The purpose\nof this research was achieved by adapting and combining three different instruments used in the literature in order to\nevaluate in what extent each factor influences the civil servants’ motivation. The research is based on a quantitative\napproach, and it is an exploratory study that was carried out using a combination of methods: the analysis of the official\nrecords, plus published articles; and the opinion survey based on a questionnaire, employing a convenience sampling, in\norder to design a set of recommendations for improving the current level of motivation among civil servants. The present research identifies the most relevant motivation factors of the civil servants from the Fiscal
