In 2020, more than 375 thousand deaths attributed to this disease were reported. Nevertheless, these numbers could be drastically reduced if key procedures for early diagnosis such as digital rectal examination are used. However, despite its benefits, low participation in digital rectal examination remains a significant burden due to masculinity beliefs. An alternative to overcome this difficulty is the use of ultrasound scanning and deep learning methods for its processing. Other procedures used for detecting this type of cancer with high probability are the Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) and the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS). Indeed, using such procedures combined will allow higher accuracy in the diagnosis. Therefore, we propose ProstaTest, a system for non-invasive detection of prostate cancer based on IPSS, PSA and prostate ultrasound scanning applying Deep Learning, which altogether allows obtaining an automatic diagnosis with high accuracy. This costs a great amount of resources and time for the fish farmers that take care of this specie. Along the Peruvian rainbow trout egg value chain, the most critical aspect is the death rate that results in lower productivity and, in consequence, lower income for this type of activity. The following article describes the design of two systems: a trout egg sorting machine and a trout egg incubator. The first one includes microcontrollers, electric pumps, computer vision features, sensors, valves and pipes. The other one consists of pipes, valves and sensors. The main aim of this current project is to help rainbow trout egg farmers by providing them a modern way to separate dead fish eggs from the living ones through a Convolutional Neural Network, which is a multilayered architecture and allows to focus on the most relevant features in the image processing. Then, keep the amount of live fish eggs in an appropriate incubator, all together with a group of sensors located around the eggs in order to preserve them for the next step in the rainbow trout hatching. For the design, the theoretical calculations are considered, the dimensioning of the aluminum conductor based on the efficiency of the traditional transformer that uses copper conductors for the electrical substations in the southern area of Lima. For the development of this model, the protocols of seven transformers were used, whose historical data were analyzed and considered to determine the viability, reliability and efficiency of the new 50KVA 10 / 0.23kV transformer ± 5% Dyn5 connection based on aluminum conductors. For these reasons, the objective of the study was to interpret the intercultural attitudes presented by university students in the fourth cycle of pedagogy during the beginning and end of an academic semester at a private university in Lima-Peru. The sample consisted of 74 students who completed a questionnaire of 17 items grouped in the dimensions of racist prejudice, cultural prejudice, and the perception of intercultural education. Thus, by analyzing consumers’ tweets, we have studied their points of view regarding the agri-food short supply chain which is supported by the “De la Chacra a la Olla” Peruvian programme. Sentiment analysis was used on the consumers’ tweets along with the Naïve Bayes technique. A total of 1,223 tweets posted between January 2014 and July 2020 were obtained. Our initial findings were that consumers tweets were mainly influenced by context. Furthermore, we conclude that tweets show only informative content related to time and place. A questionnaire was applied to them to measure the benefits of 5 dimensions: effectiveness, motivation, performance, ubiquity and satisfaction. Today, the companies focus on the communication with each customer in a unique way considering its specific preferences, interests, and individual needs. In this context, a variety of digital signage devices is appearing in the market. This type of product has technologies that are not always fully exploited by their manufacturers and end users. This is the case of the LG Digital Signage devices, which are integrated with a beacon (Bluetooth Low Energy technology-BLE) that is not harnessed by the different content management systems available on the market. On this basis, the research team proposes a content management system which can control the information shown in various LG Digital Signage devices. In addition, to customize the experience, the available beacon in the devices was used to create an interaction between the smartphones of the users and the LG Digital Signage monitor, avoiding direct contact with objects that could be manipulated by others. Consuming the information of an external recommendation engine the necessary information can be obtained. In the experiment, many users were asked to try the system to watch general content as well as the customized one in the available monitors. People who have to work or leave home, put their families at risk because they can infect or transmit the virus. Therefore, this research, conducted under the supervision of the School of Mechatronics Engineering of the Ricardo Palma University, aims to design a mobile robot that emits ultraviolet-UV rays for the disinfection of rooms in houses, in order to disinfect possible contaminated areas. The robot has a mechanical design that consists of 4 mecanum type wheels and a robotic arm of 2 degrees of freedom -DOF. The motion system is controlled by 4 direct current-DC motors and its respective controller, connected to the Raspberry Pi microprocessor, and it is also powered by 2 batteries of 12 V. The robot's function is to sterilize the virus both with its main structure and its extension. This study presents a mechatronic conceptual design using SolidWorks 2020 software for the development of the 3D mechanical systems, Proteus 8 for the technical schematics of the electrical and electronic circuits, and in addition, MATLAB 2020a for the kinematic motion tests of the robotic platform and Gazebo for the motion simulation. This paper has centered on the study of the platform motion and its mechanical design.
