This study aims to determine the factors causing pending claims at Tidar Hospital, Magelang City 2021. This research is a descriptive study, with a retrospective approach. The sample is 805 claim files that have pending claims using the saturated sample technique. The research instrument was interview guide and observation guide. Data processing with classification, editing, and data presentation in the form of text and tabulation. The implementation of BPJS claims at Tidar Public Hospital, Magelang has been implemented and has implemented the existing SOPs. The classification of pending BPJS claims for inpatients at Tidar Public Hospital, Magelang, includes: Coding, Clinical, and Administrative. The causes of pending claims for medical records of inpatients at Tidar Public Hospital, Magelang, among others, are because the Man element is an officer related to the implementation of claims, Material is the completeness of the claim requirements file, and Machine is the supporting facilities and infrastructure in the service. The claim implementation at Tidar Public Hospital, Magelang, has been carried out in accordance with the existing SOP, but there are still files that are returned by BPJS for repairs because the Coding, Clinical, and administrative aspects are caused by Man, Material, Machine factors. The author suggests that coding training should be held for special officers for BPJS claims, Conducted socialization of Incomplete Filling of Medical Records (KLPCM) to Medical Personnel who collaborate with medical records to improve quality and reduce the impact of pending claims due to clinical aspects, It is advisable to update the system to reduce the impact of systems that often have errors and slow networks because they can interfere with hospital service activities.","PeriodicalId":415761,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding of International Conference on Science, Health, And Technology","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130576890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the preliminary study, it was found that 19.5% of the claims filed were pending in inpatient claims and 31% were due to coding cases. This study was conducted to determine pending claims due to coding discrepancies in hospitalized National Health Insurance patients. \u0000This is a case study research type with a qualitative research design. Data were taken by observation and interviews with the head of the medical record installation room, coding officer, head of the guarantee installation room, and the verifier of the Health Insurance Administration. The data collected, presented descriptively, and analyzed using content analysis techniques. \u0000The results showed that the coding of claim files had been carried out according to hospital standards. Submission of the claim file is carried out after verification by the internal verifier. The pending claim occurs due to a mismatch in coding caused by the need for a join code, an error in determining the main diagnosis, the need for confirmation of the action code, and the need for confirmation of supporting reports. Other influencing factors are support from colleagues, technology support, limited knowledge, and lack of staff training, as well as system changes and problematic servers both from hospitals and from Health Insurance Providers. \u0000The conclusion is that there are still pending claims caused by coding cases, so it is better for officers to take coding training and perform server maintenance.","PeriodicalId":415761,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding of International Conference on Science, Health, And Technology","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130150111","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This situation is represented by the z-score of height for age (TB/U) less than -2 standard deviations (SD). The current method used to determine the presence of stunting in toddlers is to use Health Card. The way to do this is by weighing toddlers every month, the weighing results are recorded in the Health Card, and between the weight points from last month's weighing results and this month's weighing results are connected by a line. The series of children's growth lines form a child's growth graph. This procedure is of course less effective. In addition, midwives can differ from one another in determining stunting status in toddlers. The research aims to conduct early detection of stunting in toddlers based on anthropometry using an intelligent system. This research includes 3 (three) main things. The first is the development of software for managing children's medical record data. The second is the development of software for early detection of stunting using the Support Vector Machine (SVM). The third is the development of graph software for toddler anthropometric data development. The results of this study are expected to provide a tool for posyandu cadres and midwives in early detection of stunting in toddlers.","PeriodicalId":415761,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding of International Conference on Science, Health, And Technology","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114075148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
