However multi-view video coding has a problem of having higher complexity compared to the single-view video coding due to the above mentioned property. In this paper, we propose a fast mode decision using region analysis to reduce the computational complexity of the encoding process. Experimental results shows that computational time of about 15% ~ 22% could be saved compared to the JMVC 3.0. And it has only negligible coding efficiency losses.","PeriodicalId":417068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Processing and Management","volume":"116 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124135493","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In practice, however, this assumption is not valid due to coupled queues effect. In this paper, we investigate the influence brought by coupled queues and propose an accurate delay model for IEEE 802.11-based networks under nonsaturated condition. The simulations show the accuracy of the analytical model.","PeriodicalId":417068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Processing and Management","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114909975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent years we have seen wide-scope potential applications of IDEs in various scientific fields, such as impulsive control [17], impulsive synchronization [18], etc. Recent years, research on chaotification (chaos anticontrol) has seen in rapid evolution and extension toward engineering applications. Chaotifying discrete-time system has been rigorously developed in [3, 4]. Liu and Guan [13, 14] chaotify discrete system via impulsive control. Unlike the discrete case, however, chaotification in continuous flows is very complicated and difficult. Chen and Yang [5] chaotify a continuous system near stable limit cycle. Yang [16] and Jiang [10] chaotify a continuous nonlinear system via impulsive input. Shu [15] chaotified a linear hyperbolic system of partial differential equations by means of nonlinear boundary reflection. Chaotification of some specific linear system via impulsive control was investigated in [6, 7, 11]. In this paper, a linear system, which dynamics is very simple, is used to build a linear impulsive system. The purpose of this letter is to find the condition of chaos theoretically by using discrete dynamical system in linear impulsive system. The organization of this paper is as follows. A linear system with impulses at fixed time is introduced and a discrete dynamical system is obtained and the conditions of existence of chaos are discussed in section 2. In section 3, numerical results, such as time-series plot, chaotic attractors are given by some examples. Finally, in section 4 we present a brief conclusion.","PeriodicalId":417068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Processing and Management","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122204200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are concentrated on customer satisfaction. Although TQM is compatible with the customer relationship environment, constructive interactivity also adds harmonious value. Today, companies are challenging each other, not only to win customers but also to gain customers from competitors from a variety of business channels. Companies encountering complaints are exposed to loss of customers and revenue. In response a system to handle the complaints in an effective way is more than desirable. Too commonly, due to the complexity of business processes, companies suffer from lack of interactivity and weak customer loyalty. In this paper, using TQM and interactivity within the CRM environment, we attempt to increase the level of customer retention. We then provide a secure environment for a myriad of transactions comprising virtual or physical exchanges. This is intended to diminish the level of customer complaints and mitigate threats to the business from complaints received. We benefit from a conceptual framework to identify the problematic areas. We conclude this study with enhancement of customer satisfaction, profitability of the company as well as proper control over customers using a conceptual framework.","PeriodicalId":417068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Processing and Management","volume":"191 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132883092","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This inefficient configuration is unfortunately still the case in a lot of urban areas, where most of the traffic lights are based on a 'fixed cycle' protocol. To improve the traffic light configuration, this paper proposed monitoring system to be as an additional component (or additional subsystem) to the intelligent traffic light system, this component will be able to determine three street cases (empty street case, normal street case and crowded street case) by using small associative memory. The proposed monitoring system is working in two phases: training phase and recognition phase. The experiments presented promising results when the proposed approach was applied by using a program to monitor one intersection in Penang Island in Malaysia. The program could determine all street cases with different weather conditions depending on the stream of images, which are extracted from the streets video cameras. In addition, the observations which are pointed out to the proposed approach show a high flexibility to learn all the street cases using a few training images, thus the adaptation to any intersection can be done quickly.","PeriodicalId":417068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Processing and Management","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134051027","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But there are two key factors directly influencing the outcomes of an ensemble: accuracy of each single member and diversity between the members. There have been many approaches used in the literature to create the mentioned diversity. In this paper, we add to them a novel approach, in which classifier type variance is utilized along with feature subset diversification to create a high diversity ensemble of different classifiers and the ensemble is optimized using a multi-objective evolutionary algorithm. The suggested approach outperformed existing ones in experiments conducted on some standard datasets.","PeriodicalId":417068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Processing and Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121412709","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Filtering is different from forecasting as forecasting is made for predicting the future while filtering aims the estimation of unobservable parameters in the same period. For techniques as Kalman filters, on one hand, it can help to filter away the “noisy order”, revealing the true state of limit order book. On the other hand, it can be also use for prediction of state for next time step. In this paper, we estimate the limit order book using gamma distribution. Then each order book snapshot can be described using four parameters. After that, the basic filter is introduced with applications to disclose the pattern in limit order book.","PeriodicalId":417068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information Processing and Management","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127619455","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Especially sellers are not willing to participate in an e-market because of the pressure of competition in electronic trade world. So, for preventing sellers to leave e-market and analysis their situation, we considered a seller center B2B electronic market. Using game theory approaches is a way for analyzing this kind of markets. So, this method is used here. Profit and cost for both form of game -cooperative and non-cooperativeare calculated and compared based on a case.
