Amongst RETs Photovoltaic (PV) energy now has become most attractive as it is abundantly available and presently commercially comparable to conventional energy. To extract maximum power from PV arrays Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques are used. However, conventional MPPT algorithms perform well in uniform irradiance condition but ineffective in partial shaded condition (PSC). This demands development of efficient optimization techniques which are capable of seeking the global maximum power point effectively in PV systems under PSC. It is always not feasible to have the historical data of the similar projects for predictions. Therefore, CPDP (Cross Project Defect Prediction) as a subset of defect prediction in general has become a popular topic in research these days. In this paper, we present a systematic review of the CPDP. This paper summarizes the different methodologies used by various authors. A great amount of variation and heterogeneity is observed in the prediction process. Firstly, prototype filter is designed using ParksMcClellan algorithm. To avoid amplitude distortion linear optimization technique is used by varying passband edge frequency of prototype filter. Than after, QMF bank is designed by optimized prototype filter. Data compression is done by decomposing the signal using optimum QMF bank and truncates the irrelevant coefficients using level thresholding. Further, Run-Length Encoding (RLE) is applied to improve the compression performance. The proposed method is tested using MIT-BIH database. The performance is estimated by different parameters viz., the compression ratio (CR), percentage root-mean-square difference (PRD), signal to noise ratio (SNR), and quality score (QS). Experimental results show that proposed method provides QS up to 20.10 and table of comparison shows that this work is better than several other existing methods in terms of CR and PRD. VANET has many advantages including minimising traffic, reducing car accidents, co-operative awareness, and environmental safety by monitoring CO2 emission. All these applications require proper information dissemination among nodes. This is achieved through Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V), Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) or a hybrid approach. For this communication, U.S. FCC allotted Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC) spectrum of 75MHz in the frequency band of 5GHz(5.85 GHz to 5.925 GHz) [1]. This 75MHz spectrum is divided into seven 10 MHz-wide channels, One channel is the control channel (CCH) and the remaining six channels are the service channels (SCHs). Short messages are exchanged among the nodes to create cooperative awareness. These short messages are referred as Beacons, and the process is called as beaconing. Beaconing is always carried on CCH. This paper provides analysis of the beaconing performance of IEEE 802.11p when only the control channel is used for beaconing. Simulation experiments are conducted using OMNET++ and VEINS framework. For effective decision making in field of medical, advanced techniques of data mining are used. This paper proposed a prediction of heart disease using random forest and naive bayes. In addition, approach is proposed to select features before classification in order to improve performance of models. For feature selection, SVM-RFE and gain ratio algorithms are applied to dataset which in results assigns weight to each feature. This approach helps to improve accuracy and reduce computational time. A novel central switch DC-DC converter is utilizes in proposed system to optimize the output power of PV array, without usingany input PV capacitance. The continuous conduction mode (CCM) operation of central switch DC-DC converter considerably reduces the stresses on its components. This mode of operation also helps to enhance the DC-DC converter performance. The fundamental switching of a mid-point converter minimizes the switching losses and improves the overall system efficiency. An inherent problem of self-starting of 4-phase SRM is also overcome in the proposed system. The speed control of the drive via variable DC link voltage helps to completely eliminate the voltage and current sensors from motor side and makes system inexpensive. The similarity of sequences is found between the organisms by using RNA/DNA/Nucleotide sequences. Multiple Sequence Alignment is denoted as MSA is a method of arranging three, or further whole sequences simultaneously to find the similarity between them which leads to identify biological factors such as Drug design, the function of the protein, etc. In this paper, an upgraded Genetic Algorithm has been projected to discover an optimum solution for MSA by influencing different crossover parameters. For generating and preserving the variety of candidate solutions, the various classes of crossover operators are responsible. Also, the multi-objective optimization (MOO) technique was employed by maximizing the sequence similarity and minimizing the gap penalty to obtain the Pareto front optimal solution. The benchmark database named BAliBASE 3.0 was employed to evaluate the achievement of different crossover operators which influences the quality of sequence alignment. The final outcome revealed the significant enhancement in the sequence alignment with the influence of crossover operators. Lesion segmentation is a crucial step in the analysis and diagnosis of a skin cancer from digital images. This work proposes a technique for automatic segmentation of lesions from digital dermoscopic images using adaptive threshold. The use of many image processing techniques, such as average filtering for removal of hair and skin scales, mathematical morphology to reject the false positives, texture and geometrical features to correctly segment the lesion, have been successfully implemented to accurately segment the lesion from the images. The segmentation results from the proposed work are compared with ground truth. The results are convincing and show that the method has good accuracy. So, it becomes inevitable on the part of the aviation authorities to predict such delays and take necessary action to fix this loss for customer satisfaction. In this paper, an approach based on machine learning techniques is proposed that predicts the flight arrival delays considering input parameters ranging from distance to their corresponding weather details to make a decision of whether the specific flight is delayed or not. It makes use of neural networks and deep learning concepts to estimate flight delay. The proposed approach is tested on real world flight big dataset that gives an accuracy of 77% using deep nets and 89% using neural nets. In this method the characteristics and property of actual and new reduced systems are remain unchanged. For numerator coefficient pade approximations and for denominator coefficient pole clustering method is used.
