The latter especially holds for the field of natural language processing. Therefore in this paper we present a new information extraction toolkit, called nutIE, that offers a frontend for end-to-end text analysis using a modern javascript-based web application. The core of the toolkit includes all the high-level information extraction techniques with supporting preprocessing and evaluation methods. All these can be accessed by a Scala programmatic API or an arbitrary third-party application via REST interface. It has already been shown that the integrated toolkit's algorithms achieve state-of-the art results. The toolkit is currently applied at international text processing projects and courses.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126907639","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hierarchical routing protocols have many advantages when these networks are used in monitoring applications, with the energy efficient hierarchical multi-hop routing proposed for large scale networks that assures reliable data gathering in the non-ideal connectivity conditions. We here propose a modification of our previously designed multi-hop routing concept by employing clustering algorithm from HEED protocol in order to achieve uniformly placed clusters. The conducted analysis for several multi-hop protocols showed good performance of here proposed solution for ideal and non-ideal network connectivity.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126297354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PV cells have seen great efficiency improvements in the past years, furthermore according to Swanson's law PV cells become more and more affordable, but a lot of obstacles in effective utilization are still present. Energy harvesting systems with solar tracker can obtain significant improvement in solar energy exposure in comparison with static systems. The aim of this paper is to investigate the efficiency improvement given by a dual axis automated solar tracker and the maintenance and evaluation benefits of a real-time monitoring system.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127763826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The geomagnetic field measurements require very precise instrumentation which is mostly spacious. On the other hand, the chosen magnetometer — HMC5883L — is very tiny but suffers from lower resolution and high noise floor. The objective is to examine possibility of geomagnetism investigation made by an integrated widespread magnetometer, to evaluate its precision and to detect some outer space events by geomagnetism observations. There was proposed and constructed measuring device including AMR chip. The measuring device including the AMR chip was proposed and produced. A long-term measurement was recorded in collaboration with the geomagnetic observatory Budkov, Czech Republic (Institute of Geophysics of the CAS, v. v. i.; INTERMAGNET). The post-processing was designed in order to suppress sensor noise and temp-drift. The post-processing used was standardized by INTERMAGNET especially for geomagnetic observatories. Finally, with the constructed device there were detected the day-night variations of the Earth magnetic field and a solar storm of 4th grade of k-index.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121348932","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the proposed method propagation conditions between the localized objects and the anchors forming system infrastructure are classified into one of three categories: LOS (Line-of-Sight), NLOS and severe NLOS. Non-Line-of-Sight detection is conducted based on first path signal component power measurements. For each of the categories, average NLOS inducted time of arrival bias and bias standard deviation have been estimated based on results gathered during a measurement campaign conducted in a fully furnished apartment. To locate a tag, an EKF (Extended Kalman Filter) based algorithm is used. The proposed method of NLOS mitigation consists in correcting measurement results obtained in NLOS conditions and lowering their significance in a tag position estimation process. The paper includes the description of the method and the results of the conducted experiments.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115388386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
