In particular, the possibility of developing contrast nephropathy with the use of X-ray contrast agents and the possibility of developing AKF as a result of the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is being studied. The authors investigate the main causes of acute kidney failure associated with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and give recommendations for the prevention of these complications. In particular, precautions are discussed when using contrast agents and the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The article also discusses various methods of diagnosis of acute kidney failure and methods of treatment of this condition. The authors emphasize that early detection and treatment of AKF can significantly reduce the risk of complications and improve the prognosis for patients. In addition, the article also emphasizes the importance of preventing acute kidney failure, especially in patients at increased risk of developing this condition, such as the elderly, patients with diabetic nephropathy and patients with concomitant diseases. The author notes that rehabilitation of patients after injuries of the musculoskeletal system is a complex and multifaceted process that includes many approaches and techniques. Each patient has his own individual picture of the damage, so the approach to his treatment and rehabilitation should be individual and comprehensive. Modern rehabilitation methods, such as virtual reality, robotics, transcranial magnetic stimulation, Internet of Things technologies, stem cells and three-dimensional printing, provide new opportunities for effective rehabilitation of patients after injuries of the musculoskeletal system. However, it is important to remember that each of these methods has its advantages and disadvantages, and the choice of method should be based on the individual characteristics of the patient. In addition, psychological support and support of the relatives are equally important components of the rehabilitation process. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of denture loading on teeth previously exposed to periodontal treatment with additional photo-disinfection. Twelve partially edentulous patients classified as having mandibular Kennedy Class I arches were included. In each quadrant of the mandibular arch, the terminal abutment was diagnosed to have untreated chronic periodontitis. Initially, all the affected abutments received a conservative periodontal treatment in form of scaling and conventional root debridement. Patients were randomly received additional treatment with photodynamic therapy in one of the mandibular quadrants (test group). After the periodontal treatment, a 4-week load-free period was planned. Mandibular distal extension RPDs was fabricated to restore the missing teeth. The clinical periodontal parameters including plaque index (PI), gingival index (GI), gingival recession (GR), probing pocket depth (PD), clinical attachment level (CAL) and tooth mobility (TM) were assessed at baseline, and then for two additional 6-month recall appointments over a period of twelve months after prosthetic treatment. In addition, the mean annual vertical bone loss was also assessed. Except for the PI, GR, and PD, values for the mean GI, CAL, and TM scores at the test group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Better annual vertical bone loss results were observed on the proximal sides of abutments treated with additional photodynamic therapy. The research group consists of 24 male volunteer athletes licensed in the tennis branch. Athletes in the research group were trained for endurance and tennis, three days a week and 85 minutes a day for eight weeks. Height, body weight, leg strength, hand grip strength, vertical jump, speed, flexibility and agility values were measured for the research group at the beginning and end of the training. SPSS statistical package program was used in the analysis of the data. Significance was accepted as p>0.05. As a result of the research, tennis players; It was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the leg strength, hand grip strength, vertical jump, flexibility, agility, ten and thirty meters values (p<0.05). As a result, it has been seen that regular and planned tennis and endurance trainings during the preparation period affect the physical parameters of the athletes positively. Purpose: To investigate the effects of COVID-19 on the quality of life (QoL) in the general Saudi population and assess the influence of perceived social support. Design: Cross-sectional research was carried out on a sample of Saudi Arabian individuals. Participants: Three-hundred-forty-seven adults voluntarily participated in and completed the survey. Methods: This cross-sectional study used a nameless online survey. Outcome measures: QoL was measured using the Short-Form 36-item Survey (SF-36). The SF-36 comprises 36 measures that assess subjective mental, social, and physical health. Data analysis: Two multiple regression analyses were performed on all 35 variables and one response. Result: Most respondents are neutral about the effect of the COVID-19 infection on their overall health. Regarding their feelings, the average respondent has been nervous, energized, depressed, calm, faithful, sad, frustrated, tired and has had a physiological problem during the 4-weeks infection period. Conclusion: We detected a statistically significant correlation between the COVID-19 score and the QoL score. Aim: Hence, this study is aimed to evaluate the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties of Cyanthillium cinereum in two groups. Methodology: The oral pathogens such as Streptococcus mutans, Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus faecalis and C. albicans were used to assess the antimicrobial efficacy of Cyanthillium cinereum in two groups(Group 1 - Aqueous extract of C.Cinereum leaves; Group 2 – C.Cinereum whole plant using agar well diffusion method at various concentrations that ranges from 25 µL, 50 µL and 100 µL. Anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated using protein denaturation assay. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 23. Independent t test and One-way ANOVA were used for measure between group analysis and Repeated measures ANOVA were used for measure within group analysis. Results: Increasing the concentration increases the response too against oral microbes. Group 1 shows better antimicrobial properties than group 2. Statistically significant differences were found on all concentrations taken into consideration. Whereas both the groups show equal anti-inflammatory activity when compared with diclofenac. Statistically significant difference was found on all comparisons except Group 1 versus Group 2 in all the concentrations (p=0.358). Conclusion: The study revealed that C.Cinereum leaves exhibit strong antimicrobial activity against oral microbes except Candida albicans. Both Group 1 and Group 2 exhibit better anti-inflammatory activity than standard values. According to the author, oral health is much more than beautiful and healthy teeth. This is of fundamental importance for the general state of health and affects the well-being and quality of life of each person. Oral health affects oral function and human social interactions and is closely related to overall health and quality of life. Oral health is an integral part of overall health, and one affects the other. Improper nutrition, smoking, alcohol consumption and poor oral hygiene are the most significant factors affecting the occurrence of various diseases of the oral cavity. Diet affects the development of caries, tooth erosion, periodontitis, oral cancer and many other diseases of the soft tissues of the oral cavity. Smoking is associated with oral cancer, gum and periodontal diseases, periimplantitis, discoloration of teeth, bad breath, changes in taste buds and difficulties healing wounds after surgery. High alcohol consumption is associated with an increased risk of developing oral cancer or other potentially malignant diseases, periodontitis, caries and xerostomia. Poor oral hygiene can lead to the development of caries and periodontitis, and is also associated with heart disease, cancer and diabetes. Many of these oral diseases can be prevented by informing about risk factors. Oral hygiene is a critical factor in maintaining good oral health and is therefore linked to overall health and quality of life.
