Dabei stellen sich jenseits der Fragen zum Gesundheitsschutz zunehmend auch solche, die den Kern der Schule als Bildungsinstitution betreffen. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit muss dabei bildungsbenachteiligten Schuler*innen und solchen mit speziellen Forderbedarfen zu Teil werden, denn vieles spricht dafur, dass die Schere zwischen Kindern aus sozial privilegierten und benachteiligten Familien in Folge der Schulschliesungen weiter aufgegangen ist. Diese Entwicklung wird sich im Zuge einer schrittweisen Offnung der Schule fortsetzen, wenn nicht bewusst gegengesteuert wird. Notwendig ist deshalb eine breite bildungswissenschaftliche Diskussion uber Ansatze und Masnahmen, die zum Abbau der neu entstandenen und der schon bestehenden Bildungsungleichheiten beitragen. Im ersten Teil dieses Bandes werden Ergebnisse aus Erhebungen im Fruhjahr 2020 vorgestellt, die Aufschluss daruber geben, wie Schuler*innen, Eltern und padagogisches Personal die mit dem Fernunterricht verbundenen Herausforderungen erlebt haben. Die Beitrage des zweiten Teils widmen sich schulischen Problemfeldern. Unter besonderer Berucksichtigung der Ungleichheitsthematik fassen sie kurz den Forschungsstand zu rechtlichen, padagogischen, didaktischen und anderen Fragen zusammen und leiten daraus Vorschlage ab, wie Schule, Unterricht und Lernen unter den voraussichtlich noch langer andauernden Einschrankungen und daruber hinaus gestaltet werden konnten. Das Beiheft richtet sich an eine bildungspolitisch interessierte Offentlichkeit und insbesondere an diejenigen, die in der Bildungspolitik, der Bildungsadministration und naturlich in den Schulen Verantwortung fur die Gestaltung des Unterrichts und fur schulisches Lernen tragen.
