of the high angle-of-attack missile in flight process and the advantages of the variable structure control theory are analyzed. Then, the longitudinal motion model is built. Based on the accelerometer flight control system, the sliding mode controller and the control law are designed. The performance of the controller is tested under parameter perturbation in simulink. The result shows that the variable structure autopilot of overload is superior to the traditional design under the condition of the high angle-of-attack flight.","PeriodicalId":425023,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference of IEEE Region 10 (TENCON 2013)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125198705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This method combines the two methods and thus obtains the interference cancelling capability of IBF and the noise suppression ability of FIM simultaneously. Furthermore, the proposed method is generalized to be feasible for arbitrary volumetric array and also achieves the same robustness as the conventional beamforming (CBF). With theoretical analysis and computer simulations, it is shown that with the proposed method, the volumetric array can obtain better DOA estimation results in low signal-to-ratio (SNR) condition as well as in the presence of interferences, when compared to the conventional CBF method.","PeriodicalId":425023,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference of IEEE Region 10 (TENCON 2013)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125579692","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

HHVSCR (High Holding Voltage SCR) has a high holding voltage and low trigger voltage characteristics than conventional SCR. And advanced HHVSCR is proposed for high voltage application. These characteristics enable to have latch-up immunity under normal operating conditions as well as superior full chip ESD protection. Proposed ESD protection circuits are verified and compared by TCAD simulation. As a result of simulation, holding voltage increases with different design parameters. The holding voltage of HHVSCR changes from 3V to 4.83V. On the other hands, the holding voltage of Advanced HHVSCR changes from 4.61V to 8.75V. The trigger voltage of HHVSCR has about 8~9V whereas Advanced HHVSCR varies from 27.3V to 32.7V due to different breakdown occurrence.","PeriodicalId":425023,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference of IEEE Region 10 (TENCON 2013)","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126196945","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to enhance the channel estimation accuracy when the length of pilot is limited, a joint algorithm of iterative equalization and iterative channel estimation is proposed. This algorithm makes use of the iterative block feedback equalization (IB-DFE) to combat the serious effect of the channel's deep frequency-selective fading for the single-carrier frequency domain equalization. And the soft-modulated signal feeding back from the channel decoder will be used to obtain more accurate channel estimation. Then these estimated values will be available in the next iteration of equalization to achieve better equalization performance. So the equalizer and the channel estimator will build good relationship of improving performance between each other. The simulation results show that the joint algorithm exhibits superior performance in conditions of different channel in contrast to the iterative equalization algorithm only obtaining channel estimation from pilot sequence.","PeriodicalId":425023,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference of IEEE Region 10 (TENCON 2013)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129959725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a fault-tolerant strategy proposed at system level can be applied to a CAM used as the coherence directory in the context of multiprocessor. For one thing, with the combined use of an interleaved parity bits protection scheme, a probabilistic structure called Bloom filter is adopted to signal if a given data is presented. Moreover, a novel history lookup table is proposed to compensate the limitation of the Bloom filter used in multiprocessor. It could denote an accurate count of data sharers to check the response of the CAM in conjunction with the Bloom filter. For the different types of errors detected, the proposed strategy further presents the corresponding solutions to maintain coherence amongst the private caches. Simulation results show that, the proposed technique can reduce the incremental execution time by an average 40% at the cost of slightly increased area and power consumption.","PeriodicalId":425023,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference of IEEE Region 10 (TENCON 2013)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129319750","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The key scattering factors of a diver include human organs, dry diving suit, scuba bottle, open-circuit bubble cloud, etc. Of all these factors, open-circuit bubble cloud is the most important. It is well known that the target strength (TS) of bubble cloud can be calculated by the TS of a single bubble with preset dimension. Such algorithms are based on the hypothesis that bubbles are of the same dimension, which is not true in real underwater environment. The distribution of bubble dimensions always follows some certain law. In this paper, a multi-dimension acoustic scattering model of bubble cloud was established through introducing the probability distribution function of bubble dimensions. And based on the proposed multi-dimension model, the TS of bubble cloud were calculated more precisely to meet the requirements of detection. Numerical simulation demonstrates that the validity of the proposed model which can truly describe the acoustic scattering characteristics of bubble cloud is over the single-dimension model.","PeriodicalId":425023,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference of IEEE Region 10 (TENCON 2013)","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129723985","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main structure of the proposed system is the power factor corrector with a full-bridge phase-shift converter, its power factor upgrade close to 1.0, as well as to change the charging strategy according to the battery module's state of charge. Furthermore, the full-bridge phase-shift converter control chip communicates with battery management system via the I2C interface, to modulate the full-bridge phase-shift converter charging strategy to short the charging time and improve the battery lifespan. All the experimental results are also provided. In addition, the proposed charger system has universal input voltage specification and power factor correction function, the overall system efficiency is maintained around at 79.4% to 87%. Furthermore, we directly capture the related data of the battery cells from the battery management system via the I2C interface, and then through the open-circuit voltage method integrating the Coulomb integral method to find the lowest state of charge of the battery cell as a benchmark charge to adjust charging strategy. The pre-charge current is used when the SOC of the battery is lower than 15%. And then we employ the constant current charging if the SOC is from 15% to 75%. Finally, the charging strategy of the last phase will change to constant voltage charging to avoid the overcharging phenomenon.","PeriodicalId":425023,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference of IEEE Region 10 (TENCON 2013)","volume":"99 9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128010698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
