The experimental method was used in documenting and assessing the Science vocabulary performance of the Grade six students. It was also experimental because it sought the discovery of the science vocabulary performance of the experimental group exposed to given intervention compared to the science vocabulary performance of the control group, which not given an intervening variable. The results of the study found out that the experimental group registered a higher mean difference of 2.85 compared to control group with mean difference of 0.79. Comparing the pretest and posttest of the both group, the experimental group have as significant change in scores after the intervention. Leow","doi":"10.22161/jhed.1.2.4","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22161/jhed.1.2.4","url":null,"abstract":"This paper reviews monitoring studies of chemical pollutant in the Straits of Johore, especially in Pasir Gudang area. The Kim Kim River chemical waste pollution occurred in March 2019 is reviewed for comparison with the previously reported scientific data. It is concluded that reporting monitoring data in the scientific literature is just a knowledge sharing without any practical implications. Only heavy pollution cases involving human health implications would trigger governing bodies immediate actions. Therefore, reports of scientific monitoring data should be treated with high importance and governing bodies should be working closely with those researchers for the benefits of public at large. This study was limited to the mathematical anxiety, self-efficacy and mathematical performance of the 19 grade seven students of Telesforo and Natividad Alfonso High School for the school year 2016-2017. \u0000The coverage of this study was the third grading period geometry lesson and its main goal was to determine the problems that contribute to the mathematical anxiety and respondents’ self-efficacy and its effect on their performance. Most especially, its major aim was to increase the students’ self-efficacy and decrease their anxiety using touch math and instructional games strategies. As drawn from the results of the study, touch math on instruction and instructional games on assessment positively decreased students’ mathematical anxiety, negatively increased their self-efficacy, and developed their academic performance. The survey involved 42 university students (fourth year in Chemical Engineering and Sustainability Energy Department, UNIMAS) where all of them were tested before and after the class through a 10 questions quiz as assessment. From this quiz assessment, only 50% (21 students) of the students managed to answer at least 7 questions correctly before the lecture was delivered. After delivering lecture, 100% (42 students) of the students managed to answer 10 questions correctly. This study described the professional quality of life of the college teachers in terms of compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue. This study ascertained the relationship of socio demographic profile of the college teachers and their professional quality of life. This study used a quantitative-descriptive method of research. Convenience sampling was used in this study. A total of 76 college instructors were surveyed (44 from public schools and 32 from private schools). Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the college teachers have high compassion satisfaction for getting satisfaction from being able to teach people, being proud of what they can do to teach, and being happy to their chosen profession. These college teachers have exposure work related secondary traumatic stress on a moderate degree level by having a feeling of worn out because of their work as a teacher and feeling overwhelmed because of their teaching load and other work-related activities. However, the height growth rate of Vietnamese people is still slower than in other countries in the world and the region.
