Damayanti, Fathimah Fathimah","doi":"10.21111/JOIN.V1I1.2159","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21111/JOIN.V1I1.2159","url":null,"abstract":"Latar Belakang : Balai Besar Rehabilitasi Sosial Bina Grahita “Kartini” (BBRSBG “Kartini”) merupakan institusi khusus milik pemerintah yang memiliki fokus untuk mendidik penyandang tunagrahita. BBRSBG “Kartini” menerapkan system asrama di dalamnya. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui daya terima siswa terhadap makanan yang disediakan, status gizi siswa dan menganalisis hubungan antara daya terima makanan dengan status gizi siswa. Metode : Penelitian ini berjenis Observasi Analitik dengan desain cross sectional study . Penelitian dilaksanakan di asrama BBRSBG “Kartini”. Pengambilan data dilakukan selama 2 minggu, dari tanggal 29 Oktober 2017 – 12 November 2017. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa BBRSBG yang tinggal di asrama. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah daya terima makanan dan status gizi siswa. Data daya terima makanan dan status gizi siswa diuji menggunakan uji Korelasi Gamma. Hasil : Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan rata – rata hasil daya terima siswa konsumsi tertinggi jatuh pada hari ke 1 dan 2 (98%) dan terendah jatuh pada hari ke 7 (92%). Status gizi siswa dengan angka tertinggi adalah status gizi normal, sebanyak 42 siswa (57,5%). Sedangkan angka terendah adalah status gizi tidak normal, sebanyak 31 siswa (42,5%). The objective is to know the correlation between knowledge and attitude to use material brush among food vendors. Data analysis using eta-test to comparation of data analyze. The type of this research is the descriptive-quantitative with cross-sectional approach. The population of this study are 68 food sellers who use brushes in Bogor. The laboratory test used the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy Analysis (FTIR) to prove that the brush used by food vendors contain an element of pig. About 72.1% of respondents' knowledge level is adequate and 69.1% of respondents' attitude level is good or positive. Spectroscopic analysis of FTIR-ATR showed that the results obtained did not indicate the presence of pig compounds in each brush sample. Penyakit ini biasanya disebabkan adanya bakteri Eschericia coli yang berada pada saluran cerna manusia dan mempunyai sifat patogen. Pengaruh lingkungan dan kurangnya hygiene menyebabkan peningkatan jumlah bakteri Eschericia coli dalam tubuh sehingga aktivitas kerja organ tubuh menurun. Kulit apel manalagi mengandung senyawa flavonoid yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan dan antiaging. Dalam penanganan limbah kulit apel manalagi (Malus sylvestris Mill.) dapat digunakan untuk menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Eschericia coli. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui daya antibakteri dan konsentrasi terendah ekstrak kulit apel manalagi (Malus sylvestris Mill.) dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Eschericia coli menggunakan metode cawan sebar cara cakram dengan menggunakan 3 sampel pada setiap perlakuan. Sampel terdiri dari 7 kelompok perlakuan yaitu ekstrak kulit apel manalagi konsentrasi 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, kelompok kontrol positif ( chloramphenicol 1%), dan kelompok kontrol negatif (aquades steril). Media yang digunakan adalah Nutrient Agar (NA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak kulit apel manalagi mempunyai daya antibakteri terhadap pertumbuhan Eschericia coli.
