Iancu","doi":"10.24818/aras/2023/4/1.01","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24818/aras/2023/4/1.01","url":null,"abstract":"The present research aims to highlight the importance of implementing the Integrated Management System (IMS) in the General City Hall of Bucharest and, thus, producing positive effects such as: efficient allocation of resources by improving forecasting and planning, increasing the quality of services provided to citizens, improving communication between departments of the institution, reducing the number of complaints made by citizens about the quality of public services, changing the organisational structure by resizing the departments of the institution, increasing the transparency of the decision-making process. The research is based on the combined use of several methods: analysis of official documents (reports, analysis of performance indicators that are established at the level of each department within the City Hall of Municipality of Bucharest (PMB) according to the services they provide to customers/citizens and are reported periodically, being a key tool for the management of the organisation) and opinion survey based on the questionnaire addressed to civil servants within the City Hall. Nastase","doi":"10.24818/aras/2023/4/1.02","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24818/aras/2023/4/1.02","url":null,"abstract":"The COVID-19 pandemic has generated impressive effects on all organisations, especially educational ones, creating a provocative, complex, and totally new environment for practitioners in human resources management (HRM), but also for managers who had to find practical, viable, and ingenious solutions to ensure the continuity of the instructiveeducational process, but also to help its employees adapt to this extraordinary crisis. Since studies addressing this topic are sparse, this study aims to explore the impact that the change in the educational paradigm generated by the COVID19 pandemic has had on HRM, expanding the objective of management research and performance in preuniversity education in Romania. The methodology consist of a SWOT analysis that identifies the main strengths, challenges, and opportunities that have arisen from the new pandemic, offering updated perspectives to HRM practitioners and managers, and regarding the possible development directions at the national level that could arise from these opportunities. Also, a survey opinion was conducted among teachers from Romania, Cyprus, England, Greece, Spain, and Turkey in order to identify to what extent they have knowledge about the following concepts: Human Resource Management and performance in education. With the help of the case study analysis and the empirical research carried out in 22\u0000penitentiaries, on which occasion we interacted and interviewed a number of 74 penitentiary police officers (directors,\u0000surveillance officers, educators, psychologists, priests), we identified the representations of the prison police officers\u0000regarding the life in the detention units. Following this, the case of the Rioja Estates retail outlet centre in Carrigtwohill, County Cork,\u0000will be examined in light of contemporary issues in Irish planning. The study aims to identify and analyze the particularities\u0000regarding strategic planning at the local level, in particular, the way in which the spatial planning process was managed in\u0000Irish local communities. Violation of academic integrity is also known as “academic misconduct” or “academic\u0000dishonesty”. There are different ways of committing acts of violation of academic integrity, but it is important to keep in\u0000mind that committing any of them has consequences that will be reflected in both academic and professional life.\u0000Therefore, it is important to be known, recognized, and avoided. The main aim of our research is to explore the student’s\u0000perception about the ethical norms and academic integrity during the didactical and research activity at their university.\u0000Our findings show that students have knowledge about the academic integrity norms and can respect them, but,\u0000sometimes, if it is easy to obtain the same result, they decide to use the unethical practices (copy-paste, wrong citation,\u0000plagiarism).
