The characteristics of stripmap SAR recording are listed, as well as the causes of poor resolution in the azimuth axis of the DBS algorithm. Before using the AWNE method, the SAR data were modified in the azimuth axis. The result is that the resolution of the signal in the frequency domain is improved, which represents resolution improvement in the azimuth axis of stripmap SAR image.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133661017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One notable problem is that academic data is very diverse, and involves complex interactions between many different entities and players. In this paper, a novel framework for analyzing heterogeneous academic data is proposed. While such a framework would have many different applications, this paper focuses on the design of an academic recommendation system, which is one interesting use case for this framework.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"151 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124219820","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, compression and transmission processes introduce visible artifacts in video signal. Thus video quality needs to be monitored and evaluated continuously. In this work a new solution that enables the additional offline analysis of detected video artifacts is proposed. The solution is based on Real-time Audio and Video Artifacts Detection Tool (AVADT) and it displays the timeline accompanied by the markers of different artifacts in different moments of video stream. Furthermore, in the proposed solution the reproduction of video segments that contain detected artifacts is enabled. By using the proposed solution, video service providers can perform the extended analysis and check existing trends related to artifact occurrence during video streaming.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132449244","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cooperating nodes communicate applying either a threshold-based or an Automatic Repeat reQuest (ARQ) protocol. Closed-form analytical expressions are derived when the network destination node applies maximal ratio combining, and are further verified through Monte Carlo simulations. The effects of type of protocol used, average signal-to-noise ratio values, network dimension and fading severity is discussed. Based on the presented results, the choice of internode protocol is considered a trade-off between the low-latency requirement and communication with no data loss.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"508 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132235487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In practice, doctors can pinpoint patient's R-peaks in an electrocardiogram by analyzing the complex morphology of the ECG signal; computers accomplish the same by utilizing different QRS detection algorithms. In this paper, we address the data problem to select the sample rate and resolution that obtain the highest accuracy. For this purpose, we conduct experiments to find the impact of the sampling frequency and resolution on the quality of the QRS detection, by several open-source QRS detection algorithms with multiple variations of data representation. The final goal is to recommend the lowest sampling frequency and smallest sampling resolution (bit depth), that will have sufficient data representation to enable high QRS detection accuracy.","PeriodicalId":422501,"journal":{"name":"2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130780048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
