By employing a special parallel dual striplines (PDSL) structure, out-of-phase unequal power divider is realized. The out-of-phase characteristic between the two output ports is frequency independent owing to this special structure, and the unequal power-dividing ratio can be easily obtained avoiding high impedance transmission lines like conventional power divider. At last, a 2:1 out-of-phase PDSL power divider has been designed, fabricated and measured. By changing the electrical length of main transmission line in a certain range, the return loss is improved obviously while transmission parameter changes slightly. Comparing to use the traditional method of optimizing by simulation software, this method greatly reduces the simulation time, improves the design efficiency and precision. This paper designs one microwave gain equalizer and one broadband power-equalization amplifier with the method. The slot/balun's structure is simple, has a low profile and easy to construct a conformal antenna or an array. In practical verification, two push-poll LDMOS FET MRF6P3450 are used as the carrier amplifier and peak amplifiers with the transmission lines load network to form a symmetric four-stage Doherty PA. In a CW operation mode, an output power of 800W with a drain efficiency of 62% was achieved. By notching two square-ring slots in the ground plane, and changing the gap width in one of the diagonals of the two slots to achieve dual-band CP radiation. If the perturbations of the two slots are symmetrically placed about the microstrip feeding line, then a dual-sense CP radiation is obtained. The proposed antenna is implemented and measured. The variable parameters are the 3D rotation angle of antennas and the initial environment XPD. Some special rotation cases that are much likely to happen in practices are discussed specifically. In the proposed architecture a pre-distortion filter is applied to balance the phase signals, compensating the suppression beyond the loop bandwidth. By properly balancing the PLL transmission characteristics, the data rate limitation is relieved to the sigma-delta PLL bandwidth. The applicable condition of pre-distortion filter is also analyzed in this paper.
