Las dimensiones estructural y territorial de la condición juvenil rural permiten comprender la crisis que se cierne sobre las juventudes rurales y sobre las nuevas generaciones, a partir de la examinacióndel sistemade monocultivo de maíz y de explorar sus afectaciones socioambientales; mientras que la dimensión intersubjetiva nos da un panorama sobre la vida cotidiana de las juventudes, las relaciones intergeneracionales y sus conflictos ante tal escenario. Este trabajo se interesa por las formas de democracia y sus titubeos históricos desde Mesopotamia hasta Silicon Valley, pasando por el resurgir de la Revolución Francesa y sus efectos. El objetivo es analizar cómo se ha materializado la democracia en diferentes épocas con casos que ilustran estas variaciones. Se utiliza el método histórico-comparativo y la recogida de datos consiste en recabar indicios de “democracia” desde la Antigüedad hasta nuestros días, mediante revisión bibliográfica de las aportaciones de autores de diversas especialidades. Los resultados son diversos y la introducción de la democracia coincide históricamente como respuesta a situaciones contradictorias y negativas para gran parte de la población. La revisión bibliográfica y documental que soportó el documento hiso énfasis en los materiales generados en el marco de las organizaciones internaciones al tenor de Naciones Unidas, particularmente la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación (FAO). Se concluye que es posible y pertinente imaginar normas jurídicas que a la par de recuperar la especificidad de las cosas recuperen la prioridad de las necesidades sociales, en primer lugar, el derecho a la alimentación, cuestión que reformula el papel de la tierra;la clave está en la afirmación de que los recursos vitales no son mercancías como cualquier otra. El hecho de que un bien sea apropiado no impide que se considere “destinado” y que un cierto número de personas se beneficien de él en virtud de este propósito común o colectivo. Adorno’s negative dialectics. Methodologically, a conceptual framework has been developed to establish the possible communicating vessels between the different elaborations on decolonial thinking and Adorno’s theoretical production. Bearing in mind the Castro-Gómez critique of Foucault, this approach disassociates itself from the idea that a thinker is Eurocentric on the mere basis of the locus of enunciation. This work posits that it is perfectly feasible to find an analytical exercise that allows a closer approach to Adorno’s thinking. This implies a paradoxical double movement in the analysis. To assess the impact of foreign direct investment motivation on local economies, the author interviewed companies operating in Georgia in 2009-2016.Then, because the measurement scales used in the survey were mainly binary and ordinary, the author used ProbiT Regression and Ordered ProbiT Regression models. Results obtained from surveys and from analyses using regression equations show that natural resource-seeking companies use local goods and services in their production processes; this is expressed in their linkages with local suppliers and distributors.  Conclusions are that foreign direct investments in Georgia have no significant influence on the development of local organizations and innovations. Es un punto focal en los sistemas de valores actuales, asi como en las politicas nacionales, sectoriales y organizativas, y tambien es un tema recurrente que se utiliza a fondo en las estrategias actuales de crianza y educacion de los hijos. Dado que las instituciones de educacion superior (IES) y los centros de investigacion son considerados, en general, como entidades que marcan la pauta en muchos aspectos de nuestras vidas, tambien representan el centro de nuestra investigacion sobre el “equilibrio de genero”. En este trabajo se analizan las IES rumanas para determi¬nar el nivel de equilibrio de genero en las IES rumanas en general, y a continuacion cen-tramos nuestra atencion en la Universidad Alexandru Ioan Cuza de Iasi (UAIC) como caso de estudio representativo para las IES rumanas. En este sentido, el documento emplea un enfoque multi-metodo basado en analisis cuantitativos y entrevistas. Los resultados revelan que las mujeres estan bien representadas en los puestos academicos y de investigacion tanto en las IES rumanas como en la UAIC, con dos excepciones: profesora titular y directora de proyectos de I+D, que en general estan dominados por hombres. espanolGender equality, enshrined in European treaties, is one of the fundamental values of the European Union. It is a focal point in today’s value systems as well as national, sectorial and organizational policies, and it is also a recurrent theme thoroughly used in current parenting and education strategies. Given that higher education institutions (HEIs) and research centers are considered, in general, to be entities that lead the way in many aspects of our lives, they also represent the focus of our investigation on ‘gender balance’. In this paper we look at the Romanian HEIs to determine the level of gender balance in Romanian HEIs in general, and then we concentrate our attention on the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (UAIC) as a representative case study for the Romanian HEIs. Finally, we highlight the role that research and development projects may play in promoting gender balance at UAIC. In this regard, the paper employs a multi method approach based on quantitative analyses and interviews. We will analyze the ways of living of bicycle activists, more specifically the emotions they display, the policies they articulate and the identities they rethink. We will try to understand how their subjectivities arise and strengthen, tracing the importance of concepts such as body, technology and mobility. Methodologically, we will use qualitative techniques such as ethnographic fieldwork, in-depth interviews and life history. Analyzing their speeches and describing their everyday life, ethnography will allow us to understand how activists produce other ways of living that try to resist -practically and symbolically- the cultural logic of neoliberalism. After delimiting the Gong-Movieplay record label, the study analyzes promotional strategies of legitimizing “roots” and “tradition” against the Anglo-Saxon “other”, and examines the inter-textual framework associated with “our music”. Taking into account written, oral and sonorous sources, the theoretical-methodological techniquesemployed address the relationships amongmusic, politics and identity, analysis of recorded song, and inter-textuality. In one instance, results show the influence of emancipatory and anti-imperialistic political discourses of the left of this period on the promotion of“rock with roots”. In another instance, interactions between both labels in relation to the national question show that “Andalusian rock” is capable ofarticulating imagines- complementary or opposed - on the idea of Andalusia and Spain. For this, we apply a qualitative approach focusing on cultural history along with contributions from visual studies that highlight the value of image as a social symbol. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar el efecto de los anuncios de eventos financieros a traves de los medios de comunicacion social, en concreto Twitter, sobre el rendimiento de las acciones del Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 Index. Nuestras preguntas de investigacion fueron probadas en una muestra de 833 observaciones de eventos recuperadas de las cuentas oficiales de Twitter durante dos anos (1 de enero de 2014 - 16 de febrero de 2016). La prueba se centro en el seguimiento del comportamiento de la devolucion de existencias en el dia del evento (dia 0), en la ventana previa al evento y en la ventana posterior al evento utilizando la metodologia de estudio del evento. Este estudio encontro que existe una relacion significativa entre los precios de las acciones y los eventos anunciados a traves de Twitter, el tipo de tweets, las categorias de noticias y la intensidad de los tweets de la compania involucrada. La clasificacion basada en la industria de la compania anunciante no tenia una relacion significativa con el comportamiento de la rentabilidad del mercado de valores. EnglishThe announcement of a certain event taking place may be important and impactful with regard to the stock market and share prices, even more than the effectiveness and significance of the event itself. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of financial event announcements via social media, specifically Twitter, on share returns of stocks on the Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 Index. Our research questions were tested on a sample of 833 event observations retrieved from official Twitter accounts for two years (1 January 2014 - 16 February 2016). The test was concerned with tracking stock return behavior on the event day (day 0), the pre-event window and the post-event window using the event-study methodology. This study found that there is a significant relationship between share prices and the events announced via Twitter, the type of tweets, news categories and tweeting intensity of the company involved.
