As daily routines were upended, we wanted to understand the impact on nurses' participation in continuous learning. We retrospectively analyzed the learning logs of 194 nurses enrolled in a 12-month distance learning course, one cohort from March 2019 to February 2020 and one from March 2020 to February 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The frequency of monthly logins for the COVID-19 pandemic cohort was compared for nurses with and without prior distance learning experience. Login frequency was also compared for nurses who cared directly for COVID-19 patients and those who did not. Monthly login frequency for March 2020 was significantly higher than for March 2019, while log in frequency for April 2020 was significantly lower than for April 2019. We attribute this to an increase in COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths in April 2020. From March 2020 to August 2020, login frequency was significantly higher for nurses without previous distance learning experience, suggesting their distance learning strategies were not yet established. During September and October 2020, login frequency was significantly higher in the group with distance learning experience, from which we inferred active procrastination. We found no significant differences in the login frequencies of nurses who cared for COVID-19 patients and those who did not. The results of our study suggest that stressors imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant negative impact on distance learning progress. Screening in advance for previous distance learning experience and providing mentoring and learning supports are recommended to mitigate interference with distance learning progress during times of heightened professional and personal stress.","PeriodicalId":414070,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics (IIAI-AAI)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129493631","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Particularly this leads to changing roles and representation of the human actors involved in education and research towards databased representations of all actors. Since this has not been modelled theoretically yet, it can be assumed that such a modelling, as a media-didactic theory, can enable a new perspective of insightful epistemological character - especially for complex ethical issues in AI. Empirically driven the paper presents knowledge entries developed along the case of the ComplexEthics project, focusing on media-didactic preparation and media-technical implementation. Respectively, we first compare our current understanding of three possible dimensions of orientation (media theory - technology design - actor roles) to be developed, arising from didactic core questions. As well the changing roles and databased representations of human actors who are involved in education and research are considered in a comparative way. Core elements of the media didactic design on which the approach is based, are highlighted in order to illuminate its background and to transform the theory toward the media-technological implementation. Then we summarize the functions of the orientation toolkit from a content perspective in order to illuminate the subject areas around ethics of AI, focusing on digital interactions of research.","PeriodicalId":414070,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics (IIAI-AAI)","volume":"147 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129571623","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To perform modeling of the peoples movements, an effective description will be expected for their systematic analysis. In this paper, the delay differential equations and Markov process model of the peoples movements are developed to catch the rough behavior of the people. Then, the peoples convergence, divergence and approaching to the constant values are shown. Further, this paper proposes the estimation method of the Markov order of the movements computed simply using the number of peoples and their correlations. It is shown that the simulation models based on the differential equations and Markov process are useful for understanding peoples movements.","PeriodicalId":414070,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics (IIAI-AAI)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128289039","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such stereotypes can quickly convey the message the creator wants to send to the audience, but on the other hand, they can also lead the creator to lazy thinking and prevent from innovation and critical thinking. In this research we propose a design method according to the elements of the source to jump out the design stereotypes. In an example of visual design of dragon, to avoid the influence of stereotypes of dragon's appearance we used English translation of Revelation and bible materials, without referring to any historical illustrations or visual artworks. We found out some descriptions of dragon's appearance, such as the heads, tail, horns, and crowns, and created a 3D CG model of dragon according to the descriptions.","PeriodicalId":414070,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics (IIAI-AAI)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126379507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The HRED model is a model for multi-turn dialogues by creating a hierarchical structure by layering several encoder-decoder models. Furthermore, the VHRED model generates a variety of responses by adding latent variables. However, since these models do not consider the user who has spoken, they generate inconsistent responses in the same dialogue, which is a problem. In this study, instead of using the user's embedding vector, we add a user recurrent NN (User-RNN) to retain the speech information of each speaker and generate consistent responses.","PeriodicalId":414070,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics (IIAI-AAI)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125644348","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, research has not sufficiently examined the advantages of university library use from the high school students' perspective, as well as the issues of their use. This study's objective is to clarify the awareness of high school students who have been granted access to university libraries and the process leading to their usage thereof. Using semi-structured interviews as the survey method, the study targeted 11 graduates of high schools that had offered students access to university libraries. Analysis of utterance records using a modified grounded theory approach deduced a model for thought and behavior. The results showed that in terms of resources, high school students often use university libraries in order to obtain information unavailable elsewhere, and this usage may contribute to improvement in their capacities and support for exploratory study. In terms of space, however, university libraries are often used only as a study space, which is an application that is interchangeable with other libraries, indicating that in some cases students are failing to make use of spatial functions unique to university libraries.","PeriodicalId":414070,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics (IIAI-AAI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131129276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Organizational climate can be aspects of the environment that are consciously perceived and experienced by organizational members on a daily basis. A positive climate is argued to promote positive organizational commitment and perceived organizational performance. To test this argument in the context of Vietnam, the present paper is conducted with targets are Vietnam SOEs and Non SOEs. A total of 335 results were collected, including 178 and 157 answers from Non SOEs and SOEs respectively. This paper's findings confirmed a positive relationship between organizational climate and organizational commitment and perceived organizational performance in both cases. Despite receive favorable treatments from the State, Vietnam SOEs continue to be ineffective and inefficient. However, from the perspective of SOEs members, they perceive a positive organizational climate as they continue to enjoy the benefits and privileges of being SOEs' members. As a result, their analyses show stronger impacts of organizational climate on organizational commitment and perceived organizational commitment compared to Non SOEs'.","PeriodicalId":414070,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics (IIAI-AAI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132455939","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study conducted the questionnaire using the Japanese version of the Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI-J) and the Bidimensional Resilence Scale (BRS) in order to examine the relationship between individual personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness) and innate or acquired resilience factors in Chinese university students by means of correlation analysis. As a result, the marginally significant positive correlation was found between the innate resilience factor and the outgoing and sociable personality traits, extraversion $(r=.355,p <. 10)$. No statistical association was seen between resilience and the other factors of agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness. The results suggest that recuperative ability is not only influenced by personality traits but also by other factors and that the acquisition of resilience may be determined by the mutual interaction with other factors.","PeriodicalId":414070,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics (IIAI-AAI)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131663349","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
