The type of this research is developmental research using a 4 D model. The 4-D model consists of 4 stages of defining, designing, developing, and distributing. This research uses the development model. The methodology used is quantitative descriptive. Likert scale is used in this research as the validity analysis. Furthermore, the practical analysis is achieved from observation instrumental of lesson plan implementation, which written in the observation sheet, and student and teacher response questionnaire.  The result of the research showed that the validity analysis of teaching material is valid. Moreover, the result of lesson plan implementation, teacher response questionnaire, student response questionnaire, categorized to very practical. Kenampakan pasir besi tersebut juga banyak berada di pantai selatan Kulon Progo dan Bantul. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontras anomali besaran fisika atas keberadaan pasir besi dengan menggunakan metode geofisika. Kontras anomali ini digunakan untuk mengidentfikasi penyebaran dan memperkirakan ketebalan pasir besi di daerah studi.Penentuan kontras anomali dengan menggunakan metode magnetik, dan metode geolistrik. Metode magnetik sendiri bertujuan untuk melihat kontras anomali medan magnet total yang disebabkan oleh kontras susceptibilitas batuan yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan arah sebaran pasir besi. Metode geolistik memanfaatkan besaran resistivitas/konduktivitas pada perlapisan sehingga dapat memperkiran kedalaman atau ketebalan lapisan pasir besi tersebut.Hasil interpretasi peta anomali medan magnet total, mencirikan sebaran pasir besi memiliki nilai 86,4 nT sampai 1092,2 nT dan menurut hasil tumpang tindih (overlay) peta geologi dengan peta anomali medan magnet total reduksi ke kutub terlihat bahwa anomali magnetik hampir merata. Hasil interpretasi geolistrik sounding menunjukkan bahwa penyebaran pasir besi dominan mengarah ke timur dengan nilai resistivitas 300 Ωm – 1000 Ωm dan kedalaman pasir besi berada di 5-20 m dibawah permukaan. Bata ringan F terrendah dengan rerata berat 834 kg/m3.  Kuat Tekan tertinggi pada bata ringan G dengan rerata Kuat Tekan 25,58 kg/cm2 (2,56 MPa).  Komposisi campuran pasir silika dan kapur tohor memberikan pengaruh nyata (signifikan) terhadap berat volume dan kuat tekan bata ringan. Dari pengujian kuat tekan, bata ringan dengan komposisi  kapur tohor rendah mempunyai kuat tekan lebih tinggi dari pada komposisi dengan kadar kapur tohor lebih tinggi. Sementara bata ringan dengan variasi komposisi pasir silika tinggi mempunyai kuat tekan lebih tinggi. Semakin besar penggunaan abu terbang batubara dan kapur tohor akan meningkatkan absorpsi dan porositas tetapi akan menurunkan nilai berat volume bata ringan. Semakin besar porositas maka kuat tekan bata ringan akan berkurang. Sintesis dilakukan dengan metodereaksi padatan dengan pencampuran basah. Penelitian ditujukan untuk mengetahui perubahan struktur kisi kristal dari fase Gd1Ba2Cu3O7-δ  jika dilakukan substitusi La terhadap Gd. Hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi dengan X-Ray Diffraction  (XRD). Dengan menggunakan  software Match 3, dan Rietica diperoleh bahwa pada semua sampel telah terbentuk senyawa fase Gd1Ba2Cu3O7-δ dengan struktur kristal bersimetri orthorombik. Dari perubahan nilai parameter kisi kristalnya mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kandungan La mengakibatkan perubahan simetri dari orthorombik menjadi tetragonal. Based on the results of the final score, the rate of successful students was only around 40%. Moreover, students' understanding application is also not by the desired competencies. In this research, a learning model was developed from the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model (CTL), i.e., DILA model which consists of four syntaxes (Display, Inquiry, Learning Community, and Authentic Assessment). The effectiveness of the DILA learning model was investigated to improve students’ learning outcomes in the Applied Physics course. This research employed the quasi-experimental design where the experimental class was treated by DILA model based on Contextual Teaching and Learning; whereas control class was not treated by the model. Data were obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test scores; then it was analyzed by a parametric with an independent t-test, related t-test, and the effect size. The results indicate that there was a significant increase in students’ learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. In conclusion, DILA model can improve students’ learning outcomes in the Applied Physics course effectively.Hasil belajar Fisika Terapan yang diperoleh mahasiswa yang terlihat dari nilai akhir semester dan penerapan pada industri pertambangan pada umumnya tidak memuaskan. Tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa hanya sekitar 40%. Sehingga pemahaman mahasiswa dalam penerapannya juga tidak sesuai dengan kompetensi yang diinginkan. Model DILA merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dari Model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Model DILA terdiri atas empat sintaks yaitu: Display, Inquiry, Learning Community, dan Authenthic Assessment. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengukur efektifitas Model Pembelajaran DILA guna meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah Fisika Terapan. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperiment dimana kelas eksperimen diberikan pembelajaran dengan Model DILA berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning. Data diperoleh dari hasil pre-test dan post-test dan diolah secara parametric dengan t test sample independent dan t test related serta effect sizenya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran DILA yang diterapkan pada matakuliah Fisika Terapan di Jurusan Teknik Pertambangan adalah efektif. This research aims to determine the static and kinetic friction coefficient on several solid cylinder materials. The benefits of this research can be used to develop experimental learning activities on friction coefficient. This research used experimental method. The research was carried out by rolling samples at various inclined plane angles and measuring the traveled distance traveled in one rotation (D). The results showed that the static and kinetic friction coefficients between aluminum cylinder and glass were 0.146 and 0.097, iron cylinder and glass were 0.136 and 0.096, glass cylinder and brass were 0.132 and 0.094, nylon cylinder and glass were 0.101 and 0.090, and stainsless cylinder and glass were 0.122 and 0.094, respectively.Perbedaan tekstur lapisan sebuah benda mempunyai pengaruh pada gaya gesek yang ditimbulkan oleh kedua bidang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai koefisien gesek statis dan koefisien gesek kinetik pada beberapa bahan silinder pejal. Manfaat yang dapat diambil dari hasil penelitian ini adalah dapat digunakan sebagai mengembangkan kegiatan pembelajaran praktikum koefisien gesekan benda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggelindingkan sampel pada berbagai sudut kemiringan dan mengukur jarak tempuh untuk satu kali putaran (D). This research is a quasi-experimental research with Pre-test and Post-test Design. The subjects of this study were class X MAN 3 Malang. The experimental and control classes received PBL models and conventional learning models respectively. The instrument of this study was the Optical Instrument Critical Thinking Ability Test in the form of 14 essay questions with Cronbach’s alpha reliability 0.78. The research data were analyzed using several tests including t-test, N-gain, and size effect tests. Based on the results of the analysis, it was shown that the implementation of the PBL model succeeded in increasing students' critical thinking ability higher than that of conventional learning. The experimental class was able to reach the high N-gain score category, while the control class was in the medium category. The research has a “large” size effect category. This means that the PBL model implemented has a stronger influence than that of conventional learning in improving students' critical thinking ability. Thus, the PBL model can be recommended as an alternative learning model in improving students' critical thinking ability in physics learning on the topic of optical instruments.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengungkap pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi alat optik. Peneitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan Pre-test and Post-test Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MAN 3 Malang. Kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, masing-masing menerima model PBL dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah Tes Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Alat Optik yang berupa 14 butir soal essay dengan reliabilitas alpha Cronbach 0,78. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan beberapa uji antara lain uji-t, N-gain, dan size effect. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model PBL berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa lebih tinggi daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Kelas eksperimen mampu mencapai kategori N-gain score tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol pada kategori medium. Penelitian ini mampu mencapai size effect kategori “besar”. Hal ini berarti model PBL yang diimplementasikan memiliki pengaruh kuat daripada implemnatasi pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. This research type was a research and development by analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model. The results of the validation of content and learning set by the expert indicated valid and reliable categories and can be used with minor revisions or without revisions in Basic Physics learning. The results of critical thinking skills measurement showed a significant increase of N-Gain in the medium category and practical for application in learning. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed the positive responses to Basic Physics learning, and they said that it was easy and practical to use. Basic Physics learning set which was developed in this research met the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness which is promising to be applied as the media of online learning in the higher education system in the era of industrial revolution 4.0.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh seperangkat pembelajaran fisika dasar berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan aplikasi edmodo berplatform android. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dan pengembangan mengikuti langkah – langkah pengembangan model ADDIE antara lain analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Hasil validasi konten dari ahli media menyatakan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran memiliki kategori valid dan reliabel serta dapat digunakan dengan revisi kecil atau tanpa revisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dengan N-Gain kategori sedang, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran memiliki kategori efektif. Hasil angket tentang  respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran fisika dasar adalah positif dan mudah digunakan, hal ini menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran memiliki kategori praktis. The bird’s brain contains a chemical called cryptochromes which has two of its electrons entangled through collision with photons. These two electrons hop between singlet and triplet states. This hopping is sensitive to the earth’s magnetic field causing different signals to be transferred to its brain. It is believed that these birds use quantum entanglement for their navigations. We also discuss the importance of this phenomenon in trying to find the origin of life. We also explain the view of some who believe that quantum field is well entrenched in the origin of life and that we have to look for a quantum self-replicator that can repeat itself.Hasil penelitian ini mencoba menjelaskan fenomena kuantum yang aneh pada ranah biologi dimana burung robin eropa bernavigasi menggunakannya. Otak burung tersebut mengandung material kimia yang disebut dengan cryptochromes yang mempunyai dua buah elektron yang terjebak dalam pengaruh interaksi tumbukan antara elektron tersebut dengan foton. Dua elektron tersebut melompat di antara keadaan singlet dan triplet. Lompatan ini dipengaruhi oleh medan magnetik bumi yang memberikan sinyal berbeda-beda untuk ditransfer ke otaknya. Burung-burung ini diyakini menggunakan prinsip pengaruh kuantum untuk navigasinya. Kami juga mengungkap pentingnya fenomena ini dalam usaha mencari asal mula kehidupan. Therefore it is necessary to optimize the experimental tool in physics learning, especially in the learning of mechanical energy to facilitate understanding the concept. Technology research is growing rapidly and is able to contextually present abstract phenomena that are sensor-based technology and one of them is an ultrasonic sensor. This study aims to develop a mechanical energy experimental tool using ultrasonic sensors to facilitate students in understanding the concept of energy. The development of the experimental tool used research and development methods. To test the feasibility of the experimental tool developed and the accompanying practicum module, a series of feasibility tests have been carried out including calibration tests, feasibility tests by physicists, and empirical tests by users. The instrument used is a checklist item compiled based on the standard indicators of the feasibility of an experimental tool. The results of the development showed that the experimental tool had a precision percentage of 98.1% and a high accuracy of 99.99% with a value of t = (0.383 ± 383X10-4) s. Based on the feasibility test by physicists 93.75% of indicators as standardized experimental tools have been achieved, as well as the experimental modules fulfilling 90.90% of the standard set. Similar results were also report by users that the experimental tool was feasible to be used in schools’ level, but there were still obstacles related to the sensitive nature of ultrasonic sensors with surrounding movements and constraints in making variable variations to be tested which had an impact on the less optimal graphic display.Energi merupakan salah satu konsep dasar fisika yang memiliki sifat abstrak yang sulit ditangkap makna fisisnya oleh siswa. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan optimalisasi alat eksperimen dalam pembelajaran fisika khususnya dalam pembelajaran energi mekanik untuk mempermudah pemahaman konsep tersebut. Penelitian bidang teknologi yang berkembang pesat dan mampu menghadirkan secara kontekstual fenomena yang abstrak adalah teknologi berbasis sensor dan salah satunya adalah sensor ultrasonik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat eksperimen energi mekanik dengan menggunakan sensor ultrasonik untuk memfasilitasi siswa dalam memahami konsep energi. Pengembangan alat eksperimen ini menggunakan metode research and development. Untuk menguji kelayakan alat eksperimen yang dikembangkan dan modul praktikum yang menyertainya, maka telah dilakukan serangkaian uji kelayakan termasuk uji kalibrasi, uji kelayakan oleh ahli fisika, dan uji empiris oleh pengguna. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah item checklist yang disusun berdasarkan indikator baku kelayakan suatu alat eksperimen.
