Financial institutions and regulators are – from a technical point of view - not fully integrated and automated yet. The inaccuracy in banks’ data and the long set interval period, quarterly, to send the information to the regulators leads to delays interventions by local supervisory regulators. Most of the banks are using an Internal Ratings Based (IRB) approach that allows them to use their own methods to calculate the credit risks, which makes it difficult for the regulators to verify and validate the banks’ data without adopting fully automated connectivity for the regulatory reporting system through sophisticated tools. The importance of this issue, for the central banks as well as the global economy, encourages us to investigate and to find solutions for the problem at hand. This paper is focused on the Advanced Internal Ratings Based (A-IRB) approach to evaluate credit risk due to the importance and the sensitivity of this approach on the banking sector. The flexibility of the A-IRB approach allow banks to use their own method to calculate the credit risk without regulators having the right tools to validate the data is a major issue . The second issue with the A-IRB approach is that the report is only delivered quarterly to the regulator (SAMA). This period is too long as decisions can be taken based on data that is almost a quarter old. Therefore, evaluating the existing framework and solving the issues concurrently is essential to improve the regulatory reporting system. To examine the situation of the regulatory reporting system, first, we reviewed literature on the Basel II&III regulations and the financial crisis, including impacts and responses. The second, we reviewed factors impeding the implementation of Basel II&III, including solutions to increase coordination and integration and a holistic approach that can mitigate the outstanding issues for the Regulatory Reporting System for the local banks in Saudi Arabia. We also evaluated the current system and the proposed system in two workshops and found that the proposed system showed considerable improvements of more than 100% in some areas and hence should be implemented. Our result is a framework solution that integrates a private cloud computing network with automated and integrated features such as a Business Process Manager, a Knowledge Management Engine, a SLA Lifecycle Manager, a Business Rules Engine and a Data Quality Regulator and the Enterprise Service Bus for communication and integration between the banks and SAMA. Therefore, Computer Assisted Learning is used for our study to teach operating computer numerical controlled lathe machine in computer integrated manufacturing lab. Our education is planned in major phases: traditional teaching and computer assisted learning. Before the education students took a questionnaire with different subscales to determine the level of readiness for learning. And after the education they took a test on operating the lathe machine to measure the success of the education. Then the students were asked to design a project. This education is a comprehensive one and it is not always possible to make all students use the lathe machine since there can be some issues on safety, time management and waste of products. So with this study it is intended to determine the effect of readiness for learning and academic success on the students and give this education accordingly. A dichotomous classification problem is constructed with the subscales of readiness for learning questionnaire and academic success as features and lathe test result as class labels. Consequently, a model that can determine whether a student would be successful in learning to operate the lathe machine with the subscales of the readiness for learning questionnaire (motivation, health – nutrition, learning, planned working, efficient reading, writing, listening, note taking, attending a course, preparation and attending an exam) and GPA is constructed with Support Vector Machines and leave-one-out cross validation. Ali","doi":"10.18844/gjit.v6i1.385","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18844/gjit.v6i1.385","url":null,"abstract":"The paper presents an original stern shapes design which obtaining a good distribution of the ship wake able to reduce the drag. The paper begins to present the problems directly and reversely, physical mathematical shaping and the numerical implementation (including the precision of numerical approach). For this purpose, the imagining of a current tube is suggested, with increasing variable cylindrical sections, which starts from the disk in front of the propeller, extends towards the prow, very close to the cylindrical area and which includes the entire stern section of a classic hull having practiced cross corrugated sections). Certainly, the dynamics of a cavity propeller depends on the work environment system. The flow field around a propeller mounted on the ship is very different to the one that a propeller develops when tested in free water or in a section of a cavitation tunnel. A propeller with a very performance in free water may not be right for a stern shape of a hull of the given ship. For this reason, the ship wake distribution in the propeller disk plan represents a key factor for a ship design. The study tries to draw attention and briefly focuses on ships hull’s stern flows in the light of two absolutely strict original ideas (concepts) in ship hydrodynamics, belonging to the author: 1.a new stern hydrodynamic concept (NSHC), with radial crenellated-corrugated sections 2. using of an inverse piezoelectric effect [(electric current→high-frequency power generator→ piezoelectric driver made of certain ceramic material, which induces an elliptical vibratory movement (high frequency over 20 kHz), into the elastic side plates (15 mm thickness) in the streamlines direction (of the external flowing water)], able to reduce the total forward resistance. Resuming, it can be concluded that the new concept of stern shape proposed as well as the reverse mathematical problem presented above for its optimization, based on the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm seem to be reasonable. Finally, the most important, until now, proved result, is the reducing of propeller cavitation (working in the simulated nominal wake of the hull using the new shape stern.","PeriodicalId":415182,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal on Technology","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127129075","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also called opinion mining, the field is becoming crucial for various application areas including market researches, politics, sociology and economics. Therefore, many outstanding research efforts are performed on the fields including both theoretical and practical aspects. This paper aims to develop a supportive framework for sentiment analysis, focusing on the similarity of opinion holders in a massive dataset. We used ecommerce review dataset of Amazon spanning May 1996 – July 2014. The whole review set includes more than 140 million entries. As a preprocessing task each review is structured and expressed on a quadruple form of 4 dimensions: Target entity, opinion holder, sentiment and time. The aim of this study is to find out similar opinion holders for a given customer on a certain product in real time. We have defined a new method spanning all the opinions of an individual. The idea behind this calculation of similarity is rating of the same product with the same sentiment factor by two different opinion holders. The real-time calculation is also performed on Hadoop clusters. Performance enhancements and accuracy rates are then discussed.","PeriodicalId":415182,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal on Technology","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116046266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
