Using this approach, a unified set of empirical pair interaction potentials for simulation of uranium carbide crystals UnCm in the ionic approximation by the method of molecular dynamics is obtained. The potential parameters are determined from the experimental values of the lattice constant and the UC, U2C3, UC2 bulk compression moduli, as well as the linear expansion coefficient of UC crystal at room temperature. The temperature dependences of the lattice constants and the coefficients of linear expansion of the model uranium carbide nanocrystals are calculated using the suggested potentials. The dependence of the melting temperature of the model nanocrystals on composition is also discussed.","PeriodicalId":418936,"journal":{"name":"PHYSICS, TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATION (PTI-2019): Proceedings of the VI International Young Researchers’ Conference","volume":"52 359 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126159721","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The complex of spectroscopic methods was applied. Emission upon X-ray and cathode beam excitation in the near IR and VIS-UV ranges as well as photoluminescence excitation spectra in region of 3.5 – 6.0 eV were studied. For this Pr3+- doped triple borates, the interconfigurational 4f15d→4f2 radiation transitions with nanosecond decay kinetics (τ ≈ 16 ns) were detected. Besides both the intraconfigurational 4f2 → 4f2 transitions and defect-related luminescence in visible and near IR regions were analyzed. Thermoluminescence glow was measured and parameters of charge carriers traps were determined.","PeriodicalId":418936,"journal":{"name":"PHYSICS, TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATION (PTI-2019): Proceedings of the VI International Young Researchers’ Conference","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132363367","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For such robots, tomato detection is a basic operation of visual control which provides the correct target object for precise moving of the end-effector or gripper. The tomatoes were chosen to perform this research work not only because they occupy the second place in agriculture after potatoes, but also due to their simple round shape and the apparent red color of the ripe fruit. In this study, an algorithm for automatic detection of ripe tomato and discrimination it from the natural background is proposed. The proposed algorithm is based on image processing procedures and starts with translating original color photograph to grayscale image for further treatment. An algorithm of red tomatoes detection was developed and verified using special functions and inbuilt scripting language of Matlab software.","PeriodicalId":418936,"journal":{"name":"PHYSICS, TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATION (PTI-2019): Proceedings of the VI International Young Researchers’ Conference","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115273145","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
