This paper deals with an examination of the topography data from the Mars orbiter laser altimeter (MOLA). MOLA data to be processed is massive and 3D dimensional but the obtained resolution of the martian surface is limited to the altimeter data density, especially along the cross-track directions. Therefor a tensor representation can be used to model these types of noise. In this paper an approach to assessing along-track and crosstrack noise on altimeter data using a tensor decomposition is proposed. Maintenance and monitoring of big infrastructures, such as roads, is expensive, time-consuming, and requires many human resources. In many areas, humans are being replaced by computer vision systems that perform faster and more precise. Moreover, some inspection tasks can reach incredibly high levels of complexity. Recently, deep learning approaches showed impressive results in object detection and image segmentation. It can provide a state-of-the-art solution for most computer vision tasks, including pattern inspection and defect detection. In this work, we present a pixel-wise road pavement defects detection method by using U-Net convolutional neural network. We have experimentally evaluated the impact of a different number of layers, filter sizes and the number of features in segmentation performance and processing time. This IA performs the analysis of the requirements, determines the number and percentage of missing indicators for determining the metrics of complexity and quality of software, displays which indicators are missing for each metric, and also forms the real ontology of the domain “Software Engineering” (part “Quality and complexity of software. Metric analysis”). During an experiment, which is conducted with the help of the realized IA, the semantic analysis of requirements for the Internet of Things (IoT)-system was performed. The new approach, named Touch&Go, can be viewed as an adaptation of the Prince2 method. In particular, after defining the new paradigm, we shows an application with a product-oriented approach, to implement a Quality Management System for the Department of Didactic and Managerial Training of the Italian Air Force, focusing on the importance of the hierarchies typical of the Armed Forces, on Learned Lessons and on Risk Management. Then, we carried out a qualitative analysis comparing the Touch & Go method with Prince2 and other project management methodologies. The aim of the paper is to present a completely new methodology of project management and to emphasize its easy application in any working context. A virtual spectroscope consist of a sine voltage generator (analog output of DAQ card), smoothing filter and two-channel voltage recorder - two analog inputs of DAQ card. The impedance of the tested object is measured indirectly using voltage samples on the object and a reference resistor, which is used to measure the current. All operations connected with signal generation, registration both voltage and current signals and also determination of the object impedance and its components has been developed in LabVIEW environment. In the paper a justification of the frequency band width of the signal depending on the maximum sampling frequency of DAC and the parameters of the used smoothing filter is presented. When the used DAQ card in analog input has only a single ADC therefore alternating sampling of both signals (voltage and current) must be used, therefore the additional signal phase shift proportional to signals frequency and sampling period occur. A simple and effective method of correction of this effect is proposed. In order to carry out experimental research, a research stand was developed. The uncertainty of the measurement results was investigated by A and B methods. There are many countries even these days, where SMS sending has quit a high price. The SMS messages are shown in a chat-style app, where all messages are shown in chat bubbles. Free SMS can be sent in two ways. The first way is to send free SMS via a SOAP server. The second way is to send free SMS with email via email to SMS gateways. The app has also possibility to send paid SMS too. The sender needs to have the app installed and needs to have an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile), but the receiver not, since the final messages are sent as SMS messages. Experiments presenting the phenomenon during various device configurations are presented. The use of an explicit time integration method is investigated in this paper. The time integration scheme is derived from the state-space model of the equation of motion. The Force Analogy Method (FAM) is used to account for physical nonlinearity of a 10-story reinforced concrete (RC) frame structure. Two earthquake recorded ground motions are used in this paper in the attempt to catch the accuracy of the investigated numerical scheme. The results are compared and validated with well established commercial software. The main issues presented in this work is related to students and the obstacles that they face with during applying, preparing and coming to any of the overseas education programs. The questions of how responsible people / entities from different universities can make things easier for incoming students and how universities can attract more participants to their international study programs, short-term cross-border events, etc. to support the internationalization and cross-border cooperation between universities / countries are described, additionally, the involved and responsible entities are identified. The research was done on the example of cooperation programs and activities of Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Germany.
