This paper covers some challenges and possible solutions related to the preservation of scientific experiments on HPC systems and represents a concept of the preservation system for HPC computations. Storage of the experiment itself with some related data is not only enough for its future reproduction, especially in the long term. For that case preservation of the whole experiment's environment (operating system, used libraries, environment variables, input data, etc.) via containerization technology (e.g. using Docker, Singularity) is proposed. This approach allows to preserve the entire environment, but is not always possible on every HPC system because of security issues. And it also leaves a question, how to deal with commercial software that was used within the experiment. As a possible solution we propose to run a preservation process outside of the computing system on the web-server and to replace all commercial software inside the created experiment's image with open source analogues that should allow future reproduction of the experiment without any legal issues. The prototype of such a system was developed, the paper provides the scheme of the system, its main features and describes the first experimental results and further research steps.","PeriodicalId":415006,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133913524","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Parking guide service is developed to find and book parking facilities in the big cities. The application can search available parking facilities at the shortest distance from the current customer location, inform users about lot availability and has enhanced managing functionality. For accessible parking facilities a new, light searching algorithm is proposed. The app usage on the private parking lot enabled to optimize the occupancy of parking spaces by 19% and reduce the time needed to search for a vacant lot.","PeriodicalId":415006,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114430176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed design works at GPS/Galileo (1.13- 1.32) GHz, LTE band 3 (1.6 – 1.88) GHz, LTE (2.60 – 3.0) GHz and WLAN (4.92 – 5.50) GHz for −10 dB reference value of the return loss (Reflection coefficient). The design has microstrip feedline followed by a quarter wave transformer. Slots were introduced in both the poles for size miniaturization and also to improve impedance bandwidth, gain and efficiencies. The antenna performance is evaluated in terms of impedance bandwidth, gain and radiation pattern. Moreover, introduction of the slots helps to get an additional resonance frequency. The design is fabricated, and results are measured for the fabricated design. Simulated results show close resemblance with measured results.","PeriodicalId":415006,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128066528","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is the second leading cause of death in cancer patients globally. It is the second most prevailing cancer following lungs cancer. Wavelet transformation and wavelet mathematical functions have proved extremely useful for processing digital signals and digital images in last few decades. In this research, breast cancer digital mammograms are processed through wavelet transforms for extracting useful features which can then be used to train classifier. This work shows that processing digital mammograms with the aid of multilevel wavelet transformation yields much better performance and can help radiologists identify and classify breast cancer with better accuracy.","PeriodicalId":415006,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127259961","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
