Su alcance global obedece a que el SARS-CoV-2, su agente etiológico, ha mostrado una alta facilidad para transmitirse entre humanos. Desde entonces, Gobiernos de todas las naciones han desplegado una batería de medidas para disminuir sus consecuencias. De acuerdo con el crecimiento del contagio, se emplean medidas de contención, mitigación o supresión. La base científica de las medidas se deriva del conocimiento de las características biológicas del virus y de sus vías de transmisión. Por tanto, en este trabajo se revisarán la biología del coronavirus, la física de su transmisión y el concepto de dosis de infección que permiten comprender las intervenciones sanitarias empleadas para disminuir los casos y fallecimientos por la enfermedad, especialmente en el contexto latinoamericano.","PeriodicalId":42138,"journal":{"name":"Duazary","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2021-08-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45192030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Para esto se tomó como referente la perspectiva de líderes sociales, proveedores de salud, secretarías de salud y organismos de control. El tipo de estudio fue cualitativo, y el diseño, hermenéutico. Se realizó una entrevista semiestructurada a 17 actores clave. Para la interpretación de datos se usó análisis temático y se hizo validación a partir de la triangulación de investigadores. Se encontró que los participantes reconocen la crisis del sistema de salud, las debilidades en cuanto a la intersectorialidad, la politiquería desde lo barrial hasta la administración municipal, la participación instrumentalizada y las diferencias entre las necesidades de las comunidades y la planeación de las instituciones. Se concluye que es necesario cualificar el trabajo intersectorial en el que se incluyan los mecanismos de participación existentes; sin embargo, estos no tendrán éxito sin la voluntad política de democratizar la participación y sin el empoderamiento ciudadano. En este sentido, es fundamental el fortalecimiento de las organizaciones sociales para consolidar movimientos por la salud que se articulen en torno a las necesidades regionales.","PeriodicalId":42138,"journal":{"name":"Duazary","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2021-08-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68204263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the neonatal period, detection of respiratory warning signs by parents is important, and communication technologies are one of the tools to bring information in real time to caregivers. This article describes a narrative literature review to identify mobile applications on newborn respiratory care, in which MeSH terms were used: infant newborn, childcare, respiratory therapy, telemedicine, eHealth, caregivers and their corresponding DeCS (Spanish and Portuguese). A search protocol in subscribed and free databases was established, that included filters of completeness and quality of the articles. 488 articles were found, to which inclusion and quality criteria were applied, leaving 19 complete articles for reading and analysis. Despite the increasing design of health applications, in the area of neonatal respiratory care, no applications were found that were designed for this purpose and that were specific for caregivers. A prospective descriptive study included patients with non-alcoholic steatosis was performed. The patients were divided in two groups, obese and non-obese. Sociodemographic, anthropometric and the suffering of the components of metabolic syndrome information were obtained. Biochemical parameters and expression leves of theTNF-α, NF-kβ, CYP2E1, TGF-β, OPN, COL4α5 and HGF genes were determined by RT-PCR. Our results showed significant differences in the levels of expression of the CYP2E1 gene, the level of expression being higher in obese patients suffering from complete metabolic syndrome. Furthermore, in non-obese patients with steatosis and without components of the metabolic syndrome, TGF-β is activated as a participant in fibrogen pathways and in obese patients with complete metabolic syndrome, the significant expression level of CYP2E1 could indicate an alarm signal Palabras clave: esteatosis hepática no alcohólica; fibrosis; síndrome metabólico; obesidad; expresión génica.","PeriodicalId":42138,"journal":{"name":"Duazary","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2021-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48716105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With 988 participants from Colombia, Brazil and Portugal. 2.1% of the subjects presented mild anxiety, 85.5% moderate levels, 12% ranged from moderate to severe and 0.3% had an extreme level of anxiety. Suicidal thinking was found at the 57% level; 31.1% moderate, 9.7% marked severe, and 2.2% extreme. Regarding sleep, 14% had good sleep quality, 53.5% poor quality and 32.5% possible sleep disorders. The difference between the values of anxiety and suicidal ideation between countries was not significant. However, there is a significant difference between the distribution of sleep quality values between countries. The differences are mainly between adolescents (<22 years) and other ages. Colombia differs from Brazil and Portugal in terms of quality of sleep. In addition to the health problems brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, this study showed that the adolescent population is more vulnerable to the psychological impacts and quality of sleep in countries of the South American continent.","PeriodicalId":42138,"journal":{"name":"Duazary","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2021-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68204671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
